Am currently enrolled as a research student in the UK and my research explores transformation in social relation arising from changes in land condition and oil resource. My case study is Warri Southwest Local government area of Delta State, precisely the Ugborodu/Ogidigben (Escravos) axis.

I see that you have very good understanding of the Itsekiris' and would be happy if you are willing to volunteer some of your time for an interview sometime in the future. In the mean time, i will appreciate if you can share any historical details about Ogidigeben/Ugborodo or point me in the direction where i can find such details.

My research is not focused on ownership of Warri but changes in social relations between and among individuals, families and communities in Warri in relation to land and oil resource. Ownership of land may come as part of the argument but not in the manner it has been debated in Warri.
