It’s a mistake. Send them an email to clarify and ask for the contact of their Nigeria representative (they have an office in Lagos and will help with visa application and interview). All the best

Most uni do the breakdown in 3. First is 2k like you said, second should be 4,500 pounds when you get your visa or when you get there (before you can be allowed to get I’d card or enter class). Last 4,500 pounds in second semester like January, if going for September cause. That was what my uni did then, but my uni divided the instalment in 3 equal parts including deposit.
But send them an email to ask them for the breakdown.

You can do more than 20 hours during holidays. Plus some other people are saying they worked more than 20 during term time and got it. It’s about working smart.

Hello guys...Congratulations to those that just got their visas! I missed coming here

1. If you can make over 50% tuition fee payment please do (using form A)..in fact, I would advise 70%
2. Make necessary arrangements for accommodation. The UK can be annoying even with your money at hand Oooo.
3. When you land, please don't rush to buy stuffs..ask and ask and ask questions. I can't go wrong! (you might get better deals)
4. People coming with family should take critical note of (2) ACCOMMODATION!!!
5. International driving licence might come in handy ( I started driving 1 month after I landed though, I got a Nissan £1,000)
6. Apply for a provisional driver's licence; it is a good photo ID in the UK.
7. If you are good at cycling, good!..cheap bikes are available and that will save you a lot...I did that before getting a car and still use it for short journeys to conserve fuel and burn excess McDonalds in the system!!!
8. Remember no padi for UK be ready to pay your own bills...be prudent and smart! I have heard stories of close family members throwing people out...that happened to some I met on this platform. When he told me his ordeal..walahi I almost did not believe it!! I don't mean to scare anyone just that I want you guys to come prepared and self-reliant so that some people don't mess you up.
9. you might need a Police Character Certificate...not mandatory but I heard some people requiring it for jobs. Better than begging people who will now exploit you because you are in the abroad

To add to this, it’s good to finish paying your tuition before coming or 80% tuition before coming or have it when you resume especially for those that have no support. Reason is, some schools will give you pressure to finish up your tuition instalment on the time stated on your admission letter. This will make you want to work too much, some even miss classes and fail the 3rd semester. Try everything you can not to fail the 3rd semester, this is for those relying on post study visa. Most times the remarked results won’t be out for you to process your post study visa when you fail 3rd semester. Just be smart.
For accommodation, instead of expensive uni accommodation, check zoopla, rightmove and spareroom. All the best.

Has the person done biometric already? If Yes, and his application has been transferred to DMC or VAC then those in red before the Biometric Enrollment Done doesn't concern your dependant since it has been received by DMC already. If it has been transferred to VAC then a decision has been made already.

I think some centres do walk in service just incase you can find a date after February 14th for biometric and document upload. Probably fill the online application any time before 14th.

Is there any reason why you preferred a direct flight? If it's possible for shuttle, I would advise getting KLM to Birmingham. It will make your life easier.

However, if you have a good reason for not wanting a shuttle flight, then you can take a train to London Victoria and get a national express bus from London Victoria to Birmingham.

My destination is Birmingham and I am having difficulty getting a direct flight to Birmingham.
Is it ok to stop at London and then take a train to my destination without having issues with UK immigration in London?

Yea, get a flight to Heathrow. You’d get a train to Birmingham but if you are carrying load, I’d advise you use a bus to Birmingham, from Heathrow a bus should take you to Victoria, then you should get another bus from Victoria. The thing is by train if carrying more than one big box, it might be stressful if you need to interchange at another train station. Check megabus or National express coaches.

Playing the Devil’s advocate: The information at the Canadian embassy has it that Mr Fola has travelled to Gambia & Dubai.

Fast forward to Mr Fola getting a new passport and becoming an honest man. Mr Fola would have no country listed as part of his travel history in his Uk visa application.

I these embassies share information.

I would have suggested she actually travels to those countries with a new passport before applying for any admission but it still doesn’t make sense because the travel history date won’t tally especially if this visa issues happened years ago.

The thing about CAS is that it is been generated by home office after your school sends them your details. Since you haven’t paid, ignore the school because you already showed them the fake stamps. Get a new passport, look for a new school for May. Don’t be in a hurry to pay and mess everything up with your hands. Also declare the Canadian denial on your application when it’s time to apply for a UK visa. Uk give people visa with or without denial from Canada and US.

The applicant is a recent graduate 2019 and Covid delayed Convocation hence certificate not yet ready...

Or is the original degree certificate a must?
