Edufresh:

NEED A US VISA
US Visa appointment fees are now payable at designated UBA Business Offices nationwide following the introduction of a new Visa Appointment Booking system by the US Embassy in collaboration with VFS Global Services.

What you need to know

Q: How much do I need to pay for a US Visa Appointment?
A: Only N3, 500 per applicant.

Is the Visa appointment fee the same as the Visa application fee?
NO. The Visa application fee is separate from the appointment fee.

How do I make payment?
Payment can be made by cash or UBA Cheque at designated UBA Business Offices nationwide.

Can I pay the Visa application fee and the appointment fee at the same time?
Yes it is highly recommended that you pay both fees at the same time. Simply fill out two separate deposit slips or separate UBA Cheques.

Do I need to bring my international passport to pay for my Visa appointment?
You are required to present your international passport or a clear copy of the bio-data page to process the payment.

Do I get receipt after making payment?
A receipt will be issued to with a seven digit unique receipt number valid for booking your appointment.

Do I make only one payment of N3, 500 for my whole family?
No, you have to pay and book separate appointment for each individual member of the family.

If I change my mind about applying for a US Visa, can I get my Visa appointment fee refunded?
The Visa Appointment fee is ‘Non Refundable’ and Non Transferable’.

How do I book my appointment?
Visit the website www.usa-vfsglobal-ng.com and make your booking using the unique number on the receipt issued at the point of payment.

However, many people keep complaining of missing the appointments for which they require the US Visa in the first place because of late appointment date offered to them by the US Embassy. Of course this is because of over estimated number of 20,000 Nigerians queuing in the US Embassy to obtain a US Visa appointment.

Call Austin on 08034345598 For your US Visa Appointment

MR Man,please get your self out of this blog!!!!, We donot need people like you with confusing information in here.

And as far as I can see,you are a fraudster!!!

, For your information the new VSF Payment is done only and only thru GTBANK.

Also the website to apply through is www.usatraveldocs.com,there is also nothing like a N3,500 Appointment fee. as you claimed, you bloody liar.

People in this Forum are honest and intelligent people who can research and apply on their own.

And if you need to know,I just got my student visa today and without the help of fraudsters like you!!!

OjaP:

@ Shewhy,i have been very busy with school and have not been here most times BUT your post caught my attention and it's a pity nairalanders who answered your questions haven't told you the right thing to do.My questions are as follows.
1. How do you know you answered all the questions correctly, you want the house to advise you and you never told us what they asked you? So,what advise do you expect us to give?

2.What gave you the impression that you didn't make the same mistake you made the very first time?

My advise;
As the norms in this thread, why can't you post the questions the consular asked you on here and let the gurus tell you where the fault is?I laughed when you said you answered all the questions correctly. You can never be a judge in your own case bro.In a nutshell, post your experience with the consular, the docs you took along with you, standardised tests you took and let us know the name of the school, course and who your sponsor is.Not compulsory you do this but that is just my advise for you.GOODLUCK.(Not Goodluck Ebele Jonathan oo), lol.Though, still GEJ for President.

Thank you OjaP
This is by far the Best reply so far!!!

Please Shewhy, just act promptly as OjaP has advised,There is a possibility that you weren't answering certain questions correctly
or may be you presented wrong documentations, just let the house into the entirety of the interview sessions
and I am uber sure you will get a green light this time!

Secondly,OjaP,please,is it possible to transfer or change universities immediately one enters the US without prior attendance @ the former
university or without making any semester tuition payment @ the former university,if one seems to have found another university with
a lower cost of tuition and a better environment!? What do you advise?

Thank you!

What the VO is looking for is evidence you are coming back to Nigeria, and that is the only question nobody will ask you

Please how do you mean?

Oga Chux,
Why u come dey xpose your guy yansh 4 public like this naah?

Well, there are still contingencies to my traveling but the 1 - 20 came as a surprise to me which is why I have resolved
to defer till summer so as to ameliorate certain challenges.

Thank you though for the prompt,it's well appreciated.

I was thinking that the SEVIS fee is attached an I- 20 such that a new I -20 will require another SEVIS payment.

Thanks for the clarification.

We'll talk better on Spark!!!

Hello Guys,

Great to be on this very insightful and enlightening Thread.

I got my 1-20 and Admission Pack for Spring 2011 Semester from Northeastern State University,Oklahoma yesterday.

Please,I just require quick clarification on two teething issues.

Foremost, for personal reasons i intend deferring the admission to Summer 2011;should I inform the school first
about my intentions so they can issue a corresponding 1-20 or should I just schedule an appointment with the Embassy as planned,
then when i get the Visa I tell the school to get me deferred to Summer 2011.

Secondly,as suggested by Peedeepee as regards scheduling an expedited Visa Appointment,if I am rescheduled for an earlier
date,go for the interview and eventually get the visa then decide to defer my studies to Summer 2011 will I be required to pay a new
SEVIS fees if I am issued a new 1-20 for the Summer semester.

Please any informative comment will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thanks Ifele,
Same here!
Really? Can't wait to be there.

I read some recent rescent journal yesterday on decline in Pilots Jobs round the world and cut in Pilots Salaries.Don't know how true they are but I believe that should not deter us from our dreams.

All the best.

Hi Fellas,

Although, this happens to be my first comment,I have been tenaciously following this thread from the very beginning, and I want to give a very big Thumb up to everybody, you guys have been most insightfull.

RDV,we have really missed you.We need more people like you to help keep the Hopes of some of us alive and I must say you have help re-ignite and rekindle the burning flames in many of us.Thank you sir!

As it is though,am I still presently an undergraduate of the University Of Lagos, but,I have a very good resourcery as Regards Phoenix East Aviation in Pearl Habor Drive,Daytona Beach ,Florida.

I just received a very colorful and information-packed admission package from the school last week and I must tell you guys,Phoenix is one of the best places you can acquire your wings.

Phoenix East Aviation (PEA), Inc. is an approved FAA Part 141 & 61 flight school that has self-examining authority. What this means to you is that not only does the FAA approve our training syllabus but they put their stamp of approval on PEA as a school. Additionally, their employees give you the FAA flight exam there in the school. The FAA evaluates and reevaluates the employees to make sure the flight exams meet their standards. In the end, this saves you time and money. Additionally, they are one of the few schools in the United States to have special FAA approval on a Commercial "train to proficiency" course. Again, the FAA has given them their stamp of approval for this special course designed to save you time and money.

Also, the school is relative cheap such that with $54,190 you get your Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine pilot training and Flight Instructor courses, interestingly, international students are now been assisted to seek loans from SLM Financials based on a lending agreement with the school although you must have a US Co-signer,and I must tell you this may be a bit competitive but achievable(Afterral, nothing good comes easy).

And most importantly, you are assured employment as a flight instructor after your training, because,Phoenix East Aviation is also authorized by the US Department of Homeland Security to offer the F-1 Visa. In this program, a student completes the Professional Pilot Training Program, which begins with zero flight experience and progresses to a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-engine Ratings; training then continues to Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Ratings. Upon successful completion of the program, students may interview for a position as a flight instructor, and upon acceptance, may become paid employees of PEA, gaining practical flight experience toward the ATP license.

To me this is a good opprtunity to acquire @ least 1500 flight hours required to get your ATPL,before you can apply to any Airlines as a FO, (First Officer).

And BOOM, ELDORADO!

IFELE and everybody, I wish you guys the very best,by God's help,I would be in Phoenix too immediately after my degree in Unilag in a couple of years from now.

In the interim,I will be honoured to assist with as much information as I have @ my disposal.

Thanks.

RDV,you will always remain my Mentor for life!!!
