Oh wow, yes I was able to confirm my VO is still Ottawa. What's yours?

I managed to finally get through to them via calling last week. They confirmed they've received medicals but the person was telling me he cant help process biometrics, that the responsible office will handle it. It's just been an unusually long waiting time for biometrics of all things.

For your spouse, I'm sure he or she passed medicals or they've received it, because I didn't get the usual med passed notification on my profile, it just changed to 'you do not need a medical exam'

phantasma:
It's been 3 months since my spouse was added to my profile . No meds passed nor biometrics request for my spouse. Do you know your VO?

Hi guys,

Please is anyone else experiencing delay in receiving Biometrics Invitation letter? I added my spouse to my application and ircc has included him as a dependent on my express entry profile since the 7th of april, however, till date we have not received a mail for BIL for him and i'm really really concerned. I'm tired of sending webmails. I keep receiving the same generic response, i even attached the payment receipt and all.

Please is this normal at this time? because it is quite frustrating

Good morning everyone, please how long does it take to get a mail for Biometrics for spouse after said spouse has been added as a dependent on your profile. It's been a month now and I haven't seen any mail for him to go for biometrics yet

What occupation is this?
What state is nominating it?
Kindly share your 70/65points breakdown?

Okay, its the 489 Visa Subclass, NT is nominating the occupation.

So here's my breakdown.

The Visa Subclass - 10 points
Age - 30 points
PTE - 10 points
Degree - 15 points
Work Experience - 5 points.

Total - 70 Points.

Good Afternoon everyone,

So I had a first attempt at PTE and just got my result. Had L-84, R-79, S-70, W-87. It's a bit painful because nine more points in my speaking would have granted me 20 points but I'm still good with 10 points. Once I add this to the requirements under my visa category(subclass 489), I would have a total of 70/65.

Now, my chosen occupation falls under VETASSESs and there's only one state nominating it (Please what are my chances?).

Also, my major confusion is the application process. Is the EOI application different from the VETASSES application? or are they the same thing. Because I can see VETASSES also requires an application process.

Please o, I would really appreciate all necessary feedback, as I want to be very sure of my next step now that I have the PTE Result.

Thank you.

Got my PTE Result today, I'm so excited because its my first attempt.

L- 84
R- 79
S- 70
W- 87

Overall score: 77
I needed to at least 10 points in PTE, so I'm okay with my result. I was really scared about my Speaking though, because I had a cold.

E2 Language tutorial really helped. Whoever recommended it on this forum, Godbless you!

Good Morning Everyone,

Please I would like to know if my having my course of study as Personnel Management and Work Experience as Construction Project Officer would affect my Assessment. I have over 4 years experience as a project officer and I intend to file in under subclass 190 for the Project Administrator role. However, I am afraid about my course of study, would it affect my assessment?

I would really appreciate a feedback please.

Thank you.

Good Afternoon,

Please I have a few questions

My skills set falls under the subclass 190 with the AIMS category(HR manager). I've been at my current place of employment for 3yrs+.
Prior to that I worked elsewhere to 6months, and before that I was elsewhere for 2yrs.
Here's my question, I only have an official offer letter from my current workplace and I have payslips, tax card, pension and all.
However I don't have anything from my previous place of employment except bank statement because they were basically start-ups. Can I still claim them?

Also, hope it's okay to do the PTE exam as opposed to IELTS?

Other information about me;
Age: 27
Qualification: BSc

I'd really appreciate all the advise I can get. Thank you
