Hello doc..I was having hot sensation in my groan area went to the hospital and my urine mcs showed E coli .doctor prescribed antibiotics and I was getting some relieve from the hot sensation..after some time it was back again and I had to do another urine mcs and vdrl test..urine showed no growth and vdrl came out negative..doctor just assured me and gave me multuivitamins..buh I feel so uncomfortable especially when I sit or rub my thighs together..what do u advise I do pls..its really affecting me

Hello everyone. Trust your day is going on well. Had to create a new moniker because of the stigma STD's carry. I have been a victim of Staph since 2002. Ever since, i have been running from pillar to post looking for cure. I started with the hospitals where i was placed on several powerful anti-biotic that only suppress the bacteria and make them resistant. Some one once said that staph is just like poison. most times you feel like you want to commit suicide. When i use the toilet, the 2nd push comes with a mucus penile discharge. She needs a formal assessment from a trained health professional to make sure it is indeed a hernia and not infection.

@just2okworld. PID is caused by STI, unless she was on contraception ( Coil) which could also be a risk factor for PID. She needs to get treated asap as you have been advised before complication sets in. See a Gynaecologist.

@just2okworld. Your friend needs to visit her doctor. A clinical examination and scan may be required to ascertain what the swelling is. Probably Umbilical Hernia?? Fibroid??. She needs to seek medical attention without delay.
@painedbro. Just the mere fact that you have no rash or discharges doesn't rule out STI (Sexually Tramsmitted Infection). Do you feel pain while urinating? Has the number of times you urinate increased than usual? Have you done any laboratory test (Urine test, Swab, Blood test). Do you feel pain in your scrotum?. Do you smoke? Are you Diabetic? How has your health been generally prior to the hot sensation? Have you had STI in the past that was treated?
Oasoremi. From what you have described, having changes in cycle or flow is not out of place. Hormone changes, Stress , Contraceptives could be a cause. Chances that you are approaching menopause is very low, unless there is history of early menopause in your family. Keep calm and watch for the next flow and cycle. Hope it helps.
