Business / Solar Panel Business / Dealership by oranto(m): 12:49pm On Mar 29, 2010 |
We are group of entrepreneurs who reside and work in UK with an interest in renewable energy and power. Presently we are working together with a manufacturer of solar panels in Holland and partnering with local charities in UK, with a mission to providing cleaner and more environmental/ health friendly source of energy in Nigeria. As a result, we would love to use this opportunity to register our interest with marketing and using solar based source of energy in mini housing projects in Nigeria. This will be done with particular emphasis on the long term advantages and health awareness of cleaner and affordable source of energy. Our primary target is as follows; Distribute Solar panels to interested dealers Work alongside real estate developers to install and maintain solar panels using our in house engineer. Customise solar panels to meet individual requirements We would love to hear from interested parties and any advice or contribution is adequately appreciated. Cheers!!! |

Hi All, Nice post. With regards to the aforementioned topic, I will drop a line or two. Having graduated with an HND ( Upper credit ) Elect/Elect in 2004, I was quick to discover the discrimination. In my case I was fortunate to leave the shores of naija to UK to further educate myself. I left during my service year. It is sad this discrimination still persists today. Presently I have used the HND certificate to my advantage. HOW ?, you might ask . I was able to do a top up to get a degree and further did an MSc. On the contrary, the so called Naija Uni graduate cannot do a top up cos he already has his degree. The best part is, I graduated with distinctions in all and have been opportuned to be interviewed by the best multinational companies here, Siemens, AXA , Capgemini amongst others The funny thing is here in the western world NOBODY recognises the Nigerian certificate. It is completely worthless. You need their own before they call you their own. The advantage I now have is that I have successfully knocked out all Naija certificates from my CV and presently I can easily study amongst the best institutions in the world. So my advice to all HNDs, never be deterred and make the best with what you have. Cheers |
Business / Doing Business In Naija by oranto(m): 11:57am On Mar 19, 2010 |
Hi all, New to nairaland and really have been impressed with how enterprising Nigerians can be. Since the banks there are just rip ups charging ridiculous aprs as much as 20%, I wanna partner with people who have solid ideas. I reside in UK and if you have the ideas to bring the dough, we could all partner and reason together to rake in the cash. Realistic ideas will be welcome and this is open to discussion, I am taking my cue from startups.co.uk. This is open to all Cheers |
