Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by pamela007: 10:48am On Oct 19, 2021
Good day nairalanders,

Please I have a question. I applied for permanent residency under the express entry scheme in November 2021, but as most applications are taking longer than usual, I have decided to go to the Uk to do a masters degree in the mean time. I am set to start school in January, and I was wondering if I need to inform IRCC about my plans. If so, how do I go about the process, and when would be the best time to inform them of my intentions?

Your responses are highly anticipated.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

I am really not a regular commenter here but I thought I should share my short story.

Sometime in June last year, I came looking for information about BCS Certificate in IT exams, I had no knowledge of how to even begin the process at the time.

Fast forward to January 2020, I have began the evaluation process for my BCS CIT and on course to get that 2 or more certificates that has been so required for EE lately.

I was lucky to find a group on Telegram then which connected me with some tutors (BNT). This exam is not easy, but with the right assistance and guidance, it will be a walk in the park.

I wish to help anyone interested in the March exams achieve their dreams, we will all get to the promise land. I recommend the BNT tutors for anyone who is in need, they helped me and I am not shy to sing their praises.

I dont know how to share their contact without violating the rules but you can search for them on telegram or via their website: www.techbnt.com or send an email to techbnt@gmail.com.

You will be glad you need.
Hi, I plan on registering for the BCS exam tomorrow for March. I plan to take the self study route, please if you have more information about the course, and where to find study materials, kindly share with me.

This is just stupid. Why the incessant changes which ends up making matters worse?! Even I whose department is featured to submit today being 'Friday' is still getting errors.
Absolute Balderdash!.

Asin! I don't see the reason for the schedule really!!! They make abrupt changes and fail to notify you prior to the changes!!!!

The just find a way whole process stressful!!! Submitting TMA's is already a struggle. the you now want to add schedule on top! WHY?

I've been seeing some unfounded rumors circulating on whatsapp groups since yesterday, claiming the TMA portal is closed. This is in direct contravention of the info on NOUN's edu site.

Anyone with info on what's happening should please enlighten me coz the portal has indeed not gone through since yesterday.

I don't understand o!!! I tried to do one of my TMA's just now, and its giving me the error below:

Sorry you cannot take your TMA today.
Kindly check the notice for your scheduled day.

Its not even funny!!! They had better rectify it cos i"ve not done alot of them o.

Dear Pamela,

We hope this letter finds you well. It must be a busy time on campus for you and we just wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to complete the application for the role of Middle East & Africa Programme, Full Time Analyst - Lagos, Nigeria (Europe, Middle East and Africa) - 80001783.

Unfortunately, after much consideration, we are not able to offer you an interview at this time. However, we hope that this will not be the last time we connect. We invite you to keep in touch with Citi and check back periodically throughout the course of your career in case a position of better fit arises.

Our list of available opportunities can be found by visiting: oncampus.citi.com
We sincerely appreciate your interest in Citi, and wish you much success in the future.

All the best,
Citi Graduate Recruitment Team

After all the waiting!!!! So annoying.

Bro, I don't have any screenshots. But here's what I think you should do:

1. Google Talent Q, register on their site and take their Numerical test. It might be a little difficult at first, do not panic, just take it again. You'll get used to the questions.

Note that the practice tests on Talent Q site are the only (free) ones you'll find. IMO, they are sufficient.

2. Take the real test at your convenience.

For me, the main test and practice questions were almost of the same difficulty. Just keep calm and take the test. You'll find it's quite easy.

No, they have not gotten back to me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. (And by fingers crossed, I mean fasting and prayer).

Good luck! I believe you'll pass!

Please since when did you take the test?

Has anyone recieved mail with the test link from citi?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Citibank Nigeria Recruitment For Analysts 2017 by pamela007: 10:26am On Apr 28, 2017
Good morning everyone, i'd advise you try clicking on the link that was sent to you via email again. When i first recieved the email (Tuesday), i tried the link that same day, and i was getting the same error as everyone else. I emailed them, and got no response other than the automatic reply. I decided to try again just this morning, and i was able to fill in my employment information that i omitted when i was first applying.

For those who have not recieved any email yet, do not fret.... i had already lost hope because people had already written their assessment almost a month ago and i still hadn't recieved an email. Lo and behold the email came when i least expected it. They stated clearly in their automatic complaint reply that if are not selected you would be informed. So as kong as you have not recieved a regret mail there is hope. I suspect they are doing it in batches.

Good luck to everyone.
