Pls help o
Those with experience
The truth is that it depends on so many factors. It is possible for you to get a job withing 3 months of your arrival. If you're lucky to be in a big city. The chances of you getting a job, without you speaking German is high. Once you get a job, you wouldn't touch your Blocked account anymore. Your first payout from the Blocked account, might go for rent and the deposit. Once you get a job, you wouldn't touch the Blocked account again. Just as someone pointed out, the worst case scenario...he would start getting his money back from the 4th month.

There are some situations that might prevent you from working, like preparing for exams or if you don't get enough shift(s). Tell your sponsor that he would get his money back. I believe you won't betray the trust. Good luck.

Good evening good people.

To God be the glory,I got my Package today. The journey started last year after I got rejection after my F1 Interview.A friend of mine(@Stateboy8080),told me about the success rate about this thread.I read the whole of part 4 and subsequent parts.
I benefited immensely from the contributions of everyone in this family. I owe all the veterans for their wise counsel and I would love to emulate the Lannisters .They always pay their debts.

Timeline:

Admission: 5th of February
Interview: 26th of February
Blocking Confirmation sent on 28th of February
AM:8th of April
Visa:16th of April
Course:International Security Management(Msc)
School:HWR Berlin.

My profound gratitude to my friend @Stateboy8080.God will bless that dude.He took his time to help me get my transcripts,English letter of Proficiency;Letter of Recommendations from UNIBEN. Special thanks to @Acedboss for helping me pay my Uni assist fees. That dude is selfless.Thumbs up to @Dailydollar,@Zuperyh8,@Opinionator, and @Wonders7 who were personally instrumental to my journey.
And to the fantastic people here, you guys are awesome. I pray God grants us our hearts desires. The journey wasn't smooth. Whilst travelling to Lagos on the eve of my trip, one of the rear wheels of the vehicle I boarded with a nairalander pulled off on Lagos-Ibadan high way.It was God's grace we were unhurt.

To those waiting for AL,AM and Visa.Keep trusting God.He never fails.Your high GP might fail you, friends and family might not fulfil their promises to loan you cash but God never fails.Trust him and you will never be put to shame.

Good morning my good people.

Congrats to those that have gotten their AM.

Is there anyone with interview date, 18th or 20th February still awaiting AM?

I am still waiting for mine but hopeful it will come this week.

I would advise you to send mail to the Consulate ASAP or better still place call to them and inform them about your case.Good luck.

Well done everyone,

Please, experts in the house, how does one go about transferring the required fund into the blocked account in Germany and how the bank changes and all processing fee is how much? basically, what are the steps in transferring to the account?

Thank you.
You can use form A or Dormicilliary account. The latter is better, but you would source the Euros from aboki yourself. The bank charges can be as high as 57 Euros. The bank officials would wire the cash to your BA, after you must have filled the forms correctly. Good luck.

After combing through daad.de, I'm finding it very difficult to see courses that are closely related to what I studied in my first degree and its making me to be very angry.

I studied criminology and security studies and the only course that is kind of close to this is(peace and conflict studies)

Please if anybody can help me out I will be very greatful.

There are couple of courses though. Not every course and school is on daad. You can check HWR Berlin. The school has Masters in International Security Management. That's kinda close to your first degree.NB The course is only available in Summer.Good luck.

What they mean it's the application form(s) of the universities you are planning to attend. The online form you must have filled or want to fill on the School's website. You print it out and take it along with you on the day of the certification. Hope this is clear.

Go to Lagos State high court Ikeja,go along with your passport and the passport of the head of your family preferably your dad, mum or uncle. You would told to go the business center close to the court to type. The head of the family would sign the form. You would be charged #500 bucks.

Go to Lagos State High court Ikeja. Go along with your passport and the passport of the head of your family, preferably your dad, your mum or uncle. The officials would direct you to the business center close to the court, to type it for you. You would then go back to the main office, where it would be stamped, but the signature of the head of the family is needed in the form.
