it is not opportunism when Awo played the tribal card at the eve of the commencement of western Nigeria parliament, which would have made Zik premier but overnight his Yoruba ncnc members cross carpeted to AG...............treachery and Yoruba na bedmates nah! Awo invited ZIK's NCNC to form a government for 1960 in the morning, while ZIK was considering the offer...same Awo flew to Kaduna same day to meet amadu Bello with the same offer for NPC............na person wey no know yoruba you go fly that kite for o! Gowon governed with admiral wey........... Murtala ruled with obj, Abacha ruled with Diya ............ Buhari is misruling with osunbande...............the failure that is NIGERIA has Yoruba and Fulani signature all over it!
.
So Zik from onithsha wanted to be first premier of western region because all the other NCNC members from the west are too dumb to be premier. Can only make sense to greedy fraudulent Igbos.

Why won't they dump him? Zik was a poor politician just like his offsprings today.

The Biafran expeditionary task force was set up to clear Fulani federal forces from Lagos but Awo chose to follow the easy path and join forces to beat your own brothers, who were already fighting the north and Britain and their useless Ijaw boy boys..........Yorubas chose the easiest path during the war, Afenifere also chose the easiest path by allowing elections in 1999 before a proper constitutional conference.........now Tinubu and his Yoruba allies have chosen the easiest once again by going for the presidency themselves instead of supporting and even influencing the election of an Igbo person....................politics of opportunism is the bane of Yoruba political elite, at the end of the day nobody moves forward, the sacrifices Ndigbo are ready to make for self-determination and progress for all Nigerians, Yorubas cannot make them and unwilling to make them!

It is not opportunism when Zik aligned. With North in 1960 and 1965, or Ekwueme in 1979 and 1983, Sylvester Ugoh in 1993 even Peter Obi in 2019.

@Landmack,

You should blame security agents who were killing innocent civilians in the East just to get people like you blame IPOB members.

Unfortunately, you fell for their game. The soldiers are protecting civilians in the North East/West from Boko Haram who also are killing soldiers. In the East, the soldiers are killing innocent civilians to avenge unknown gunmen killing who are only fighting back due to soldiers killing of unarmed Igbo youths who were merely protesting for Biafra.

Security agents are fronting as unknown gunmen to avenge the killing of unarmed Igbo youths by same security forces to frame Ipob, are you not confused like this?

When someone wants to be fraudulent he will soon start saying rubbish.

So when you hail unknown gunmen on ibo streets, it's actually Fulani operatives you're hailing?

All members of Lagos State house of Assembly are TouTs. The worst speaker in SW is Mudashiru Obasa a confirmed Thug. The late Senator Osinowo cannot make a complete sentence in good English but he was a senator courtesy Tinubu. The Oluremi Thug is there. Touts everywhere on the street of Lagos. Sending out thugs to destroy votes in PDP strongholds during Atiku buhari elections. Osun Formula, replicated in Kano, Bullion Van ... I can go on and on. Tinubu is the worst thing that has happened to this country in modern history because without Tinubu we could not have had Buhari.

Late Senator Osinowo is likely more educated than 98% of the people in your lineage and i will leave it at that.
Most of those thugs in Lagos are from all over Nigeria and the rules of citizenship makes it difficult to deport them to their states of origin.
You even blame Tinubu for the outcome of the elections in Kano, that means he will be more than a president over you, he will be a kind of god to you.

Still talking rubbish and giving unreasonable excuses. Does Lagos share its IGR with other states too? Is Lagos not getting allocations from oil revenue even when it does not produce oil? Is Lagos not enjoying oil MNC tax even when their operations are in Niger Delta? So whatever you think Lagos gives out, it gets in return from other places in Nigeria!!

I once lived in Lagos years back and couldn't stand the hobbesian nature of life there and I moved out.

That's how you guys keep decieving yourselves, Lagos should never use other states in Nigeria to benchmark itself because that's stupidity. Lagos should be benchmarking itself against its mates like Johannesburg, Nairobi, Cairo etc and those cities are advancing fast while Lagos keeps comparing itself with other states in Nigeria and be bragging with mediocrity.

I'm really ashamed of you all supporting a character like Tinubu to rule Nigeria, it shows how messed up your mindset is.

The mayor or governor of Johannesburg or Cairo are not in contention to be Nigeria's president, the fact is no other sub-national leader has taken revenue increase for their state from the level they met it to where they left it the way Tinubu did in his time. In the case of Lagos, Tinubu met 600m monthly IGR and took it to 15bn monthly within 8 years over 2000% increase. Which other leader contending for president in 2023 has such a record of public service? Which other leader in that 1999-2007 set had such record? How many percentage increase in FG revenue happened under Obasanjo in 8 years?
Almost every other state came to copy from Lagos theor own version of LASTMA, LAMATA, LIRS, LAWMA etc and may other deveopment agencies Tinubu founded to run Lagos. Why did those who ran Lagos before Tinubu not make Lagos far more livable than Johannesburg, Cairo, Cape Town? Where are the Metro, railway, Hospital, World class schools they built before Tinubu spent 8 years?

Where did the other contenders for president in 2023 turn to Dubai, Johannesburg, etc when they held executive power? What are there records in their place of work or business that beats what Tinubu has achieved?

You haven't learnt your lessons over the years.....

On your point 1: Visit the link below and stop being adamant about propagating falsehoods...

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/10/19/africa/lekki-toll-gate-shooting-one-year-intl-cmd/index.html

Point 2: Only an idiot will read my post and alleged I said the 99 bodies were recovered from Lekki toll gate. .. There were loads of extrajudicial killings from the Policemen during the #Endsars period, and those bodies will naturally be dumped in the morge. No ? ..Could you please highlight where you got your misleading agenda from?

Point 3. I will concede this point 3 to you since the link you mentioned provided info that there were no gunshot wounds to the 3 Lekki victims. I believe in expert reportage and superior argument with facts than political sentiments.

I see you are convenient with some truth/facts from the Lagos Panel but chose to discard those not favorable to your agenda.....

There is no doubt deaths occured all over Lagos or would anyone expect 30 policemen to be killed without them attempting to fight and defend their lives? There were also numerous deaths caused by hoodlums and robbers attempting to steal or burgle. There is also likely to be extra judicial killings during the days of madness and rioting. But I doubt if the panel was able to really prove the circumstances any of these killings by security forces. Neither was anyone indicted for the killing of policemen during the rioting as if they're not human.

The assertions are the LTG killings claimed by the report is not proven beyond doubt. Some names even had no surnames, just firstnames, who told the panel their first names but no surnames?
I can see any corpse and say this is Wisdom, what does that prove?

1. You are not all that clever at all, in fact you are not, no need to dodge my question as expected, you said there have been countless expose of victims' families giving their reports and I asked you to show us just one.

You remember I said you won't show us anything because you lied, well, you proved me right, you lied.

2. Even this rubbish and deception you posted about 99 bodies is fake and misinformation, they pick up bodies all over Lagos every day, including during the protest, the bodies you are talking about were collected from all over Lagos state, not from Lekki, unless you are going to take your own lie a little further ahead of the panel and assert that 99 bodies came from Lekki, many times more than the number given by the panel. You see how you and your kind get ahead of yourselves with your lies?

3. The story and the link you posted said 99 bodies deposited at Lagos morgue, three from Lekki tollgate so who are you trying to fool as if the 99 bodies came from Lekki when in fact only 3 came from Lekki according to the pathologist and your own link, you obviously did not read your own story before posting.

According to the pathologist, the 3 bodies came from LTG, also according to the head of the panel, no bullets or pellets were found on any of the 3 corpses.

You are lying either because you think I'm dumb or, you are a liar and a dishonest person or you just haven't read anything about this panel and you are just doing follow follow bandwagon with den say den say instead of educating yourselves about this proceedings.

So when did the 3 bodies picked at Lekki turn to 8 or whatever, and how were they tied to soldiers shooting when there were no bullets? Did the soldiers club the 3 to death?

These una endsars children will start cursing anyone asking these questions, you guys really did a bad job raising them.

Most sane folks will rather believe the report of an independent panel than government agents. If you were truthful, there have been countless expose of victims' families giving their reports...

There are loads of unidentified bodies from the #Endsars protest in various morgues in lagos State. Will you also question those expert reports on their source of identity?

We have now moved from where are the bodies to where are the family members... That is progress..

Even corpses identified are still presumed dead? Do you know presume means inadequate evidence? Or corpse not even seen?

Are there family embers/relatives to certify that this person existed and was killed?

Who pronounced him dead and who signed the death certificate?

Is it only in Nigeria where you are able to pronounce people dead without showing their identity, autopsy and death certificate, no family member identification, nothing at all, just word of mouth by some panel?

So far, these are all made up names and made up death.

This is just too sad and atrocious.

The panel even listed names of presumed dead as facts and added them to the tally.
What is presumed dead?

You didn't deny Fulanis presidency because of herdsmen killings. You didn't deny SS because of bunkering and militancy. But you want to deny Igbos presidency because some Igbos who are fed up with Nigeria want out. Anyways, it's up to them, this is probably their last chance to decide if truly they want Igbos to share a country with them.

Igbo have billions of dollars worth of assets all over of Nigeria and for them to put that aside to fight agitate for break up shows the extent they've been frustrated in Nigeria.

Black people naturally tend to be unreasonable when it matters most, and those in Nigeria are worse off.

Denying Igbos the presidency will give IPOB the critical mass they need to achieve Biafra, underrate them at your own peril.

If you love Nigeria, you must support Igbo presidency now!

Fulani was not handed the presidency, they formed alliances, contested and won power. It will not be different for Ibo, they should learn to align and contest for power, they will wait forever for somebody to hand it over to one of them
