Hello fellow nairalanders, I'm resident in Port Harcourt and want to get my International Passport. I went to the immigration office here in Port Harcourt and discovered the cost is just too high, in other words the Port Harcourt office isn't DIY friendly. So I'd like to know of there's any other state in the South-South or South-East region that is DIY friendly?

I remember a classmate of mine who didn't have a phone in secondary school because of her parents but she was a big fan of porn. As far as kids are concerned do your best and leave the rest for God. I've seen the most strict type of parents end up with wayward children after years of discipline and I've seen parents who are not too strict end up with mature, sensible and disciplined children. Even religion doesn't help. Whether you carry dem go church or not, pikin wey go loose guard go lose guard. Just do your best my brothers and sisters. Try dey advice your children too. As for your saying it's economic situation that forced me into this, that's ridiculous.
My late Dad owned a construction company and that was the main reason I actually studied engineering in school. After I graduated from school, I was appointed as the director of the company, but I rejected it cos God told me to forsake all. My parents even said I was mad then and started taking me to several men of God thinking I had gone insane.
When that failed , my aunt started making visa preparations for me and my immediate elder sister to join her in the US ,I also rejected that. My sister in question is currently in America and has spent years there. I can go on and on to tell you the sacrifices that God by His grace has helped me to make , but I'll not waste time on that.

As for positive contribution, there's a story on the front page about a church that just commissioned a road project.
