Zoom or no zoom, you know the distances within the areas covered

Does Onitsha have a marketing issue? and if so what can we do. Notice how New York State is named after the city, Enugu is named after its city, and Lagos is named after its city. Should Onitsha and Anambra do a name change?

I even thought you are educated
Read what he wrote
This Time around slowly, after then open any satellite map, or maybe Google map
view onistha,
You will realized how the urban areas spreads from onistha and has almost glued owerri, same goes to awka axis!
If ikorodu, Agbara (in ogun state) and ikeja can be counted as Lagos metro
Then Nnewi, awka and co can be counted as onistha metro
The onistha metro itself is bigger than that of Lagos by landmass, buh smaller by population
(Travel and see! Nigerians has built up almost everywhere around that axis from onistha to down to owerri)!

The thing is according to the definition of a metro, the entire area from Asaba to Aba is one metropolitan area. Probably the densest part of Africa.

You continue to sound like and idiot. You don't know what urban metropolitan area is all about. For your mind it's Ok for Ikorodu to be Lagos but you don't know that same way Nnewi is Onitsha in this context? If Ikeja is Lagos urban metro don't you know that Awka is also part of Onitsha urban metro? If parts of Ogun is counted for Lagos metro don't you know that parts of Delta and Imo also counts for Onitsha?
They ranked urban areas you are talking about cities, Don't you know the difference?
Do you think Lagos is one city? Onitsha city can be compared to Ikoyi not Lagos as a whole which is a combination of many cities
See Google maps for the two metropolitan areas

This is actually a really great point. Why is it that when you are in Lagos, you consider Ikeja, Ikorodu and the island as one city. but for some reason people dont understand that nnewi is also apart of onitsha metro?

I think it's because all of them are in one single state called Lagos. If Anambra was named Onitsha, it would be easier to people to understand.

Exactly. But the Onitsha urban is larger in landmass than Lagos. It stretches from Asaba to Awka to Owerri

please be careful.... or they will get angry that you are saying that Onitsha metro is larger than Lagos metro in landmass. Just leave it alone :/

What I know for sure is Onitsha is the second largest metro in Nigeria, and We need to stop with these inaccurate censuses.

I'm not sure why we hate the truth in this country. Oh wait I remember now

From Google maps

Onitsha Metro has to include Asaba. I mean it's literally right next to each other. I would say it's from Asaba to Owerri.

Similar to how Lagos metro which is the largest in Nigeria includes Agbara, Ikeja and the island.

We should honestly let UN conduct both our elections and census. Everything in Nigeria is laced with tribalism.

You know they will never agree grin if its not rigged they dont want to participate

No time for story.

How many radio/tv stations are in Onitsha?

Again let me ask you, have you been to the two cities?

Yes man I've been to both.. Bro I'm done arguing with you. Multiple independent organizations have come out and said Onitsha is the second largest metro. Why would a French, Asian or International organization lie?

I think for the next census we should let the UN conduct the census because obviously we cant be trusted to do it ourselves.

We need a third party to conduct the census.

Have you been to both cities?

Do you require external research to confirm what is in your backyard?

Yes you need external research to confirm whats in your backyard, because when something is in our backyard we tend to be biased. This is why people try to have independent researchers, investigators or judges.

However, Yoruba muslim want to kill all of us.

You know Yoruba muslims hate Ooni of Ife they prefer an emir. I'm not really sure why.

I like Ooni of Ife , Hes a good king

The animosity has been on since decades but my people have been too happy-go-lucky to notice. It gas nothing to do with Tinubu. To believe me just look back to 2009; the kinds of premeditated attacks on the Omoluabi ideology coming from people who have no history of their own which they can be proud of.

These people who are not known until recent decades for any great accomplishments have lied so much about our history. They recruit people greater than them like the Edo to attack Omoluabi land. They are willing to partner any people to mitigate the might of Oduduwa because they don't have any of their own hence feel belittled by our history, culture, language, food, music, drama, and everything that is fast becoming the face of Africa itself as a continent.

Arise, Omoluabi rere. A ko gbodo je ki awon ono alainiiran wonyo bori. Today it's sponsoring tweet trends against the Ooni, tommorow its reengineering the history of Ile_Ife and Lagos. Next tommorow its diminishing the Itsekiri. This must stop ✋.

nobody cares enough about ur culture to attack it. lets focus on attacking tinubu

I asked ChatGPT to explain Tribalism to a 10 years old, not because you are 10 years old but because I believe your brain might understand it better if simplified for a 10 years old. Please read the response:

Explain tribalism to a 10 years old

ChatGPT

Hey there! Imagine you have a group of friends, and you really like playing soccer. Now, let's say there's another group of kids who love playing basketball.

Tribalism is a bit like when both groups really, really love their own game and think it's the best. They might cheer for their team and think their sport is the coolest. Sometimes, they might even feel a bit competitive or not understand why the other group likes a different game so much.

In the bigger world, tribalism can happen when people feel a strong connection to a particular group, like their country, a sports team, or a community. They might feel really proud of their group and sometimes find it hard to understand or appreciate other groups as much. It's important to remember that even though we might have our own favorites, it's cool to appreciate and understand other people's preferences too!

===
Now you know you are wrong!

Nowhere in my post did I say that igbos are better than any tribe. saying that one tribe is doing well outside of Nigeria isn't tribalism. I didn't insult anyone I just said a fact. I'm sorry the truth upsets u.

Thats like saying its tribalism to say that tinubu is Yoruba

And again south -south region is not part of your Igbo nation...

You would be the first one crying One Nigeria if that happened.

Look if you want One Nigeria so bad, you have to actually PRACTICE one Nigeria. Not practice tribalism and call it One Nigeria. No wonder naira is 1k even though it was 400 in June.

Tribalism does not have to be negative. Praising your tribe is still tribalism. I hope you understand that you are Igbo because you had Igbo parent, and others are of their tribe because of the same reason.

You are individuated unit of spirit in a human experiential universe. You just happen to ride on igbotic DNA neuromorphic solar vehicle via the bloodline. And therefore superior?

And others inferior? Just say so without saying so. Still tribalism.

Bro Praising my own tribe is not tribalism. All I said was igbos are doing well outside of Nigeria. Since when is that tribalism? Please go back to school and learn English

It’s called Group Narcissism.

Narcissists always demand attention and adoration, plus control of others.

It’s like food to them.

If you deny them that, they become your enemy.

If you grant it to them, they will destroy you.

The only way to deal with narcissists is to avoid them.

Pretend they don’t even exist.

igbos are full of themselves? you guys always attack igbos but we dont run the country and haven't since 1966. but somehow IGBOS are the tribalistic people that are the reason why nigeria cant move forward.

I CANT STAND U GUYS.

an igbo man has to be perfect, and even when hes perfect like Obi, he still loses. You guys give igbos a different standard to everyone else, so I dont care anymore

Tinubu is hiring only Yoruba left and right, similar to how Buhari hired only Fulani left and right, yet nobody called them tribalistic.

But ofc the igbo who lives in all parts of Nigeria is a tribalist. You guys are fake

Sometimes I am ashamed of how some Nigerians think.

I am Igbo and take this advice…..if there is anything you should do for your self in Nigeria, just stop wasting your time on something that won’t give you any benefit.

If you are successful or have a good work, you won’t be here opening useless threads.

I am guessing you’d be 18 or less in age.

Igbos are blessed people and therefore that doesn’t mean other people aren’t blessed too.
