About this oshimen saga.

My take is Oshimen shot himself in the foot by commiting to another contract with huge release clause because of a pay rise.
And now that he is deemed surplus to requirement he should be realistic with himself because he is not the player he think he is, that is explained by the fact that he was made available from the first day of the transfer window and no serious suitor till the last week of the window.

Chelsea are skeptical about him because of his injury records and his adaptation to possession football (that explains why PSG also moved past him despite big injury to one of their striker) hence the reason for the loan enquiry and not permanent transfer.

If Chelsea were to offer him permanent transfer then he has to reduce his wages, so that it will be easy to move him on if he fail to adapt because him earning over 200k weekly after tax in Italy and wanting to keep that in UK will cost any team in England close to 450k before tax, a commitment I don't think any England team is ready to do right now (explain why arsenal didn't pursue the deal).

My major problem is transportation cost, farm is far so I buy the closest shop to my place because going to major suppliers will cost me additional cost of like 5k. And I contact a seller on jiji that listed it for 8500 he said he can't deliver because I'm not buying more than 5 he can only deliver a carton.

And about the labourer you are at the mercy of those nearby village because it will be so costly and difficult to bring labourer from far away village. My brother also have a farm and the labourers charge him #60 per yam ridges and they charge us double here. But you can't bring them here the cost of transportation, where will they sleep?, and even after that they can't have abundance of time to travel with you.

It's so hard here.

It's two different comments.

Let me explain the two comments in sync.

Going into farming I plan to cultivate 10 acres of land and plant maize and cassava but when the expenses was too much I have to reduce it to 5.
When I want to clear the 5 acres I was unable to get labourer so I arrange 10 boys from the city and I was paying them 2500 per day and they work for 6 days. After that tractor plough the land for 40k per acre, so I have planted maize remaining cassava next month on that same land.

So at the edge of the farm their is a free land with small trees like half acre, so I decided to clear and plant yam so I call the labourer in the nearby village to help clear the land and make ridges and they call me this morning to tell me 80k for clearing and 140k for the ridges.
I told them to leave it, I don't have money to do it.

Baba let me chip in on the farm stuff.

I decided to farm this year; the cost of farming now is absolutely neck bending, I went in with the intention of cultivating 10 acres of land, when I see the cost I reduced it to 5 and that 5 have consumed 500k and counting.

The locals there were seriously struggling, some even have to abandon farming and went to biking (okada) because they can't afford the cost of farming.
Just one sachet of altracine is now 11k.

All those people you saw want to farm but can't afford the cost.
