seems you got a yeast (thrush/fungus) infection from one of the ladies. the fungus probably has spread to your stomach (you need to do upper endoscopy to confirm) and has caused gastritis (stomach inflammation). the rumbling in your stomach is likely due to the gastritis. gastritis also causes the tremors, weight loss and fatigue. fungus can also cause the fast heart beat. you need to take the antifungals (nystatin/fluconazole) for long (3-6 months) depending on the extent of the fungal overgrowth. 1 Like |

jp philips: something similar happened at GTB warri. the victim left home for gtb warri to withdraw 3m naira. it was also a female cashier that attended to him. on his drive off, another car double crossed him and the robbers calmly asked 'where's the 3m naira?' he quickly gave them the money. after some retrospection, it occurred to him that the only other person that knew he withdrew 3m naira was the cashier. he quickly stormed the bank and caused an uproar. the bank manager intervened and since he was so sure the cashier was somehow involved, they took her phone and dialled the last number on the phone. the guy at the other end thinking it was the cashier calling for her cut, quickly said sth like 'sister no shaking, your share dey wait you!' |

I have 2 friends that bank with Union bank and suffered a similar fate like the OP. for the first guy, his ATM card was cloned by the fraudster and used to purchase expensive electronic items at games/shopright. i don't know how the fraudster got his PIN but we suspect my friend may have clicked on one of those phishing emails sent by scammers. anyhow, my friend never got a kobo after reporting and following up with union bank. the bank just refused to pay and after a while my friend wrote it off as bad debt. my second friend applied for internet banking and a few days after he was given his internet banking details, his account was 'emptied' (online transfer). he said he hadn't even gotten round to logging into his account and changing the password given to him so it was apparent that it was an inside job. he also reported the matter to the bank and the bank started footdragging. he got a lawyer however and everything changed. the lawyer wrote to the bank (i think to their internal control dept) threatening to sue the bank to court if the bank didnt refund his clients monies withing seven (i think) days. i think the very next day after the letter was sent out, the bank called my guy apologising for the whole ordeal and paid back his monies to the last kobo. moral of the story: OP get a lawyer to write the bank threatening to sue them. like someone mentioned, banks don't like negative publicity. they'll do all they can to avoid such a smear. |

Hello Pips, Please could anyone tell me where I can get branded t-shirts like Element and Voltron in Lagos? I am a huge fan of Element tees - I bought some when I was in SA but can't seem to find any in Lagos. I thank you. |

The criteria the ranking body used was based on performance of clubs emanating from the different leagues, not on organisation nor history nor finances . Based on performance, they are arguably right. Let's look at the facts. The CAF Champions League is the biggest football competition in Africa so obviously the focus lies therein. Nigeria is the only country besides Sudan with 2 clubs in the quarter finals of the competition - Kano Pillars and Heartland FC. Kano Pillars currently top their group and have remained unbeaten all through the competition - they even eliminated the defending champions on their way into the group stage. Kano Pillars remains the only unbeaten side in the competition. Heartland FC is also doing well in their group - they beat their last opponents 3-1. So, on current form, Nigeria is numero-uno in the CAF competition. Clubsides from countries like Egypt, Morroco, Algeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast have all fallen during the knockout stage. Tunisia remains the only North African side with a club in the group stages. |

Amaka, I thank You o! You are a God-send. But seriously, have you considered publishing a cookbook of nigerian recipe's? You seem to have a passion for cooking. You know virtually everything about nigerian menus - even nuances like the number of minutes to cook old beans vs new beans! I bow to you o, Should you decide to publish, I'll buy the very first copy - whatever the price. ![]() |

Please do it jo! I think some respondents here are trying to take the moral highground without any attempts at being pragmatic. Common, the lady mentioned her family is passing through some financial challenges. You don't need a soothsayer to paint a picture on how hard it is to get a worthwhile job in our environment. This is no jand or yankee where with the right qualifications, getting a job is relatively easier. They say a bird in hand is worth more than a zillion in the bush. This might just be her opportunity to improve her family's financial condition. I'll suggest you take the job and still be on the lookout for job openings in abuja. Getting any job - irrespective of appellation - in an oil/gas company no be beans. Just keep your eyes peeled for openings in abuja. Who knows, you might even be able to work out a transfer to abuja if you play your balls right. I'll say, if your husband is supportive of the move, do it. You can then leverage on that to get a job nearer home. Just my 2 cents there. |

@Bulga september presages change (such as from summer to autumn). it's also synonimous with sweetness (that's why you hear the catchy phrase, 'sweet september'.) nevermind that muti called osama. |

@topic, I have always fancied evocative names. How about: Tangerine True Colors Colors Dreams Stylez Magic Interiors Venus Spring Interior Designs Passion Interiors September Images Hallmark Interiors Surreal Interiors Imagine! Secrets Deluxe Interiors Classy Interiors Panache , etc or you could keep it simple, and use your first name, i.e. <ur name> Interior Designs or you could do me a favour and use moi, Sagie Interior Designs, hey, that's not bad. lol. 1 Like |
