Thank you all so much. The NIS Admin-support are a very great team.
They helped to resolve the issue and also helped toretrieve my lost reference
Number and application number.

Peacelois:
Please my fellow DIY. I have made two payments on the immigration website for new passport application for my kids. The payment went through but I can't login back to book appointment. It's saying no record found or I am using the old platform.

Please what can I do i have paid 52k for the two applications already.

Go through the studies route but to Canada! If you go to the US, even after graduation, unless you marry a citizen/LPR, you'll still have problems getting your papers. The H1B is not easy to get.
Canada is still close to your sibling(s).

Thank you so much 🙏

Yes.
With F4, the study route (F-1 visa) is one of the best options you have now.

B-2 is way more narrow.

OK. Thanks

I have been denied B2 visa twice in the past. The VO asked why I haven't been filed for.

So filing started after the 2 visa Interview denial.

Hi, if you are still interested in Teaching , don't resign from your job, try direct entry route with your HND to B Ed or BSc Ed in Nigeria or try to apply for PGDE instead of PGCE with your HND in the UK ( it is 50/50 chance for this).

Thank you STENON
Nairaland / General / Help On The Career Path To Choose by Peacelois: 7:23pm On Apr 12, 2023
Good evening everyone.

Please I want people of vast knowledge about career to help me make a proper decision.

I am am HND holder with Upper Credit class in Computer science.
I graduated over ten years ago.

After graduation, I worked as an office administrator / IT for over 5years.

Got married, resigned and have 5 years of employment gap.

I started a teaching job as an ICT teacher over 2 years ago.
Now,
I wish to add more qualifications to my career.

I have these options but confused on the best career path:

1. Do an HND to BSC top up in any of the Nigerian university and after for MSc thereafter.
This might take up to 2years to complete.

2. Do a PGD in Education at NOUN since I've been teaching for over two years.

3. Apply for PGCE(post graduate certificate in education) UK to be a trained teacher
Or
4. seek for HND to MSC admission in UK.

Sorry for the long post
Thank you all
