ANC is now on a weekly basis so feel free to ask questions from your Dr.
Check what facilities they have to cater for a jaundiced newborn, take a look at their NICU, blood bank etc. We won't need it by God's grace but we need all the reassurance we can get.
I'm sure bags are packed. Don't forget to get a wrapper as that would be most comfortable the first few days.
Have you been cleaning your nipps? Scrub those dark and crusty stuff off it, we don't want baby ingesting it.
I'm sure you have all downloaded the contraction timer app.

A very big congratulations to our newest mummies,may your babies bring joy to your family at all times.

As we are gearing up to enter the last week of October, our remaining mamas should know that they are in our prayers and our victory is sure on all sides by the grace of God.

We are also expecting our November porters to start taking their seats ooo especially those ones Zaynie packed the other time.

Sorry mamas , this is long over due. I have been overwhelmed.
I had my baby 23 October via emergency cs. Thank God, baby , mama and papa are doing well. safe delivery to all preggy babes

How is everyone doing? OK o. so one over sabi sonographer told me some weeks ago babies gender as xy even though I didn't want to know before I told him to hold it he already spilled. so this week I was curious and asked the gender to be during scanning another told be xx. lol I don't know who to believe. edd 13/10/18.

What can I do to combat Food aversion? The thing is I’m hungry but I cannot eat. I just attempted to eat some fries and I can’t stand it. Tried eating bean porridge and bread yday and couldn’t go past one spoon. I can’t even eat my beloved dodo with jollof rice anymore, dodo now irritates me cos of the sugary taste. I tried eating fruits yday when I couldn’t eat food and I seemed to take down fruits but I decided to google the fruits I was eating only to see that peaches are not advisable in pregnancy. I just stopped eating everything altogether. Right now it’s only boiled eggs I can eat. I’m hungry, what can I eat ooooo

Pap with spices does it for me. swallow with ogbono or vegetable soup and peppered indomie. kpele

My daughter and I just got discharged from the hospital. I had severe malaria and stress from moving to a new apartment. Healing just fine by God's grace.
My baby's bigger than his gestational age. So I may deliver earlier, which by the way is my desire(37wks I pray for).
Overall, I have a lot to be thankful for.

I have been wondering if one can deliver earlier depending if baby is measuring more than gestation age. and baby is measuring two weeks ahead. so a scan this week to know d weight to choose a final possible date for ecs .
Put me in your prayers. ftm after over 8 yrs of marriage. Am really nervous.

team February I need prayers as I'm already tired and too weak. I was hoping m.s will stop at 14 wks but this is 17 wks and I can barely go a day without vomiting. infact as I speak to you I'm hospitalized due to excess vomiting. I may have no choice but to quit my job.

. oh dear, sorry. trying ginger and lemon tea, hot or cold. rest well and eat at regular intervals. some prenatal vitamins can also make you sick. I had to stop mine for a while. for your job, try to apply for leave without pay.

Braxton hicks is like a mild menstrual cramp comes with tightening of the uterus for me it mimicks the pain I feel a week before my menstral period.

Lightening crotch is a very sharp pain u feel deep within your pelvis or vagina most times it happens wen ever I'm trekking or I stand up suddenly

Present ma bags almost fully packed tho my edd is October 25 I think this my mama will come before then cos the Braxton hicks and lightning crotch no be here I'm just praying she chills till 39 weeks at least cos my maternity leave has been so well calculated I wouldn't want to deliver before 39 weeks

I'm still learning to use this platform hence I can't mention people but congrats to the new mummies...me I can't wait. Team October , pls how are u coping, my waist n abdomen wants to pull off....to go work, problem..sit down 30mins wahala....walk 5 mins....wahala....talk less of exercise n my Tommy is verrrrrrrrrrry big n long but na one dey inside....the movement nko.....na karate....the one I don't understand is I feel pulse inside my Tommy when it's resting on my leg. ..October still far oh.hopr I'm not alone n what could be the reason for the pulses?? N tightness? Pls help a first timer....I don't even know what to pack....

So I've finally checked the gender and it's a boy. So gratefulto God cos i have a girl already.
I have shopped, and also washed my reuseables. My bags are packed except for a few things to add like flask and towel for myself.

Oh God. A beautiful experience but not an easy one. suffering from constipation, reflux , indigestion and waist pain. October do quick and come.
Bag not fully ready ,as a first time, I don't know what feeding bottle/sterilizer , cream set to buy , these and baby cabinet remains.

I had ELCS,I was really scared of vagina delivery,I used the opportunity too to repair an umbilical hernia(I used to have a very big navel). In fact we didn't tell our Parents,my mum had an idea but didn't when I was going in exactly because I didn't want anyone to discourage me.

I was awake throughout the surgery but just couldn't move my legs and didn't feel any pain. As soon as I was cut open,the doctor was trying to bring my son out and suddenly started telling his fellow surgeon that there was cord very tightly round the baby's neck two times. I got really scared,they hurriedly carried the baby to go resuscitate him,I didn't hear my baby cry at all. I started calling all the doctors name o,telling them to make sure nothing happens to my baby. I guess this explains why I was always on and off the hospital from my 31weeks,I was having crazy contractions. Maybe the cord was trying to strangulate the baby,I don't know o. Sometimes I imagine what if I had waited to have vagina delivery and he didn't make it or came out too weak.

Well,my bobo is 1yr 4months,the CS site is completely healed. I am back for 2nd missionary journey. The choice is yours Sis.

I didn't/don't feel guilty about having requested for the CS on my own. I did what was best for me and my baby.

congratulations on your son. please at what week did you have the elcs ?
