We did viewings for about two months before we found what we like. After our offer was accepted, we instructed our solicitor but along the line, the property the seller wanted to buy was withdrawn. We had to tell our solicitor to pause the process. The seller started looking again and found a propertyy in about three weeks. Local authority search took about six weeks.
kwakudtraveller:

Congratulations brother 🥳 More wins for you. If you don’t mind me asking, why did it take 5 months?

We got the keys to our new home on Friday. The process took over five months. Thanks to @lexus, jedisco, solumtoya and every other person who contributes to this thread. My wife and I got almost £7000 from LISA (bonus and interest).

I guess i need to carry out a survey, thanks for responding
Lexusgs430:

Without a basic survey, your mortgage provider would NEVER release funds......

You can conduct an upgraded survey, for a little more extra report & possiblity of reducing asking price ........

Everyone's circumstances are different...... You go with the lender that offers you the best rate/deal on the day........

You can either use a broker or conventional high street banks (brokers have more products than high street banks).........

First thing you need is a mortgage broker to get you a good deal from a financial institution.
You can start off by reaching out to L&C Mortgages they offer free mortgage advices.

My people, a friend is applying for tier 2 visa and they are requesting for English proficiency, the lawyer said he should use Ecctis for certificate and English language proficiency confirmation.
Now, Ecctis requested for his transcript, can he use student copy of the transcript?

If you go tomorrow to sleep, you will write your name. It might be on number 90 or 90..... Then you will be able to do next tomorrow.
They start calling names before 4am in the Morning. They will call those on the list first. Anyone that is not there, they will cancel out the name n call the next person. They will put the names on a new paper. At times they attend to 50 walk ins like today.
