So many themes. What I love tho is the ideological battles, the shit in normal movies is just good vs evil, where good wins regardless of effort. Anime's show the life of the villain, his goals , aspirations, desires. They make him human. Its hard to hate such bad guys.
Like see doflamigo in one piece. Or the bad guy in psycho pass. Or leruch Britannia in code geares.
Awesome. Yeah you right bro. I actually learnt to look at things from other people's angle. Lelouch and Kira's(death note) death pain me gan. Even that guy in psychopass sef. Although I must say, I was surprised at the level of deep thinking/rationale that these guys pass through before making decisions and all. They have this set of strong ideals that makes me feel like I'm just ghosting through life sometimes. |

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The themes embedded in just this one anime... Let the dead stay dead. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The futility of war. "History" is rarely true. Unchecked ambition is as good as it is evil. Leadership comes with responsibility. Family and trusted friends are priceless. No matter the odds, never never EVER give up - fight with everything you have. Mehnnn preach bro...Awesome anime |

Anime. They are like cartoons. Only they are far better than any 99% of the best movies any American can make. They incorporate ideology, strategy, philosophy, science. Music. They are master pieces.
They way the Japanese merge this works into their culture is shocking. I have learned more from this works about life than I ever learned in church or from my parents. Broooooo. I had to just quote you man. I always wonder why some people don't watch anime. They see it as kids something. Buh I've learnt a lot from them. Death note, psycho pass, code geass. etc.. Some deep stuffs man. Anyways, I just say make I hail a fellow fan. 1 Like |

reDazey: For the Opportunity Fund program, I have an information that Physics and Chemistry graduates with good second class upper results and above are seriously advised to apply. You seem to know a lot about this stuff, can I pm you? |

reDazey: I will like to add on what have been said on the OF Program. On the Opportunity Fund Program for Engineering students, you guys are too many, so the hustle is real . I will suggest you score above 320 on the GRE to be considered competitive. It is strictly for students from public universities. Shuu.. ![shocked](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/shocked.gif) doubt I would apply tho, seems the GRE is compulsory and preps are not in top gear yet. Even if I do it by June, there is still the time laps before you can get your official results and that may be after June 30. @jumybecks I've sent you a pm. Sir happyday thanks for the materials. |
Education / Re: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by ORI1(m): 12:48pm On Apr 14, 2018 |
Can I pm you bro, so that I don't derail the purpose of this thread. Jumybecks: My pleasure. Yes it ought to get them before June 30th..... But I'd advise you not to rush yourself to take GRE if you have no intention of taking it before their deadline. You may want to focus well on other areas of the application - the essays are very important. |
Education / Re: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by ORI1(m): 10:21am On Apr 14, 2018 |
Thanks man. I appreciate. By the way, it says that GRE results are recommended for engineering students. Does this mean that I have to get my GRE results by the June 30 deadline? Jumybecks: The application process simulates normal grad app. You must be in dire need of the financial support and you must show it. They are using the avenue to help those that are financially incapacitated. I think you'd be required to write two essays and submit a number of documents. All the best in your application. |

Jumybecks: You are right.... OFP is a very competitive and dope something. Do you have any publication? Did you finish from a public university? I applied last year but did not make it to the final stage. Nah, no publications but I finished from Unilag. How was the application process like? Thanks guys, I have seen the GRE documents. |

Romance / Re: Nigerian Men: Know Your Worth by ORI1(m): 5:01pm On Mar 03, 2018 |
mgtow: Well, as much as I'd admit that the tone of this write up is somewhat misogynistic in nature, my brother up there has a point.
The most important part I'd love you guys to focus on is where he said you should strive to improve yourself. It works wonders for your confidence and makes you much more attractive.
Alaye double your hustle o... Owo ni koko
You don't even need to spend on them, not really. Just spend heavily on yourself. Get your own place, get a new wardrobe, designer perfume, expensive wristwatch, work out, eat well, get a car, get busy... immerse yourself in your job, hustle, whatever! Grow yourself rationally, mentally, emotionally, financially, read up, continually strive to expand your knowledge, be determined to grow. It is a very deliberate process, but I promise you that it does work wonders for your life, beyond even getting women.
A man is not truly alive until he has found his purpose in life and trust me, your purpose in life is not a woman. In fact, they are the very creatures most likely to prevent a man from reaching his full potential or attaining even a quarter of it. The job of a woman is to meet you in your period of growth, see the trajectory of where THE BOY is headed even before he can see it himself, and plot the graph of his life by helping him get there. She is a help mate. When you find your purpose as a man, your woman will find you. Not before. You think she is with you cos she loves you more than anything? She is seeing the future.
You must learn to groom yourself physically and mentally. It's not being vain, it's just you taking care of you cos that's what a grown man does. In today's world perception is everything. How people see you, the image you portray, it's very important. You wanna be the kinda guy that when you walk past, people would be inclined to look at you twice. And everybody wants to ride on the coattails of a go getter, it's intoxicating. That's why if you only hang out with successful people you are very likely to end up successful as well. It starts with the mindset and like I said, it's a deliberate process.
Listen to music, watch a movie, smoke a blunt from time to time, pack all the female friends to your side, keep all of them as friends, chat with them from time to time, try to reciprocate the calls sometimes, take em out with you when you wanna go out, occasionally dash them small change, remember 'change', and watch em love you like it's love in Tokyo looool. Of course you can't forget the charm and charisma, and also learn how to be cocky in a cute and innocent way so she can occasionally tell you 'for your miiiiiiind' cos you're being an asshole.
Once again, keep em all as friends and flirt like hell. Wetin consign you? Thank me later when they begin to fall into your trap. At all at all, some will definitely fall. You go dey run from some sef. #truestory
Always remember: Money brings bitchès, bitchès bring lies (- Tupac). Lies of how you're the best thing that has happened in her life since bread and beans. That's the bro code.
Men going their own way is a state of mind. It's believing that you don't need women, THEY NEED YOU!
I believe in the power of thought, I don't know about you. #mgtow Really felt and digested this bruh. You hit so many things bothering me with this post. Thanks a lot. #mgtow.. |

adegeye38: Have loved football ever since have known wat football was, both the technical, tactical and physical aspect. i first liked Chelsea due to their dominance in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and also due to the african players they had back then, especially didier drogba and michael essien. then i fell in love with ronaldo in 2007 then i ported to Man utd, after ronaldo Left in 2009, i knew i needed a new club, then i joined Man city because of their ambition, sheik mansour had just bought the team then, and they had players like, robinho, wright philips, tevez, adebayor and so on, v supported them ever since.
Am also a great admirer of Barcelona because of their philosophy, style of play and dominance.
