FINANCIAL PROSPERITY IS A NECESSITY

Prosperity isn't optional for the Christian it's mandatory. That's the reason God sent Jesus to us to secure our financial Destiny as well. Don't you understand that the poor don't have a voice.? Look at our opening scripture; it says that the poor wise man's words weren't heard. The reason is simple - because he was poor. This means that financial prosperity gives you a voice that use be heard. The Bible says, " THE POOR USA THE ENTREATIES; BUT THE RICH ANSWERED ROUGHLY" (( PROVERBS 18:23) He's saying the poor is always humbled and has to beg but the rich are always bold and confident when they talk.

You must understand that money is an accelerator and an amplifier. If you have enough money, you can get whatever it is you want as fast as you want it without unnecessary protocols- that's the accelerating effect of money. Wealth amplifies your voice, do you understand? So talking or kicking against money won't do you any good. You have to decide today to side in with God prosperity plan for you otherwise you'll live all your life merely surviving. Zig Zig large said " money is not the most important thing in life but it's reasonably close to oxygen". God bless you.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.

Are you one of those who have trouble sleeping at night? Perhaps just this morning you said, “I was up the whole night—my boy was running a high fever,” or “I slept for only two hours—I was awake polishing up my presentation,” or “I couldn’t sleep at all—I was worried about the bills that are piling up.”

God “gives His beloved sleep”. Who are His beloved? You and I! Because we are in Christ, we are His beloved. (Ephesians 1:6, 2 Thessalonians 2:13)

God says, “It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows…” In other words, it is pointless to worry and lose sleep because the truth is, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

So let God be the one who builds your career and watches over your financial investments. Let Him be the one who guards your health, marriage and children. Don’t worry and stay up late as if you are the source of the increase, or the one who has the power to make things happen and save the situation. No, God is the one and He says to you, “My beloved child, throw that care to Me and go to sleep.” And while you are sleeping, He is working on your situation. He, who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3–4), works the night shift for you as you sleep!

But because we are such doers and performers, it is hard for us to let go and let God take over. But when we actually do, casting all our cares, anxieties and worries once and for all into His hands, we will see how He cares for us affectionately and watchfully. (1 Peter 5:7) We will see Him taking care of our problems and working things out for good. (Romans 8:28)

Beloved, trust your Father’s love for you. Cast your cares on Him and have no more sleepless nights!

As a Christian, whatever you do or whatever you find yourself, let this consciousness guide you- You're always victorious. It doesn't please God to see his children harassed by the devil and his cohorts. The reason for the captivity of a lot of Christian is their ignorance. Since the death of Jesus christ on the cross and his resurrection, the problem of man ceased to be the devil but ignorance. In psalms82:5 the bible says , " THEY KNOW NOT NEITHER WILL THEY UNDERSTAND; THEY WALK ON IN DARKNESS...." SO DARKNESS which includes failures , frustrations, defeat , death , sicknesses, poverty et will prevail in the presence of ignorance. There are truly no mountains anywhere but every man's ignorance is his own mountain.


Your victory in christ is assured and a done deal but if you're ignorant of it, satan will keep prevailing in your life. You'll keep being sick until you come to understand your victory over the sicknesses. When I discovered that from the word of God, I have never suffered sickness once every since.


Our opening scripture says God " giveeth" , this king James bible's way of saying " gives". " Gives " connotes " continually". So God continually provides victory for us in christ. This means as Christians, there is no one time we lack victory. Oh this gets me excited now! We're always victorious in our academics: we're always victorious in our health and finances; we're always victorious all round. Glory to God!

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord…

The doctor has just told you that you have an incurable disease. The X-rays and blood tests confirm it. Your worst fears have come true and you feel like your future has been sealed.

My friend, the doctor’s report is not final. Jesus declares to you, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 1: He has the first word as well as the final word in your situation. The experts and medical reports don’t!

Alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. But Jesus did not speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic or Hebrew. So He would have said, “I am the Aleph and the Tav.” Aleph and tav are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. So what Jesus is declaring to us is this: “I have the first word in your situation. And I have the final word in your situation!”

Each Hebrew letter has a corresponding picture. Interestingly, aleph is associated with an ox and tav, a cross. Together, they make up a beautiful picture of what Jesus did for us—He is the sacrificial “animal” on the cross. It was for us that He suffered, bled and died.

When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17). That is why your sickness does not have the final word in your life. Jesus does, because He took your sickness upon His body and paid for your healing with His blood.

When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our curse. (Galatians 3:13) We were supposed to be cursed because of our sins, but He took our place and the curse fell on Him. Today, we take His place and His blessings fall on us!

So why settle for the curse of sickness or even poverty when the price for your healing and provision has been paid by Jesus? Sickness and poverty do not have the final word in your life. Jesus does because He redeemed you from every curse!

Beloved, when man says that it is impossible, Jesus says that it is possible. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, has the final word in your situation!

YOU HAVE THE VICTORY


"FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOME.1 THE WORLD : AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD EVEN OUR FAITH" ( 1 JOHN 5:4)




When you receive Jesus into your life it's a different experience. You're no longer the victim but the victor. When become born again , you re now a reproduction of God- you're his offspring literally ! In the scripture above, he says you have now overcome the world. The word " overcometh" here is translated from a Greek word which means " to prevail , conquer and to get the victory" . In other words in christ, you always prevail over the world and it's elements ; in christ, you have conquered the world ; you always have the victory. What a life .


Now your story isn't the same as that of the rest of the world . No wonder the bible says in job 22:29 " when men are cast down , then though say , there is lifting up...." . So while the rest of the world are crying in defeat , you're testifying of victory. This is the life of the Christian. It doesn't matter the negative report the doctor present you with , say it is over and gain to your self " I have the victory" . May be what you're seeing from the job or business or academics isn't really nice, don't forget you have the victory! Go to sleep saying it to yourself and wake up saying it also ; let your mind be preoccupied with it always and in no time , you'll the victory you always spoke of materialise. Hallelujah!

1) HE WILL CONVINCE THE PERSON OF SIN . ( VERSE 9) NOW NOTICE THAT JESUS DIDN'T SAY SINS AS IN PLURAL BUT SIN AS IN SINGULAR . BECAUSE HE TELLS US THAT THE SIN THEY ARE GUILTY OF , IS NOT BELIEVING IN HIM. AND THEY WILL CONVINCE IN THEIR HEARTS AND THAT IS WHY THEY CAN GET SAVED.

2) HE WILL CONVINCE THEM OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ( VERSE 10)
JESUS SAID HE WILL CONVINCE THEM OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BECAUSE HE GOES TO HIS FATHER AND THRY CANT SEE HIM. THIS MEANS IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT CONVINCE THE UNBELIEVER ABOUT RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD. HE MAKES HIM KNOW THAT BY HIS WORKS HE CANT GET THEIR.

3) HE WILL CONVINCE THEM OF JUDGEMENT ( VERSE 11)
JESUS SAYS THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL CONVINCE THE UNBELIEVER ABOUT JUDGEMENT . EVERY UNBELIEVER IN HIS HEART IS AWARE OF JUDGEMENT THOUGH THEY MAY DENY IT. HE SAYS THEY WILL BE JUDGED BECAUSE THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD ( SATAN) IS JUDGED .


THE ROLE HE PLAYS IN SALVATION IS BY CONVINCING AND CONVICTING THEM ABOUT SALVATION WHILE THE MESSAGE IS BEING PREACHED.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Perhaps you have heard people say of others: “Oh, if only you had seen my husband in the early years of our marriage. He had such an explosive temper that I used to seek shelter in my mother’s house!”

“No one would have ever guessed that she had such a promiscuous past.”

“As a young boy, he would always lie through his teeth and not even bat an eyelid!”

Man looks at you and remembers what you were like in the past. But when God looks at you through the new covenant, He declares, “I will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

He states it plainly in His Word as if to assure us: “When you come to Me, don’t think that I am thinking about your sins. Don’t think that every time I look at you, I am reminded of your sins. Not only am I not keeping a record, but I am also not mindful of your failures and shortcomings. I am telling you that I will remember your sins no more, never again!”

God can say that all our sins He remembers no more because there was a time when He remembered them and punished every one of them—in the body of His Son at the cross. He punished every single one of them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30) That is why today, God can justly say, “Your sins I will remember no more.”

We all know that we sin from time to time. But the good news is that all our sins have already been dealt with at the cross. They have been washed away by Jesus’ blood. Now, when we come into God’s presence, He sees us without our sins. So beloved, forget your past failures. Believe that God remembers your sins no more and be the righteous man that you already are in Christ!

YOU HAVE LIMITLESS CAPACITY


"AND THE LORD SAND BEHOLD THE PEOPLE IS ONE AND THEY HAVE ALL ONE LANGUAGE AND THIS THEY BEGIN TO DO: AND NOW NOTHING WILL BE RESTRAINED FROM THEM WHICH THEY HAVE IMAGINED TO DO " ( GENESIS 11:6)

Our opening scripture is amazing ! That was and still is God's testimony of man . He says they cannot be stopped from accomplishing whatever they've imagined to do . Don't forget that imagination is a function of the mind. So God is saying that whatever it is that your mind decides on accomplishing can be done. In other words, you have limitless capacity! The problem with most people mind is not lack of efficiency but lack of capacity. Their minds are too small and so it can only accommodate small dreams. What such people need is capacity building through word of God- in other words enlarge the coast of their minds so that the dreams it can contain will be bigger.


There are lots of people who have rendered themselves unfit for God to use in certain capacities because their minds are too small to see and contain the vision God wants them to fulfill through them . That your road side boutique can become a multi million dollar clothing company; your restaurant that is in kiosk can become a leading fast food chain in your state or country; extramural lessons you organizational for high school students can metamorphose into a world renowned academic institution; your road side pharmacy shop can become a leading pharmaceutical company in your country or continents ; that your NGO ( non governmental organisations) that looks so small now can become so renowned that it partners with governments of nations in tackling sensitive issues around the world. The question is, what can you see? How big is your mind ? The difference between where you are today and where you'll be in 3 years or 5 years or 10 years is your mind . Challenge yourself today to dream big for your mind has limitless capacity! Glory to God!

JESUS IS GOD’S SATISFACTION

    Leviticus 1:9
…And the priest shall burn all [the pieces of the bull] on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.

When Jesus was on the cross, He did more than just die for your sins. His one sacrifice did not just remove your sins, but it also clothed you in His righteousness and perfection. Jesus became the true “burnt sacrifice”.

In the Old Testament, whenever someone offered a burnt sacrifice, the perfection of the animal came on him. In the same way, every perfect attribute of Jesus your “burnt sacrifice” comes on you when you take Him as your Savior. And because God sees you clothed with Christ, you have the same acceptance and favor with Him that Jesus has!

When Jesus was offered on the cross, the fire of God brought out His perfections like perfume to God. In that one sacrifice, Jesus’ obedience and perfections rose as “a sweet aroma to the Lord”, which is what is emitted when the offering is burnt. This “sweet aroma” speaks of a savor of rest to God. Jesus’ perfect sacrifice gave God so much satisfaction that He rested.

You can also rest in the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, knowing that what He did, He did for you—“Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma”. (Ephesians 5:2) You can rest knowing that God the Father is satisfied with you because His Son’s sacrifice has caused His heart to rest with regard to you. You can rest because Jesus is God’s satisfaction for you.

Today, as you come before God, say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is such a delight and joy to You. He satisfies Your heart completely. And what He did, He did for me. Because Jesus so satisfies You, I know that You are satisfied with me. Because Jesus is Your delight, I am also Your delight. Because Jesus so pleases You, I know I please You too. And because Jesus is my righteousness and perfection, I stand righteous and perfect before You.”

Beloved, when you speak of Christ and His finished work, it goes up to God as a sweet-smelling aroma, a savor of rest. And if God can rest in the perfect sacrifice of His Son, you can too!

The battles of life Ard fought and won in the realm of the mind . Whether or not you'll end up a success in life, it begins with your mind. If you lose the fight inwards you'll surely lose it outwards and this is very important. We must be very concerned about the state of your -what God's into it.
The bible says to " keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are issues of life ( Proverbs 4:23). He says you should diligently protect your mind because the sum total of your life will come out from there.

But a lot of Christians aren't doing this. Instead they do the opposite - they're compulsory customers of every newspaper and every news on television which will only tell them how bad the economy is and how they don't stand a chance for success; they watch the wrong movies that don't add anything to them in terms of knowledge and skill; they spend their time and money on wrong things until they ultimately fail in life and then they wonder how it happened. Little did they know that all along ,with the negative information they allowed into their hearts ,they were subconsciously programming themselves for failure.

But you can make a change today ! Our opening scripture says to transform your life by renewing your mind. If you'd stay in it long enough , you'd be amazed how much a success you'd have become in a short while. Shalom.

JESUS’ HIGH PRIESTHOOD IS FOREVER

    Hebrews 6:20
…Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Jesus is our High Priest forever. This “forever” aspect changes the way we are blessed and how we receive our blessings from God. As our High Priest, Jesus represents us before God. Since His priesthood is after the order of Melchizedek, which is one of righteousness, His righteousness becomes our righteousness forever. This means that we are forever righteous in God’s eyes!

And because He will never die, but continue as our High Priest forever, we have an everlasting righteousness, not merely a here-today-gone-tomorrow righteousness based on our works. No, we have a perpetual and everlasting righteousness because Jesus is our High Priest forever.

This also means that blessings are perpetually on your head because the Bible says that blessings are on the head of the righteous (Proverbs 10:6), and you are righteous forever!

Unlike the priesthood according to the Levitical order, which blesses as well as curses, the priesthood of Jesus according to the Melchizedek order only blesses. There is no cursing, only blessing—always and forever!

And because Jesus is our High Priest forever, the blessings do not come to us in intermittent drips, but stream into our lives in a never-ending flow. Because He is our High Priest forever, we can never stop His blessings.

By being our High Priest forever, Jesus also touches the blessings that He gives us with a forever effect. He touches our lives and we have eternal life. He touches our ministry and its impact becomes eternal. And the more we see His priesthood as having a forever effect, the more permanent our blessings will be.

Truly, there is nothing temporal about what Jesus our High Priest does. It is not a case of blessed today, cursed tomorrow. The blessings we receive are sure and steadfast because Jesus is our High Priest today, tomorrow and forever.

So rejoice because Jesus your High Priest changes how you are blessed forever!

GOD'S WORD IS LIFE


"FOR THEY ARE LIFE UNTO THOSE THAT FIND THEM AND HEALTH TO ALL FLESH"(PROVERBS 4:22)


The word of God is life but only to those who find it. Sadly ,not everyone finds the word of God. Just because we gathered in church and someone reads out of the bible or someone talks about God doesn't mean we've been taught the word of God. Some people go to churches and all they find are lies or perverted truth or incomplete truth. Because the word of God is life when you find it , it'll give life to you - suddenly you start feeling liberated , bolder , self confident, effective and more productive - that's life! But you find it , you'll keep wallowing in the dark .

The scripture above goes further to say that for those that find the word ; it is health to their flesh. It's not some part of their flesh but all of it . In other words ,from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet will receive health from the word of God. The word " health" here is the Hebrew word " MARPE " which refers to" healing or medicine". So the word of God is medicine to all our flesh. This is wonderful! The same way others run after tablets when they feel sick , we can administer the medicine of God's word to our bodies when we feel sick and recover. How is this done ? It's through our mouth, Glory to God! You begin to say, " I REFUSE TO BE SICK; SICKNESS CANNOT STAY IN MY BODY ; BECAUSE I HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD AT WORK IN ME" HALLELUJAH! As you do this ,you will watch your health wax stronger by the day.

…an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

God does not play a game of counterattack with the devil—the devil does something bad, then God steps in to bring something good out of it. The truth is, when something bad happens, it is the devil reacting to something good that God has started. The Lord once told me, “Tell My people that if they want to understand what I am doing, just look at what the devil is doing and see it in reverse. That is what I am doing, multiplied many times over.”

I see this truth in the Bible. When Christ was born, soldiers were sent to kill all baby boys under the age of two in Bethlehem. The folks in Bethlehem then would have seen only evil. But there were those like Mary who saw God’s goodness. They knew that God had sent a Savior into the world! The killing of the infants was just the devil’s reaction to the gift of salvation that God had sent.

The Lord showed me that this was how we were to look at the bird flu when it hit our region not too long ago. While I was pondering the significance of birds, the Lord showed me Matthew 6:26: “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

If God takes care of the birds, how much more will He take care of you! So, by attacking the birds with disease, the devil is, in essence, reacting to God’s provision for His people. In other words, he saw that God’s provision had already been released on His people in a big way!

With every new virus that the devil throws at us, you must discern that the devil is trying to pervert and reverse what God is already doing. Then, you will know that something good is going to come out of it. You see, every new strain of virus tells us that God has already released a new anointing of health for His people. And I believe that He releases new levels of increase for His people too. So don’t just see the evil. See the good that God is already doing!

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING



"A WHOLESOME TONGE IS A TREE OF LIFE : BUT PERVERSION THERE IN IS A BREACH IN SPIRIT" (PROVERBS 15:4)



In the scripture above ,the word translated "wholesome" is the Hebrew word " MARPE" which means " healing or health or cure". This is awesome. In other words, a healing tongue is a tree of life. A tree bears fruit while a healing tongue is thatgue that speaks positively. So when you use your tongue positively, it will produce or bear fruits in your health; in your finances; in your academics; in every area of your life . "MARPE" which is a wholesome " also means " cure" . In other words, even if there is an injury in any area of your life - your finances etc using your tongue positively can cure it. What a potential we have ! Sadly, many Christians don't do this . Never talk negatively for it is dangerous. . The later part of our opening scripture says " ........ but perverseness therein a breach in spirit" . "Perverseness" here means " a distortion or crookedness" while breach refers to a bruise or fracture. In other words, crookedness in your words will lead to a bruised or fractured spirit. If your spirit is fractured ,how then can your finances be fine for you? God is asking you today what are you saying? You can decide today that things must change- no matter how provoked you're refuse to use your words negatively on your spouse, your children etc because it will result in a fractured life. No one ever desires a fracture. Praise the Lord!

JESUS, YOUR GOOD SHEPHERD AND DOOR

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Jesus said that He is the “door of the sheep”. What did He mean? Well, a sheepfold during Jesus’ time had no door which could be opened and closed. The door of the sheepfold was just an opening. In this kind of sheepfold, after the sheep had entered it, the shepherd would sleep at the entrance. The shepherd became, effectively, the “door” of the sheepfold.

When Jesus told His disciples, “I am the good shepherd,” (John 10:11) He also assured them emphatically that He was the “door of the sheep”. He was telling them and us, “Inside My sheepfold, My sheep are always safe, completely protected and kept close under My watchful eyes. And since I am just at the entrance of the sheepfold, nothing, not even the muffled bleat of one of My own, can escape My ears. Also, nothing evil outside the sheepfold can enter and touch My sheep without first coming through Me for I am the door of My sheep.”

So when the fight of life comes knocking on your door and when panic threatens to rise within you, see yourself doubly protected! He is both the good shepherd and the door of His sheep. As your good shepherd, He gave His life for you to redeem you from poverty, sickness and every other curse.

As your door, He keeps out everything evil that He has redeemed you from. Because He shed His blood for you, you are covered and protected within the sheepfold by a blood-stained door. Disaster, destruction and death must pass over you and your family because of His blood on your door. Remember that on the night of the first Passover in Egypt, the destroyer could not enter the houses of the Israelites because of the blood of the lamb on their doors. (Exodus 12:13, 23)

Today, you can live life untroubled and unafraid, knowing that Jesus, your good shepherd and door, protects and preserves you and your family. No evil will befall you or your loved ones because He is your dwelling place and refuge!
