MaxInDHouse: Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Today implies the day he was crucified. That was the day paradise or heaven or God's kingdom came. But you jw failed to believe it No As a matter of fact no one is righteous, so Jesus couldn't possibly take him to paradise because he was righteous |

David0002:No! May be you should consider the why first and consider them separately without mixing the truth, because the truth cannot contradict itself 1.Why do we believe in Christ? 2. Why should we stop committing sin? For the number 1 question, John 3:16 explains the why. It says so that we should not perish but have everlasting life. For the number 2 question, so that we will live long in this life and be happy. For instance, if we kill, we will be killed too. If we lie, we will loose people trust. etc Number 1 has absolutely nothing to do with number 2 Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith(FAITH IN CHRIST) without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 2 Likes |

David0002:Lies! Lies! Lies! Rather, you should say if you don't believe in Christ you are unrighteous You can't deny the place of Christ in getting people to be righteous Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: |

AntiMarxist: You are stupid! It seems you are so daft to understand what i have been saying, must it be igbo, what's exactly your problem with igbo that you are so scared of them ? I have mentioned other minority tribes like Ijaw, Ndoma, itsekiri, Efik and Tiv, you are not saying anything about them, are they also not all inclusive too or did they fight civil war or plan coup that will warrant them not to have a president too ? Goodluck Johnathan was an ijaw man who ruled Nigeria, may be you will still have problem with that too. Come, don't quote me again o! Shameless mentality Nonsense! 1 Like |

AntiMarxist:I don't get what you are saying. Desperate for power like how? No! You are wrong on this, don't generalize. Yes, it is true that many of them are still influenced by Nnamdi kanu and ipob to believe in cessationism, but most of the educated igbos that i know, especially the ones living here in the west, do believe in Nigeria That is the truth, as much they they are one the 3 major tribes. I don't think this is desperation. It is their right, just like the minority tribes like ijaw, Ndoma, Urhobo, Efik, Tiv, itsekiri, tiv, are also entitled to the presidency by right, not just the Hausa and Yoruba only what do you mean by wrong doing? Which tribe in Nigeria did not do wrong? If you want to talk about cessationism as wrong doing Sunday Iboho is there o, not just only Nnamdi kanu. As a matter of fact, there are hundreds of bandits in the north who are fighting the state causing insecurity, is that one not wrong doing too? hmmm! I bow for you o We are talking about reconciliation and a new Nigeria all inclusive you still talking about the past requesting apology from people who were not there during the civil and the coup you are talking about, are you that dumb? you are stupid enemy of Nigeria! I will advice you, go back to cotonou where you came from. You are trying to bring disunty among the tribes here who saying Nigeria owes anyone anything. Every tribe irrespective of their region are entitled to Nigeria and that is what the political class should work to achieve in order to maintain unity. there is nothing you can do about it. Foolish man |

AntiMarxist:ok,can a rotation be made that will involve atleast the six major Geo -political zones? I think that will be far more better than just the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba Because me self, I'm not igbo or Hausa or yoruba and i need power too |
Politics / Re: What Were The Offence Of Igbo, That Ironsi Did What? by paxonel(m): 10:51am On Sep 09 |
AntiMarxist:Anyway, cessationism are usually products of long term injustice perpetrated by the ruling class to the cessationist group, it happens world-wide. We have 3 major tribes here Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. For over 60 years now, the Igbos have been excluded from producing a president from their region that's why you see cessationists like Nnamdi Kanu and Ipob, though their activities are not constitutional. For this reason, it is expedient for the ruling class to map out a comprehensive power rotation plan which is inclusive of the Igbo region that must be followed by all political parties. I think this isn't difficult to do if we truly want a one nation that is free of political cessationism |

I am neither Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba. I'm just one of the minority tribes who is observing this whole long tribalistic episodes in a country and I'm pretty ashamed.. Ashamed of my generation. You know, can you people shield your filthy tribalistic swords and move on? The world is becoming a global village and in this 21st century someone is still thinking tribal discrimination, what the... There are things we should grow beyond as a people. We cannot in this generation repeating the same mistakes of Ironsi, Tafawa Belewa and Obafemi Awolowo, may be we should learn more from their good legacies and totally ignore their tribalistic sentiments as more educated children of these past leaders. It is so shameful to keep washing our dirty linen out there for the world to see, or is it only Nigeria that is blessed with varieties of tribes and cultures in the world? |

Steep:poygamist! Good Now, look at this : Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them.. This scripture shows that God loves creating varieties of things and he was never discriminative in blessing them. Now, let's talk about discrimination : Racial discrimination, Tribal discrimination, Gender discrimination, call it whatever type of discrimination. Like monogamy which is most times better than polygamy, Do you think that discrimination or sentimental prejudice is good in any form?

Religion / Re: What God Told Me Today In The Church Concerning Tithes by paxonel(m): 3:07pm On Sep 08 |
Petalss:As a matter of fact, anyone who by-pass the bible to to say anything contrary, has not heard from God. What you hear from God must correlate with what the bible says. I believe that, what will make a pastor by-pass bible is because the message he claims to hear from God which he delivers to his church members is exactly what they want to hear to console themselves. Not necessarily what the bible want them to know. People just want to hear that they can perform certain rituals like tithing all to get money from God in return. But it doesn't work that way 1 Like |

Petalss:what I see about Dr Abel Damina, he is an intelligent man. And obviously from the look of things, it is more convenient for God to use intelligent people than less intelligent people. Example : Because Paul was more intelligent than Peter, he did greater things than Peter inspite that Peter met Jesus Christ one on one and Paul didn't He read it from the old testament but refuses to see that it does not apply anymore in the new testament. This is what Abel Damina was intelligent enough to detect in the real sense, the two cannot be guidance from God at the same time. It's either one is right and the other is wrong or vice versa 1 Like |

Petalss:If the information from the pastor for example is God said you should give to the church because the church preach the gospel, then you can verify from the bible where people give to the church in order to propagate the gospel. You can also chose not to verify anything and give by your personal intuition and reasoning without a religious leader telling you anything, knowing that preaching the gospel is good. But where the information is saying pay tithe. Then you need to ask yourself, what is tithe? How is tithe different from giving? You can verify from your bible whether tithe was supported in Christianity or whether the pastor is trying to use your head to make money |

TimiRume:1. In a country where you have less Christians, what if in a church of 10 people, one of them is a woman who knows more about scriptures than the remaining 9 who are men, and the men agreed that they want to learn from her, so she cannot teach them? If you think she cannot teach them can you give a reasonable explanation for that? Because, a reasonable explanation for her to teach them is that, the men should not remain in ignorance 2. You have heard of Deborah in the old testament, what was her role to the isrealites? 2 Likes |
