Your son who is with her would not be travelling. Please subtly expound this part and make them understand that there is no way she would leave him for that long and never to return when he is staying with her and all.
She is his main carer whilst you and I presume his other parent are not in the picture.
Provide proofs of this evidence of them living together esp. pictures but you also have to be careful so they do not think the child’s care will be abandoned since she is now coming to the Uk.
Keep her stay short on this visa form is my take- 10 days to 2 weeks and provide evidence of how she has arranged for his care to be covered while she will be away. They will not also want a situation where the child would be left unattended all for vacation and his needs would always be put first re- safeguarding.

Thank you. I intend to mention this part in her application. I have also made arrangements for him to stay with my sister temporarily for the 14-day duration and would mention that as well.

Thanks for your response

It is not advisable. It might be seen as "account padding".

Okay thank you.
It is well

If you didn’t state you were going to be sending the travel money and/or have not usually been sending money to her then you shouldn’t just do this sudden transfer at this dying moment.
You need to include her bank statement.

Thank you for your response. I have been sending money to her multiple times a month, especially because my son lives with her and she’s the one I send all his expenses to. I also send to her for personal use and highlight this in the transfer reference. And if I do send this one, I’m planning to explain it in the application
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ormohlawlah: 6:42am On Jul 22
Hi guys, is it advisable to send money to my mother’s account right before her visit visa application and explain it in her cover letter and mine? Her balance is really low and I now plan on including her bank statement even though I am fully sponsoring her.
I don’t want her to be denied because of the usual “I cannot see that these funds are available to you”

Has anybody applied without the parent’s bank statement and gotten approved in recent times?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ormohlawlah: 9:16am On Jun 30
Hello, did anyone apply for their parent’s visit visa without attaching Airbnb booking? I live in a shared house. Was anyone in a similar situation? And how did you tackle the issue of accommodation?

My mom will stay with her sister but I do not want to include my aunt in the application. I’m trying not to add too many variables

Hi guys. This may end up being a long read so I apologise in advance.
I am planning to sponsor my mom’s visit to the UK for my brother’s graduation and to visit me as well. I am acting as the sponsor because I’m on a work visa and I have been working full time longer than my brother.
Is August 1st too late to apply if the graduation is on the 9th of September?
How many months payslips + bank statements should I submit?
Is £5k balance + 2k+ monthly payslips enough if I’m fully sponsoring her visit (for 14 days)
My mom does catering (but not frequently) and subsistence farming. I am planning to exclude the catering part as she doesn’t get jobs frequently and it’s not a registered business (I want to keep the application as simple as possible). She is 61 and doesn’t do any full time work. We take care of her.
Does she need to include her bank statement at all?
My son currently lives with her (10 year old). Can he serve as home ties? My dad is late. What else can she use as home ties?
We would be able to get a letter from our church and maybe CAN and PFN (she’s an active member of both). Does this help in any way?

Sorry for the long read. Looking forward to your responses

Good evening everyone. In my CAS letter, my course end date states June…. My program is a 1 year course.
Start date is September. I thought course end date is usually one year exactly on the CAS
Has anyone experienced this?

Hello, I got admission for undergraduate studies in the UK. I have four years study gap and no work experience. Would it be better for my proof of funds to be in my account or my mom’s account?
If it’s in my account, won’t they wonder where I got such money from since I don’t have a job?
If I use my mom’s account, would I need to show more than the amount needed for my POF so they won’t wonder if she’s spending everything in her account on my education?

Some schools with feb/March intake :

Silesian university of technology
Vincent Pol university
Warsaw university of Life sciences
Częstochowska university of technology
WSEI Lublin

Keep in mind.. February/March intake in Poland is mostly masters programs . However u will find a few schools who will have a bachelors intake during that time.

There are many others but that’s a few for a start.....

Most of them will start accepting applications for Feb/March intake from next month October.

Thank you

Depending on your course of study Schools SIlesian University of Technology is still recruiting till September for resumption in October ( winter semester) . But My Advice to u is to look towards applying for February/March resumption so that you will have enough time to get a visa appointment date and apply for visa(u can start to apply for visa atleast 3 months in advance from your resumption date) . Most schools will open their applications from October for February/March resumption.

You may find schools to apply to here: https://study.gov.pl/

I haven’t been able to find enough schools that have February/March resumption.
I’ve mailed different schools and only Collegium Civitas said yes.
The others said no.
I would like to have more than one option so that’s not good enough for me.

Please if you’re on this thread and you resumed in February/March, please name your school.
It’s very important please.

I mailed University of Opole and they said it’s only October resumption they have.
Mailed AMU too but they haven’t responded.
I’ll check the third university out.
Thank you

Hi nairalander, i've been going through this thread for few days now. I want to do my masters in Canada although i'm still busy with my NYSC for now but I've not figured out which school i should apply for yet. Some one recommended York University or University of Canada west. Can i get a recommended school on here and some advice so i can start preparing for my next move.

Right now the plan is to start with the school application and process my student visa next

A reply will be very much appreciated
Thanks

I hope you know that University to Canada West is a private university and as such, it doesn't qualify you for PGWP upon graduation.

Good day guys. Is there an alternative to using my WAEC certificate? I wrote the exam last year and my certificate isn't out yet. Can I get admission into any school without the certificate?

Haha, really , this is painful O and I have paid the application fee , even they are two . Please which school accept Nigerian undergraduate without toefl and I want those whose admission application are going , please oo

Practically every school except MUN. I'm not 100% sure because I haven't checked EVERY school in Canada but I know most schools don't require Nigerians to submit any English Language test.

Hello house, well-done and may God grant our heart desire . please i want my parents last born to study in Canada, precisely memorial cos of its cheap tuition And I have already submitted her online application for undergraduate degree program in memorial University , I have sent her waec confirmation, transcript and proof of English proficiency collected from her secondary school . Please the issue I have now is that they mail me to her test of English test score of either IELTS or TOEFL , I have read from this group that , since Nigeria is considered as English spoken country. , So a letter should be issue from her secondary school to cover up the IELTS , TOEFL , which we did . Please your candid advise will be highly appreciated .

For MUN undergraduate degree, TOEFL is mandatory.
There are other schools that don't require it
