Gud evening all, I paid the obligatory and school fees in Access Bank on campus since morning and the spgs website is still asking me to pls pay obligatory fee. Please what is the way forward?
Were you given reciept to acknowledge payment?
Did you see any changes on your portal after the payment? If you don't get any positive change by 12pm tomorrow I advice you go back there to complain. It's also possible it's not being registered by the bank payment portal.

cheesy cheesy cheesy but that's how its meant to be na. No Msc course should be less thatn 18months. Naija's case will always be different.
Bros UK,Canada,Malaysia all na 12 months oo,what are they reading for 18 months sef? the thing is there is no room for playing inbetween which I think its fair.Omo unilag all the way. Technically we go use slightly above 12 months sha.

The things I've been reading here sha . . .

I repeat, until the merit list for ALL the departments and faculties is released registration cannot commence. So all of you should just calm down.

Someone said below that one has to pay the acceptance fee before the pay advice can be generated. What kind of nonsense opinion is that? You expect a school of the stature of unilag to NOT announce the commencement of their registration exercise? *sigh* I guess we hold ourselves to low standards.

Whoever Mr. Timothy is, his advice is just that: advice. Whoever goes to a bank to pay before registration is officially announced runs the risk of not having his payment acknowledged by the university UNTIL reg officially commences, and then they'll come here and start complaining. Nonsense..
Come every body here should be postgraduate students na, why are we so impatient as jambites.Even before the exam pass had no time and venue but later it had. Why can't we be patient? Is there any award for who first pay? Haba! when the time is right what you need will be provided on your portal..PATIENCE!!! This is not the first set of postgraduate admission and will not be the last..

The results are generally bad. The option for Unilag is to reduce the cut-off marks. This is so becos they have to meet quota for each dept. Remember for Pg school, they feed off the school fees of students. They did it last year and may repeat same this year.

The only worry here is admission runs for second list will cost more as more people will take advantage of the situation to make money.

Normally 40% is the least Unilag will take, all those who scored above this point should be very hopeful. I still believe 35% and above should have some hope.

we have not heard the last of these results.

This is poor and its sad.
Bros long time oo,see make unilag no insult anybody, those simple questions na im everybody fail(dats cbt)..What of dos engineering guys wey see different score online? Something does not add up,ppl jack well for dis tests oo...Instead of investigating how d so called aggregate score is derived dey dey say massive failure, for simple ques..

See ba make unilag take time oo..Why will a reputable institution as dey claim to be jst release result and call it aggregate score, wer did they collate score from...Look at the confusion and tension they cause, nobody understand if its over 100,70,50 or 60..Some test were 60 questions for cbt so how did ppl get 19.3,32.5,45.5,25.6? wer d decimal come from,we deserve an explanation..Unilag should b responsible enough to explain themselves as we all paid good money to them fors the sake of transparency...Is it when sm1 get high bp? NUC should spell it out to niga universities dat admission process is a transparent and fun process nt tension soak mystical process that gives room to dey suspect dem..

I did my exams today, mechanical engineering and the questions of a truth were different from what is in the past questions. However, no matter how we look at it, one needs to commend Kalan. I don't know him, but at least some of the questionns sold gave a clue about how the exam questions will look like.
Some of us never knew anything about the process in unilag until we read some info from kalan about the pg program.
Although, it is not easy to pay so much for PQ and find out none of the questions came out, but I still think the questions provided some form of guide as per what to expect. My thoughts though.

I share your thoughts too but I think that guy's beef is with the planning and Kalan got in the mix trying to defend unilag officials.First mistake is sanitation, second mixing up different programmes that attract many applicants, third they should have test run the systems and local area network on friday...The 45mins felt like 35mins...
