naijamanyoutube:
I was in Manchester for 2 weeks as my first stop on my Europe tour, I plan to visit over 20 European countries on this tour.

I stayed with my sister and her family in Manchester, I was treated like a king with so many delicious Nigerian food.

I took pictures of some of them and here they are. These food might look like no big deal to many on here, but it is for me, since I don’t know how to cook and I live in Las Vegas where it’s very expensive to eat Nigerian food at a restaurant.

I’m in Edinburgh, Scotland at the moment, will make my way to Glasgow, Scotland tomorrow, and then board a bus that will take me to Northern Ireland. The bus will drive onto a Ferry to cross the Irish Sea. I will stay one day in Belfast and then jump on a train to places I don’t know yet, but I have to be at the airport in Dublin on Monday the 23rd of October to catch a flight to London, where I will stay with Dj Douglas for 1 week. He’s is a childhood friend of mine. He’s the one who taught Dj Neptune how to Dj. The last time I saw Douglas face to face was back in December 2005, when he went to the airport with me when I was traveling to Amsterdam from Lagos, on vacation. Before I got back to Lagos in January of 2006, Douglas don japa go London. Lol

He’s established now with a wife and kids.

I will post more as I go about my journey. Stay tuned.

i never beg on this forum before. i felt like doing it several times but i changed my mind before doing it, because i know begging make one lazy and unproductive, but here i am doing it because i think its my last option. a drug was prescribed for my since november but i still havent got it because the street has not been gentle since that time. i tried and tried but couldnt raise the money and the sickness is dealing with me i really need to buy it. its an ulcer medicine called "pyrexcombi" i asked in the pharmacy its worth 5k and the only money i managed to raise since nov is 2k. the little i got from the menial jobs i do i use it for food. i know there is a lots of guys here on nairaland that are bigger than 5k all i am beggin for is the remaining 3k to buy that med. I SWEAR TO ALMIGHTY GOD WHO CREATED ME AND YOU THAT I AM NOT A SCAMMER AND I AM NOT LYING. help me if you can do it and god will bless you. i need only 3k from one, two or three people. i will show a proof when i bought the med. pls help me out guys.
Politics / We The Zombidients And Zombidiots: This Is Our Story by Owiz22: 2:28pm On Sep 19, 2022
They say we are rude, uncultured and without class. That we drown civil discourse with incoherent noise and troubling fanatism. We have been relegated to the rear of “real” political discourse and have been likened to discordant tunes or clanging cymbals. They ask for respect, civility and graciousness. They say we are disorganised, disunited and lacking in focus. They say our collective hopes and aspirations for 2023 are nothing but a fleeting dream or a castle in the sky; after all, “who knows Peter Obi in the north?”. However, to dismiss the Peter Obi counterculture as mere political ineptitude propagated by unruly youths, is to fundamentally misjudge what we are and the severity of our trauma. This is our story:

We are those pesky millennials and generation Z: The same ones who have hardly ever gone 24 hours without the lights going off. The ones who see public utilities as an abstract concept spoken about only in books or on TV. We are the people that believe that tap water can only come from a borehole. We are the generation who witnessed simple local travel regress from just a light prayer to complete fasting and intercession. We are the generations that, due to economic hardship, are starting families on average 10 to 15 years after our parents did and are dying 10 to 15 years before them. They speak of us in academic terms, our plights buried behind rigid statistics; “Youth unemployment and underemployment is at 70%”. We are here, we are human beings, we are watching, we are weeping, and we are dying.

To add insult to injury, we are bullied, suppressed, and oppressed by every element of country and state. The expressions of our creativity and culture have been myopically defined by our hairstyles and phone brands; we can hardly walk an inch without being hounded by agents and officers of the country. We are harassed for crimes as severe as “driving while young” and “doing that hairstyle that they don’t understand”.
Nigeria eats her young and hates to see them grow!!!!. We asked Her for bread, but She gave us stones and despised us for still being hungry; we asked her for an education, but She gave us ASUU strikes and lambasted us for being illiterate; we asked her to let us live in peace, but she gave us Boko Haram, IPOB and Bandits and insulted us for feeling scared. We stood at Lekki toll gate and begged her to restrain her agents from further harassing us, but she responded by sending her agents to harass and kill us in a “phantom” massacre that never happened.

Our entire existence is a tragic pattern of continuous abuse and oppression. My choice of Labour is not necessarily an endorsement of Peter Obi, it is just a rejection of APC and PDP, my oppressors.

They say we are rude, uncultured and without class: but these are the only examples that Nigeria has ever shown us. They say we are disorganised, disunited and lacking in focus: It is just to reflect that from which we came. They ask for respect, civility, and graciousness: but We Cannot give what we do not have, and we do not have, because we have never been given.
Good morning Nigeria, we are the monsters you made!!!!!

hahaha J.town stand up !!!!!

Hed0nist:
This story will seem unbelievable but it actually happened. No embellishments at all. I was living a hell of a life at the time and taking some mad risks. I thank God for life.

As a student,I went to west of mines to chill with friends. It was past midnight by the time we were done and the gate of the lodge would have been locked. I opted to spend the night in a cheap hotel. When I say cheap, I mean dirt cheap. This kind 2500 per night cheap. I was also very intoxicated, so the mental processes involved in my decision making were not functioning optimally.

Anyone who knows west of mines will know that it is the HQ of hoes. Long story short as I was returning from buying food to finally retire, I saw a hoe with big ass “parambulating” around the corridor. Without regard for my safety I asked her what the problem was. That was how she told me she was stranded and needed a place to stay. That was also how I stupidly agreed to let her stay with me. She got in and I shared the extra booze and food I bought with her.

That night I slept with the most painful hard on in my life. But I refused to attempt anything as she was my guest. I also wasn’t sure if she was a serial killer, my high was beginning to clear. However in the morning she asked me why I made no attempt to knack her. Cos even though she didn’t say it, she knew that I knew that she was just a hoe who wasn’t able to find a client for the night.

She sha busted it open for your boy. We were at it till the last of the condoms in her purse got torn and I bounced out never to be seen again.

Religion / Re: Do You Fake Being A Christian As An Atheist In Nigeria? by Owiz22: 1:48pm On Aug 14, 2022
My brother, you are not alone and it is not easy. However, we know the country we live in and must be wise in our dealings

salam

Is it wise to play along with been a Christian as an Atheist? I am finding it difficult to fake, it seems like a major blow to myself to lie to myself.
Romance / Re: Nairaland Men Are So Fragile by Owiz22: 12:03am On Aug 05, 2021
Wow, I wonder who or what broke you. Whatever or whomever it was really did a number on you.
I am guessing deep-rooted daddy issues, Feelings of abandonment, some type of abuse, a pint of PTSD, all now manifesting in full-blown depression. You are not throwing a tantrum, you are crying for help. I just hope those closest to you are perceptive enough to see it.
