I-invest is owned by Sterling Bank. Their platform is legit. Been using it for about 5 years now. I currently have TB portfolio with them running till next year.
It is good for TB at secondary market. Just note that their advertised rate is not truly what you get because they invest your interest alongside.
can you please explain what you mean by their advertised rate is not truly what you get? If you can explain with numbers it’ll be helpful. God bless

Politics / Reality Of Nigeria Today by OnoriodeV14(m): 10:39pm On Mar 23, 2020
As Nigerians we see progress according to our own reality. The average Nigerian thinks because of the fact that a bunch of his/her friends use an Iphone or drive luxury cars, then the statement "Nigerians are very rich” is correct.

We are so poor as a country that the per capita income of Nigeria is $2,222- This means the average Nigerian earns  ₦799,920 yearly, not exaggerating but most people earn less. When you earn approx. 800k yearly, how much will you spend on Rent? Food? Transport? Medicals?

When I first came to Lagos, my friend showed me the sellers on the road and said "these guys are working very hard only to eat and give everything to their landlords" . Most Nigerians do not have disposable income ( this is money that a person has as left over after all of his required expenses have been paid)

When put in comparison, a person with disposable income will enjoy a better standard of living than the person without.

Qatar has the highest per capita income in the world -$69,688 which means the average Qatari earns roughly ₦25,087,680 yearly.

It is almost certain that people  without any disposable income believe that their ‘village people’ are always after them, so they run to religious houses seeking some form of Miracle or Financial breakthrough.

Have you ever wondered why there are no luxury brands like APPLE, GUCCI, FENDI, VERSACE, LOUIS VUITTON, MERCEDES-BENZ, DOLCE&GABBANA, HERMES in Nigeria? The answer is Simple, Nigerians cannot afford these brands, we are too poor to think of buying non essential items. Most of what we see is either fake or fairly used.

The Problem of Nigeria is an Economic problem and it will only get worse if we do not start asking the critical questions like how to double our GDP, Security, heathcare etc

Bro, can we be friends? I want people who think outside the box, lets sharr ideas such as these to improve ourselves. Your comment was spot on
Esseite:
Why not load taxi transport cards for Govt workers rather than official cars..

Lure an app based transport taxi system to the state, all there trips are paid for via the loaded card system.

Benefits;
- official destination trip tracking.
- massive employment mo up.
- employment for entrepreneur drivers.
- no maintenance bill.
- no purchase cost.
- investment in the private sector.
- better monitoring of Govt staff.

We need to start thinking outside the box...

Investment / Re: Home Ownership Is Mostly A Bad Investment- Expert Says by OnoriodeV14(m): 7:11am On Nov 15, 2019
Robert Kiyosaku said this before and I agree. An asset is anything that puts money in your pocket why a liability is anything that takes away money from your pocket. Investing 40 million naira in an apartment where only you will stay for comfort is not an investment, even if you have tenants that pay rent, what he his saying is, you can get a higher percentage of investment on your money than building a house.

Religion / Re: Russia Intensifies Jehovah’s Witnesses Crackdown With New Jailings by OnoriodeV14(m): 9:54am On Sep 22, 2019
Jehova's witness is not a Church but a Cult Group. There is no freedom of Speech, everything you do in life is been dictated to you..

Jehova's witness do not vote

Jehova's witness do not do Blood Transfusion

Jehova's witness do not engage in sporting activities ( Sport is one of the unifying things in this life)

Jehova's witness do not marry outside their cult

Jehova's witness are advised not to keep and be in contact with those who left the cult.

Jehova's witness do not celebrate birthdays

Jehova's witness believe everything others do is "wordly" they don't sing wordly songs but will watch Avengers end game and game of thrones. This is just hypocrisy.

Tell me one Jehova's witness that has made humanity a better place, they are more focused on afterlife than living the life God has prepared for us today.

I am not a JW but I dey kpansh one girl when be JW and her hypocrisy is the highest I have seen. Kudos to Russia, Religion is one of the ways to propagate evil and spread false information in a society.

Religion / Re: Is It Right For Non-muslims To Accept Food Used In Breaking The Ramadan Fasting? by OnoriodeV14(m): 10:11am On Jun 03, 2018
ladiesreject:
That's muslims for you.

They persuade you to eat/drink from them but they will never eat or drink from you, especially if it's the food meant to be used in breaking fast by Christians.

Muslims by default are supposed to discriminate and hate non Muslim (Christians).

As for me oooo, I won't eat the food. Not because am a religious person, but because that's exactly what they'll do if you turn the tables.

Hey, am talking about real and practising muslims, not those who in one way or the other have some western influence in the lives.

Hausa people call them infidels

Then my guess is you are not a true Christian lolz (No offence) because Jesus said not to pay evil with evil.
Religion / Re: Is It Right For Non-muslims To Accept Food Used In Breaking The Ramadan Fasting? by OnoriodeV14(m): 10:08am On Jun 03, 2018
DavidEsq:

The highlighted does not apply here. Wat the highlighted refers to is eating meat sacrificed to idols as contained in 1 Corinthians 8:4-12. However, wat is in issue is not wat u addressed. Revelations 18:4 says "....get out of her, my people, if u do not want to share with her in her sins, if u don't want to receive her plagues". This scripture talks about false worship or false religion in general. Based on this scripture, u do not accept such food.
The bible contains certain principles that are not as black and white as oda scriptures which clearly spell out certain do's and don't's. Therefore principles are the basis for addressing oda situations dat appear not so clear. Proverbs 28:5 says "........those who seek God can understand everything".

Please allow me point this to you:

There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many Lords. But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.
1 Corinthians 8:5‭-‬6 NLT

Only if you feel disturbed about the food then don't accept or eat it. Many of the people saying Christians shouldn't accept food from Muslims are hypocrites. Assuming you work in a bank as a cashier, would you accept cash deposits from only Christian customers. I believe every Nigerian knows that majority of cows killed for meat consumption are killed by Muslim guys. Before the cow is killed, they pray to their God. Why do we "CHRISTIANS" still buy their meat?

There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many Lords. But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.
1 Corinthians 8:5‭-‬6 NLT

It’s true that we can’t win God’s approval by what we eat. We don’t lose anything if we don’t eat it, and we don’t gain anything if we do.
1 Corinthians 8:8 NLT

NOW LET ME TELL YOU A QUICK OBERVATION I GOT FROM A STUDY OF PAULS LETTER

When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that.
1 Corinthians 5:9‭-‬10 NLT

My Observation: whilst on earth, there are somethings we must accept and tolerate, we cannot do away with even unbelievers of our faith. We will have to die and leave this world for it to the possible. Notice Jesus didn't say love your Christian neighbor as you love yourself. If you love and value your Muslim neighbor as you do yourself, then eating his food will be least of your problem. I think where the problem is, is when you join them in prayer and worship lol...

Business / Re: How Can A Person Living In Nigeria Become Rich? by OnoriodeV14(m): 6:23pm On Nov 17, 2017
The reason few people become rich in Nigeria is because of the mindset of the people. You get rich buy doing Business, making profitable investments. Which only few people know, we are not a knowledgeable Country.how many people in Nigeria Study wealthy people and how they did it. For example the Average Nigerian would rather watch home video than watching Dangote or Otedola giving a speech on AIT. True wealth is accumulated overtime, it is not a one day process. Yahoo is freely it comes freely it goes.you cannot make meaningful investment with such monies. All the corrupt politician's in Nigeria invest only in properties outside the country because they can't do genuine business with the stolen money, but see dangote building a refinery in Nigeria. Your wealth should be tailored towards the development of your country first. It's just my thoughts
