WAOO! Quite a piece of write-up. Nice one .Tinubu name should have been number one on the list .He is the master mind behind Buhari emerging as the presidential candidate. He is the reason why Nigeria is in this present situation becos of his ambition..God will purnish him for this wicked act ...He will see the seat of power but he never seat on it .For it will be justice for those that have died as a result of this failure he brought onboard to rule Nigeria, knowing fully well that he is a sadistic bigot and a nepotistic leader .It shall never be well with that wicked man called Tinubu .

But you will still queue to vote Atiku, Saraki or Tambuwal also on the nonsense list? And anyone not on the phantom list is a messiah to you. Thats how you lock yourself to nonsense

The world is global now, it's a lot different from 1970.. you want to know the truth, you may find it offensive, but SW cant get presidency in 2023, even the APC wont field it. Major political parties would want a SE in that equation while you cant have two southern region. because keeping Nigeria together is a greater focus while the last thing the country needs now is a justifiable spark..

You may not agree with my assertions, but if you are deeply invested in Nigeria, you wont even vote a SW candidate as a SW person, talk more one whom is not generally accepted..

You'd be shocked even core SS people don't trust SE or will even vote any SE candidate as president. They know SE will seek revenge and start taking their land and oil wells by force if they get power. They know they will be the biggest losers of a SE presidency.

They only tag along politically as far as SE ego can stretch but at the most critical point they will never vote SE as president.

A little opinion insight of Nigeria after 2023 without a SE president or VP.. I wish and pray I would have completed my migration. Nigeria cant survive another region wholly going rogue..

- The Ipob agenda might blow through the roof, making Nnamdi kanu extremely popular internationally as the spite on fence sitting Igbos whom are majority today would be rubbed on their faces..

- Killings and assassinations of public officers might erupt in the region with little or no empathy from the masses in same region..

- IGR in the region would almost zero out and mechanisms of FG extraction of funds might greatly collapse..

- The military might be greatly stretched with officers seeking not to be transfered there with dusk to dawn curfew in place that would attract massive public outcry as the day goes..

- Large protests, international audience and clamour would erupt massively, putting Nigeria on the limelight like never before..

- Commerce and foreign investments would drop massively as fear of the balkanization of the country would be at its highest..

- there would be a rush to fix the SE in other positions in the country, but it would make little or no effect as fear and panic would grip even the proposed candidates..

- Succession agitations might erupt in the South south and clamour for resource control from various regions would be rife all hiding under the block of inequality and justice..

- There would be a lot of avoidable deaths, poverty, strife, insecurity, banditry and kidnapping would be full blown and seen as norm..

- At a point, other regions would push for the consideration of rapid constitution amendment for restructuring as Biafra would be a very tough nut to crack.

All in all, the SE would suffer greatly, but would see it as a justifiable cause.

It's okay for as long as you confine your madness to your region while others move on with their lives as in 1967-70.

Metrix147:
Facts have emerged that some North American countries are mounting pressure on the Nigerian government to have a South Easterner take over power at the expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in 2023.

A reliable source was quoted to have said that the Canadian and United States of America Intelligence Agencies are leading the negotiations to for an Igbo son to occupy the number one office in the country.

Recall that the people of the Southeast region of the country which boasts of estimated population of over 60 million and one of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria is yet to produce the country's democratically elected President since 1960.

Agitations arising from alleged marginalization had continued in the region since the Nigerian civil war ended in 1970.

The agitations have led to the formation of different secessionist movement with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) the most prominent.

According to the source, the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken was the arrowhead of the negotiation. The source hinted that North America being a strong ally of Nigeria was worried with the recent security crisis ravaging the nation.

”Anthony Blinken had during his last visit to President Muhammadu Buhari told him that for the interest of peace and stability of Nigeria, he should hand over to someone from the South-East or South-South. He however pointed that since South-South has presided over the country’s affairs for six years, he should narrow his search to South East. He mentioned that the President must see someone who has capacity to hold the nation together. He told the President that an Igbo President would help to stabilise the nation and dust the tension created by successionist agitation.

Speaking further, the source said ”Nigeria is anchored, metaphorically, on a tripod formed by Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba, and Igbo nationalities, with each representing one of the three legs on which Nigeria stands.

“These intelligence agencies are working hard to convince President Muhammadu Buhari to hand over to someone who is knowledgeable about economy and acceptable to all from the other regions ,” the source said.

You call them ingrates yet you have never protested your senators and house of reps members who collect hundreds of thousands as hazard allowance for just warming the seats in the assembly complex. This is why I always say that Nigerians deserve the hardships they're going through now and even more! People who are exposed to serious hazards on a daily basis are protesting against allocation of chicken feeeds to them as hazard allowance and you shout them down as ingrates, while people who do not face any form of hazard but get millions as hazard allowance for just warming a bench are not protested against or insulted as ingrates. There is really a fundamental problem with Nigerians, seriously!

Competent past governments payed the doctors 5k hazard allowance while paying legislators millions.
Now this bad govt increased it to 40k and the response is to reject it.

When last have you visited a hospital. Let insiders tell you how many doctors have left the hospitals for abroad.

Their rejecting should be meant with further negotiation. Unless you are a doctor then you can understand them. HE who wears the shoe knows where it hurts.

This is a good one from FG but it must not stop there. And doctors please please please save more lives

In UK you will pay up to £120 into NHS every month from your minimum whether you fall I'll or not. That's where the high salary of medical practioners come from.

NHS rakes in £214bn every year which is 10 times Nigeria annual budget. But you expect our health system that hardly gets $2bn funding to half as good as UK system. If you hear that govt hospital fees has increased now you will start making noise.

For you to say that medical school is almost free in Nigeria simply means schooling in Nigeria no matter the course is free.. because medicine is actually the most expensive course to study in Nigeria, and lets not forget the number of years people spend in med school these days.. imagine spending a whole 6-9 years of your life reading book.. imagine going for clinics between 8-1pm.. then going for classes 2-5pm, then coming back for night calls by 6-till you're done.. then in all, you will still try and figure in times to read your gigantic textbooks.. one nelson pediatric textbook in medicine is more than the combined textbooks of some 4years courses.. then after all the stress, insults, unnecessary expectations,,, you will still expect someone to be earning 5k as hazard allowance.. you try oo.. God bless you

You mean they didn't know the hazard allowance was 5k before they accepted the job from govt hospital? The private hospitals is an option why not go there?

Stop reading useless blogsites!! Y'all won't listen, see your lives now, spewing rubbish all around....
Firstly, medical school has never been free or "almost free" in Nigeria.... As far as all the public universities in Nigeria is concerned, they are the ones who pay the highest school fees among all faculties and departments in universities....
Moreso, as far as Nigeria is concerned, the only risk lawmakers are facing is from fellow evil-minded politicians, doctors are exposed to communicable diseases daily, in fact medical practitioners are all exposed to several diseases, they live with the risk of death daily. The allowances paid to lawmakers can never be justified by the useless stealing job they are doing. How people are paid newspaper allowance of over 1m, newspaper that they are supposed to read regardless of being paid for it or not!
Medical practitioners are not part of the highest paid anything in Nigeria, in fact they are underpaid in Nigeria, because how can a surgeon be struggling to collect #1m salary after studying for over 14 years while their counterparts all over the world collect more than 10x the amount monthly....
Mind you, we haven't even discussed that lack of facilities on these practitioners part, non- enabling environment and irregular payment of salaries....
We have a lot of work to do in and on Nigeria

Why are you scared to mention the medical fees you claim is high in nigerian govt school side by side with medical school fees in USA UK.

Since we are comparing 10x salaries can we also compare the school fees too?
Who is picking the bills for Nigerian school relative low fees

From what u have written, u haven't said anything that helps us understand the justification of legislators high pay compared to that of doctors. All u are saying is that legislators are adhoc and doctors are permanent. Can u pls explain how this justifies the huge pay of legislators as compared to doctors?

U also asked: "do u know how much these lawmakers spent to be there?"

We don't no. Kindly tell us and explain how it justifies their huge pay.

Also u asked: "Can they do what ppl at the national assembly do..?"

Pls what are the things people at the national assembly are doing that u feel can't be done by others hence their huge pay?

Where do you expect the huge allowances to come from? Are you contributing anything meaningful to a health insurance fund like in UK?

There are less than 500 legislators and about 50,000 doctors and 200,000 nurses in govt employment, and you expect them to collect payment like the politicians? Why are private hospitals who collect huge bills from patients not paying the doctors and nurses better than govt owned hospitals?
How do you pay better from the chicken feed charged at govt hospitals?

Even if you share the entire budget including salary, allowances, running cost and overhead of NASS to all medical staff of govt it's barely up to 40,000 monthly for each of them.

I've never dropped any message under the comments of any northerners here before buh you have to be the first and the reason is that you're educated and also got some reasonable mind.
I have to correct that your wrong impression of trying to pin Nigeria as a Muslim country or trying to say about Muslim been in majority, please don't say what you don't know.(psychological blackmail)
Another one is praising of shiek gumi, you shouldn't dive into that angle because it will make all these your analysis looks stupid.
Everything you said here apart from the aforementioned corrected ones are all truth buh it surprises me how people fails to understand all these or they know buh keep on deceiving themselves....I said before that Northerners will never allow Tinubu or even Osibanjo(Tinubu by proxy) to become president and if at all they prefer south west, they will rather pick nobody from Tinubu's camp because they're afraid of a powerful southerner and if Tinubu is very powerful as an ordinary citizen, how could he be when he becomes the president and northerners wouldn't want anybody to control them.
The truth is that Northerners knows that it's South Easterners time for the presidency buh they want to capitalise on South Westerner's selfishness and greediness to hang onto power in 2023 and the reason PDP still pipe low is because they're waiting if South West will concede the highest office to the South East and once the south west supports the south east for presidency, believe me,the PDP will zone their ticket to south east immediately buh if they(south west) refuses to do just that, then the PDP will present a northern candidate and it's gonna be win win for the north....
The earlier the south wakes up,the better for them or the north continues, which is likely to be so... Garcias!!!!

Hogwash, what stops the north from grabbing power via PDP once APC selects a SE candidate? You really think power is served alacarte or on basis of sentiment?
Politics / Re: It Appears The Next President Of Nigeria Will Come From South West by Ovamboland(m): 9:53pm On Dec 24, 2021
NaijirianKing:
The issue is that the election is not between the SW and the SE, but between the SW and the NE, or potentially, but less likely the NC.

The North is not making noise because at the end of the day, the North holds the yam and the knife as the southerners say.
Shehu Sani tried to give Jagaban some insight as to what will befall him, a word is enough for the wise. If Tinubu really wanted to be in power he should sponsor a Northerner and use him as a proxy against the North, the same way the SE is sponsoring a Northerner in Atiku to take power, but the SW is acting as if the North will leave a Northerner and vote him... this is a key flaw in his reasoning.

Following speculations that Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be running for the presidency in 2023, Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has warned him against trusting northern politicians.

Sani warned that Northern politicians may sabotage Tinubu’s presidential ambition as they did to MKO Abiola.

The former lawmaker who spoke in Osogbo, Osun State capital, said Tinubu should learn from the story of Abiola, who the Northern elites conspired against.

He said: “Well, the person of Asiwaju is the one I know in the field of struggle. We worked together for MKO’s project and for the resistance against the annulment.

“I know him personally. But what I tweeted is more of a Biblical/Shakespearian allegory or whatever one can use in sending a message to someone and what I am trying to say is that as he is allegedly moving towards contesting for the presidency, he should try to know the actual feeling on the ground as far as the North is concerned because I know what Abiola went through.

“Abiola served the North more than any other businessman from the western part of Nigeria. He printed the Quran and shared it with many Muslims. But how did he end up? They (northerners) conspired against him and sabotaged him and at the end of the day, he was gone.”

https://www.nigerianeye.com/2021/04/2023-shehu-sani-warns-tinubu-against.html

The flaw in your thinking is that you completely discount history in arriving at your main reference point.

History shows the following southern politicians have defeated strong northern politician in presidential elections:
MKO Abiola
Olusegun Obasanjo
Goodluck Jonathan

How many se and SS people are so driven by alleged revenge that they will desire to allow northern region rule the country for 16 unbroken years? It will shock you to the marrow, those of you banking on hate and revenge as a political strategy
