Phones / Re: MTN To Launch 5G Network In 7 States In Nigeria by Pascaldebravoo: 10:38am On Aug 25, 2022 |
FreeStuffsNG: Congrats MTN!
The states that will witness the first launch, the company said, include Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Owerri, and Maiduguri.
Just like the clean data from INEC, JAMB data etc, I see population consideration at work again. Yet from one of these clean data, an estimate of 80% Igbo live in the 5 SE states while 20% live outside SE, making SE low in population and with very low diversity in population. 80% of JAMB candidates who are indigenes of SE states wrote their exams in the 5 SE states while 20% of igbo indigenes wrote outside SE. These candidates filled their states of origin as the SE states and their registration linked to their registered GSM numbers and biometrics!
The 5 SE Igbo states have a minority population.
The clean data do not have emotion and that may just be one of the emperical basis to site major developments.
MTN is not FG that one can blame for using politics to site development, MTN is in it for business so MTN had really factored in real data to choose the take off states.
I am not surprised. The 3 super major tribes in Nigeria by population are the Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani. Part of the push factors for developments like this is low population.
The current low population and low urbanization of Igboland is largely due to environmental factors ( e.g natural disasters like gully erosion, hostile weather conditions caused by climate change etc) lack of security especially in those large unoccupied bare lands, low Igbo population, too much blood letting, emigration of indigenes and the fact that non indigenes are not attracted and incentivised to migrate to Igboland to urbanize it.
Luckily, all these push factors currently being witnessed by the 5 SE Igbo states can be reversed if the folks and leaders in SE are honest enough to admit these problems and deal with each of them. For God sake, the whole SE is just like the size of Oyo state in Land mass so if a single Governor like HE Seyi Makinde can administer Oyo state, having 5 Governors to administer such equivalent Igboland land mass should be easier and bring developments far closer to my Igbo brethren. Haba!
In my whole life, I have never seen or heard a non-Igbo saying he is relocating to SE. As a patriotic Nigerian, I am genuinely concerned that something is really wrong with SE. Igboland can not be left behind. check my signature for free stuffs!
It takes joblessness for you to compose this. The people you are busy writing about, don't care about you, because they are out there making millions. |

Politics / Revelation About Next Nigerian President by Pascaldebravoo: 3:43pm On Aug 16, 2022 |
Hmmm, this is becoming so serious. Like it surprises me a lot that before every presidential election in Nigeria God will have given me a revelation of who will become the next president of Nigeria and in the end, it comes to pass. I have never for once asked God to reveal that to me but He chooses to do that, anyway—especially during the electoral season. It doesn't matter whether I'm a fan of the person or not. It just comes. It all started from the time of Goodluck Jonathan and then during Buhari's—first and second tenures. Now, I'm beginning to get very favorable revelations concerning Peter Obi of the Labour Party. Peter Obi will end up winning the 2023 presidential election—from what I'm seeing in the realm. Remember, this will be the 4th time I would be having this type of Revelation—1st, 2nd, and 3rd have been fulfilled already. Now, it's remaining the fourth. Watch it out!
Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a prophet nor pastor neither am I advising you to vote anyone—as that is your choice to make—but I'm just using this medium to share my experience. As I see this regular experience as a gift from above. 1 Like |

If Atiku and Tinubu dies today, Obi still will never be the president. One thing is 100% guaranteed, either of PDP or APC flag-bearers will become president.

Why would I carry it to the village..? It's already in the morgue, for her people arrival, it's their daughter. Have done my most vital parts borrowing money to save her now am in debts, if you want me to marry her corpse because am scared. My brother you're wrong.
Bro, that is the more reason why u would have listened to your mom or parents every tribe has its culture, you know. Although it depends on how you see it, it might not necessarily mean that you are marrying the corpse but they want you to fulfill the culture that qualifies you as the legitimate father of your son. You see, in the eye of the tradition that child does not belong to you unless you pay her mother's bride price—and that's all they want you to do. Now you do not need to take this matter for granted cos is capable of putting you into an unnecessary spiritual battle. My advice for you is that you need to see the family with some important people in your family so that there can be an amicable settlement between the two of you. 2 Likes |

Career / Re: How I Got Fired From Chevron By A Gay Boss by Pascaldebravoo: 3:28pm On Apr 07, 2022 |
Sixfiguresmart: Happy to get an oil and gas job. Dream come true. Everything was perfect with me. 3 years into my job, a new boss showed up. A light skin Nigerian male. His wife and kids were in Canada. I visit the gym 3x per week.
He requested to go to the same gym. Pretended to work out and asked that I mentored him. It all happened fast. I thought he was responsible as he was married. He started touching my body inappropriately. Caressing my chest holding my arms. Thought he was enamored by the muscles only. I would somehow break him off and redirect him to the session.
Then, after work it was about meeting me, talking to me, confiding in me. Initially, I was happy to build a close relationship with a boss. Of course, that's my career growth right there.
Not until, this night, he invited me over to his lounge. As soon i arrived, he undressed to a G-string, I was dazed for real. He tried to kissed me. I blocked it. Then, came the love, the feeling, and sex plea. So, I took my leave quickly. Felt disappointed and betrayed. I told no one but my bestie who laughed over it and made a mockery of the whole thing. Telling me that he would have busted his ass for the money.
All I needed was my job and no drama. He advanced toward me several times. Showered me with expensive stuff. I rejected everything he offered. I couldn't shake him anymore, no hugs, nothing. I felt truly perplexed cos he was very connected and has brothers and relatives in top positions in Chevron. I met with him, talked to him man to man politely. He told me he had been in it since he was 14. I asked him if he would love that life for his kids. He said, no! So, I told him that I have a faith, a conscience and a commitment to my God. That I would not entertain homosexuality. So, after more attempts, the hate set in.
Well, my final year in Chevron was horrendous until i finally got axed 17 months after my new boss showed up. I moved on with my dignity but with a bigger lesson in life. I kept it a secret for many years. Only my bestie new about it.
Many men are victims. People hardly believe the few who cry out. Many will question the authenticity of my history and blame me afterall. Making it harder for the next man to come out.
Many argue that they will beat, hit, or punch a man for advancing toward them. There are consequences. Read your room. Justice hardly comes in a world of injustice. Sometimes, the best thing to do is walk away. You have chosen the best, man. You did the right thing before God and you can be sure that God took note of everything. The holy Bible tells us that it is better to do the right thing and suffer injustice than suffering for your own wrongdoing. It is just a matter of time you will be lifted beyond your widest imagination. May grace unlimited locate you right there where you are and may your uplifting come faster than your expectations. A better opportunity than the one you lost is coming your way—just be patient. 1 Like |

Family / Re: What I Learned In A Nigerian Police Cell by Pascaldebravoo: 6:00pm On Feb 19, 2022 |
KiNg0G: This is my second time to be unlawfully arrested and taken to a police station. yesterday their defense was they heard a complaint some boys were constituting nuisance around the neighborhood so they came to perform what they call Raid. I been unlucky,I had to go get barbecue and banana around 8:30pm just to have as my dinner...I needed something light. The keke I entered on my way back I was stopped, they ask for my ID, which I didn't have on me. Buh I told them what I do for a living....just because they saw Tatoes on my hand... They put me in the back of the car along with some boys that they have already hold..I had to sleep cell for the sec time in my life yesterday.. before morning came, I gave them my statement and got bailed out by my landlady.
here are the top 7 things I observed
1) HOLD YOUR GATE FEE
you be surprised what gate fee am I talking about, are you entering a concert that wizkid and davido are performing artists with ladies twerking, no bro..it's a cell filled with lowlife criminals of different crimes.. hardened criminals..as soon as they see a fresh person about to be put inside cell.. THEY ALWAYS EXPECT YOU TO COME IN WITH MONEY. because for them survival is what they all about..and to survive they need food daily, because many of them have been abandoned there with no body coming to bail them out.
I was forced to pay #500
2) COUNTER OR INSIDE CELL YOUR POCKETS DECIDE
can you believe I was told by one slim female police clerk, that if I was to stay in the counter till day brake I have to pay #1500. it wasn't new to me, I had only 500naira and some change left after the barbecue purchase..I pleaded with her to take it but it fell on deaf ears..some guys that came with me quickly sorted them self out and they were told to pull their bosers and sit in chair at the corner...while the rest of us who couldn't afford was taken inside cell.
3) BAil is not free
Why was I arrested? They saw me with the barbecue and banana I bought on my way home, but they still took me to the station because I had a Tatoe like who does that?.in a civilse county...I told them I was into music during my teen days, even til now, I still get called for features and mentoring.. but this police they Just didn't care to hear from me at that time....I knew they took me as a meal ticket.mthey said am a bad boy because I have a Tatoes.
4) YOUR SOCIETAL STATUS DOSENT MATTER INSIDE A NIGERIA POLICE CELL
Those hardened criminals don't care if you own 3 venzas or benz...range rover. Or if you've build an estate or operate in real estate. They just need you to maintain and follow the laid out rules.... they don't care if your a big man or not...INFACT THE MORE AJEBOYISH YOU LOOK, the weak they sense you to be. so you have to be focus, shine your eyes and behave like them.. or try to.
They say when In romans behave like the romans.
5) SENIORITY DEPENDS ON THE STRONGEST
Yes in a Nigerian cell, it doesn't matter who first came, but who is perceived as the strongest.... but the person who has been there for a week has a higher advantage than someone who just came that paid gate fee to get a place to lie down with the smell of piss and shît besides him. Why? Because no how you came in and meet 5 guys inside..those guys has already bonded since morning...gisting... telling stories and the rest. So that just came need to use your head...if not those guys will change it instantly towards you.
6) YOUR FOOD IS OUR FOOD
I DON'T think I have to explain this, is self explanatory...the cell member's has its own governing Bodies from PRESIDO TO DIFFERENT POST. so if your bail was delayed, and your people brings food for you. The right thing to do is call them to join you.. you can't just eat it Alone. It's never done that way on my 2 experience.
7) EARLY MORNING SINGING DEVOTION
ON my 2 experience, 5am everyone is expected to wake and the morning devotion starts between all the cells in the police station trust me if it's 4 cells...the 4 cells will coordinate the morning devotins together singing praises and worship to God almighty for life...then the presido leads them in prayer.
Note: this is not to discredit the nigeria police system but for we all to come together and share and relate With our different experiences in life thanks
The way they are hardened criminals so are they innocent people who are Just arrested unjustly..
Are you a Christian? If yes, your power is in your mouth you can decide not to have that experience again through your confession. Then again, u can as well remove the tattoo. 1 Like |

Amongst all the presidential aspirants in PDP, Peter Obi, the former vice presidential candidate, PDP, is the most qualified. My reasons are that he is highly learned, civilized, an astute politician, a technocrat, and a visionary leader—who has proven himself before. At least, he has a better pedigree when it comes to leadership than his competitors.
Who else thinks that Peter Obi, the formal governor of Anambra State, can make a good President if allowed to lead Nigerians? For me, if PDP fields him, I will go out and vote. The last time I voted was during the time of Goodluck Jonathan. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Politics / Help! An Accidental Nation by Pascaldebravoo: 11:28am On Dec 14, 2021 |
What is a nation? According to Oxford Dictionaries, a nation is defined as a large body of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory. But what of when a nation is accidental? It means there was no proper plan before the nation was birth. It just happened unexpectedly. So it was a product of chance. But When u look at the definition of a nation, there is something that is so cardinal—and that is UNITY. No nation without plan, strategy, and unity of purpose will ever stand the test of time. The bible says that "a kingdom that is divided against itself cannot stand". It's an eternal truth that cannot be disputed. And it's worthy of note that any nation on planet earth that shows this characteristic stated above will, as matter of fact, fail. If that nation chooses to pretend instead of acknowledging the warning signals and doing the right thing, it is just a matter of time, that nation will collapse.
It is madness for a nation to keep bombarding and killing its citizens thinking that that will suddenly bring peace and security. When what needs to be done is crying out loud and clear on top of a high mountain but her leaders have chosen to ignore and beat about the bush. Such thinking is not only flawed but myopic. Tell me how can a nation stand the test of time when it's clueless on how to proffer solutions to her problems. No intellectually dependent nation will endure organic and inorganic pressures of life when they arise. Such a nation is doomed to failure. A nation that shamelessly cries to other nations of the world to come and solve her problems, instead of getting her acts together, has no balls and it's not fit to be a nation.
A nation majority of her citizens only wants to become politicians, not because they want to proffer solutions to the myriads of problems bedeviling the nation but to steal from her and further complicate her issues, is not a true nation but an accidental one. And such a nation can be likened to a man that befriended a lady just to sleep and suck her dry without adding value to her life. Such a nation lacks patriots—and a nation that has more thieves than patriots can never stand or succeed as a nation.
How can a country full of world-class intellectuals be left in the hands of incompetent and clueless beings? Who lack vision and cannot pilot the affairs of a complex nation. Does this nation lack patriots? How can a nation expect to magically get better one day without working out the strategy on how to. The Bible says "who is that that wants to build a house without sitting down and planning the cost?"How can a nation that lacks direction get to its destination? A ship in the middle of the sea that has a faulty compass will find it difficult to get to her destination. Can a nation suddenly become great when all its citizens do is talk? Or has anybody on earth seen where ordinary wishful talks without follow-up actions solve any problems?
A nation that must succeed must apply a pragmatic approach to issues that critically bother its wellbeing. A nation that dreams of a better day will sit down and write its objectives and goals—boldly written and spelled out. And they must be men with honest intention and the burning desire to make things happen for the better. Gush! what an accidental nation

I won't blame them but the ignorant masses that voted them in. Do they even have an idea of what an average Nigerian is passing through considering the economic hardship in the land? Since they are getting everything they want on the platter of gold they won't understand.
When u keep taxing the people without considering their plights one of the resultant effects is an increase in the crime rate. But instead of looking at how to increase the social welfare of the masses to curb or reduce the crime rate—of which food availability is chief amongst all; what do they do? They keep stockpiling weapons to kill their people as if that is the solution to the Nigerian problems. There is hunger in the land as a result of an acute shortage of food and massive unemployment. Know this and know peace—there is a serious correlation between crime rate and hardship. We do not need rocket science to understand why the nation is bleeding. The nation bleeds as a result of the selfishness and incompetence of those that call themselves our leaders. FG, Look for ways u can solve these problems first of all and see if there will be any need to waste the scarce resources procuring weapons of mass destruction.
Presidency, Please stop complaining, whining, and being irresponsible looking for other nations to solve our problems for us since u are the cause of the majority of the problems. Deal with it. Get down to work for goodness' sake. That is the reason the people elected you. U are not elected to become the biblical Pharaoh and the taskmasters—who increased the woe of the Israelites by callously increasing their workload without a correspondent instrument for the work. That's wicked and uncalled for. 7 Likes 1 Share |
