Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Here Is Why New Applicants Don't Get NGO Jobs Often by Onira147: 10:58pm On May 21, 2020 |
Exactly.. Am on the same page with you.. I have seen alot of them on line through jobmag but they are mostly in borno and yobe state Npower:
I understand exactly what you are saying bro but don't make it look like it's only in the Northeast that one can volunteer. There are a lot of NGOs in Abuja, Lagos, in fact every state in Nigeria has no less than 5 international NGOs working in it. Finally, I won't advise anyone to take up a volunteering role in the northeast. I have a lot of colleagues whom even with 5 million naira per month salary, they won't near north so why would anyone risk his like for a voluntary role?. Remember, life is just ONE ... So what I'm saying is.. You can begin your volunteering role elsewhere and not necessarily in the northeast. |

Boss, abeg you fit link me up with any NGO, even if nah for volunteer, i go accept am with both hands, cos i have wanted to work with an NGO and i have been applying too but nothing come out.. Npower:
So Oga, for someone who is in Borno state, this is what you call earning big? It's either the person doesn't want to tell you his salary or his is just a temporary staff (consultant). I'm a state Assistant mobilization officer in a south eastern state and that amount you mentioned is for our consultant who work 15 days a month. |
Family / Re: What's The Most Painful Thing Someone Ever Said To You? by Onira147: 10:10pm On Apr 02, 2020 |
Yea painful no doubt.. But made you more self conscious and cautious..right? Honeydenz: Today makes it exactly 5 years one of my aunts said a very painful word to me which I can never forget.
She said and I quote "the rate at which you are going this girl, 5 years from now you would have become a mother of 4 kids, all borne out of wedlock"
Today I have been able to prove her wrong, doing my masters program now whereas two of her daughters are university dropouts, as a result of unwanted pregnancy.
Hmmmm... How time flies, share yours.
