1year P.GD again is very very stressful since its full time. that means 3years before you complete your masters.. thats stressful man. dawnomike: |
![]() |
the false foundation is only at the point of entry. its sickening having to go through another 1year just to get a P.GD just because you are a Poly graduate. I mean even with Upper Credit? its difficult man. advance Countries accept HND (upper credit) for direct masters program. Niyeal: |
![]() |
IF an employer sees your M.sc certificate, will he insist on P.GD since you have your HND also in the CV? |
![]() |
Hello Nairalanders, What if someone fakes a B.sc and Transcript and gets admitted to study for Masters in the Nigerian University, but in reality he has HND (Upper Credit). Will Employers in subsequent years on seeing the CV with HND and M.sc suspect any foul play? |

The embattled INEC REC in Akwa Ibom, Mike Igini (pictured sitting with Gov Udom Emmanuel), has been accused by various quarters of colluding with the state Governor in order to make APC lose the election in Akwa Ibom State. A prominent voice has now been added - Buhari has named Mike Igini as an INEC umpire who he believes is corrupt and is working against the APC. Rumours to that effect had been swirling around the political scene for a while, but after the various happenings during the presidential election, including the movement of the result from Ikot Ekpene to Uyo senatorial district, it has become obvious that Mike Igini is not an impartial participant in the election. The political calculation within the current Akwa Ibom State Government had always been that Atiku would win the election, and with that, “all sins” would be forgotten. Now that the federal Government has shown that it will remain APC, there is clear fear within the state government, and by the INEC REC about election manipulation. With the tough anti-corruption stance of the federal government, it is becoming clear that the days are numbered for all those involved in manipulating elections. 1 Share

Reports reaching us from very reliable sources have confirmed that more than 10 top PDP members in Akwa Ibom State have begun negotiating with the APC against the outcome of 9 March gubernatorial election in the State. This sudden change of mind came as a result of the perceived interest the APC led federal government has in the oil rich state. Some of the PDP members were caught quoting the words of Professor Yemi Osibanjo, the Vice President of Nigeria who confirmed in his visit to Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State on Monday the 4th of March, 2019 that the APC will regain their stolen mandate during the gubernatorial election on the 9th of March, 2019 "We are all aware that your votes were cancelled. We will regain all those mandates that were stolen. It is not possible that our senator here standing could have lost. Godswill Akpabio is the duly elected senator of the people." Prof Yemi Osinbajo As the fear of failure looms in the PDP camp, more drama is expected to be seen from desperate politicians who are scared of retiring from politics so soon. 1 Like 1 Share

It appears that President Buhari's message to the Akwa Ibom people through Vice President Yemi Osibanjo has caused real upset among PDP members in the state. A reliable source from the PDP camp who spoke to our correspondent confirmed that things do not seem to go well with the PDP as what is termed "federal might" may be used on the 9th of March, in favour of the APC. According to the source who chose to remain anonymous, "I will advise Akwa Ibom people to be careful on the election day because it is going to be a do or die affair. PDP elders have promised to rain hell if care is not taken" It appears that the desperate moves by the opposition to cause mayhem during the gubernatorial elections in Akwa Ibom State is because the Federal Government has decided to ensure that credible polls are carried out in Akwa Ibom State since there are reports from various quarters that the PDP led government had penetrated INEC and bribed all its staff prior to the presidential elections. Meanwhile the information on security threat during the elections has been forwarded to relevant security agencies for prompt actions. 1 Share

Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has always shown himself to be grossly inconsiderate at every opportunity with active workers and job applicants alike. Gratuities, leave grants and promotion entitlements of civil servants in Akwa Ibom state have been subject matters relegated to the trash can of history. It is very despicable and unbelievable that primary school pensioners are yet to receive their pension in Akwa Ibom State despite the bailout funds provided by the federal government since 2018. While Udom Gabriel Emmanuel resumed office in 2015, about 5000 teachers which were recruited into the civil service in the state were arrogantly relieved of their would be job before resumption under the guise of insufficient funds for payment of their remunerations. Those sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom who had high hopes of meaningful engagement were stranded after being offered appointment letters. In November 2018, The state civil service called again for applications from suitable candidates to fill purportedly vacant positions. This of course had a rapid response from the innocent unemployment stricken masses of the state. Little did they know that Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and his cabinet have not deceased from their age long deplorable conducts and misdemeanour. How could a state government that has the interest of its citizens at heart treat her people with such disdain and chronic disrespect, relentlessly defacing the confidence of her workers and aspiring youths in the government and fairness of her policies. It is pertinent that Akwa Ibom sons and daughters take the right decision at the polls because elections will be over and its euphoria will be gone. The big question is – Will Deacon Udom drop his dubious mannerism? I guess the answer is NO So, vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019 because the change that we need is here. Vote APC #AkwaIbomDeservestheBest 1 Share

Udom often falsely claims that Akwa Ibom has been peaceful under his tenure. But this is wrong. Statistics by various humanitarian groups, as well as local opinion shows that the largest incidence of insecurity happened under the Udom tenure. In the Ukanafun area, a cult war waged for more than a year while the governor sat helpless. Even though the main cultists were known, because a couple of them were connect with politicians currently in the PDP, nothing was done against them. The entire area lived in insecurity and fear -with shootings becoming a daily matter. In Ikot Ekpene and Uyo, cultists walked into the market with guns and simply took goods as the traders scampered. This state of affairs lasted for more than 6 months, while Udom travelled out to relax in Lagos. The problem ultimately had to be solved by the federal government on the insistence of the local senators like Godswill Akpabio. The federal government sent in soldiers, who quelled the insecurity and restored back peace to the state. The problem has not really been that Udom did not see the issue - he was just too weak to rise up against the sons of politicians who he needed for re-election. For that reason, he let the local wars continue, and tolerated the death of citizens as the price to pay for his ambition. 1 Share

Many Akwa Ibom Residents have started questioning the jurisdiction of the Court in deciding which INEC staff the commission should redeploy or not. With the latest news making rounds on the social media, an Abuja high court yesterday, gave an injunction to stop Mr. Mike Igin, the INEC REC of Akwa Ibom State from being redeployed to another state. Rising from the above issue, one would wonder why the court should step into a matter that is crucial to the future of Akwa Ibom State and making pronouncements without considering the plea of the electorates. One would wonder why Justice O. A. Musa of the Federal High Court in Abuja had to postpone the hearing of the suit till the 21st of March, 2019 when the gubernatorial elections must have finished on the 9th of March, 2019 and the winner announced. Could this be a ploy by the PDP to ensure that the biased umpire called Mike Igini stays to make their planned script a reality? Could it be that some High Court Judges have become party to another conspiracy to rob Akwa Ibom people their well deserved mandate just as they did on the 23rd of February during the Presidential and National Assembly elections? Mike Igini is a PDP member and has since lost his integrity for money. 1 Like 1 Share

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, barely eight days after his resumption on May 29, 2015 had set up and inaugurated a 10-member Technical Committee on the Realisation of Ibom Deep Seaport with Barr. (Mrs.) Mfon Usoro, a one-time Director-General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) as Chairman precisely on June 7, 2015. Sources revealed that the choice of Ibaka for the proposed seaport dated back to 1952 by the British Government, and a feasibility study to that effect submitted to the British Crown even before the shallow and inland water ports at Calabar and Port Harcourt were established. Maritime analysts posited that Ibaka is the most viable location for the seaport, going by the deep sea draught of 16m, which would need no dredging as well as the strategic proximity of the proposed port to the corridors of the main Gulf of Guinea and the commercial cities of Aba and Onitsha. It’s nearness to Exxon Mobil and other major oil concerns as well as the Sao Tome and Principe is equally a great advantage to the nation’s economic drive. However, in a world press conference which was scheduled by the Nlap Isong Akpakip Oro and the tink tanks of Oro nation to raise questions about an alleged relocation of the Ibakka Sea port to Ibeno LGA and the conversion of the Maritime Academy in Oron to a university, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi; a member of the Ibakka sea port technical committee was said to have “bluntly refused to make appearance” as she was allegedly “afraid to face the Oro leadership committee”, having three years back, uncovered the Akwa Ibom State government’s plan for relocating the seaport to Ibeno. “Of course, what do you think she has to say? The best she could do was to stay back because she had already told us the truth three months after their committee had started work” Godwin Ettah said. It became glaring that the said allegation was actually true. In July 2018, Commissioner for Housing and special duties, Mr. Akan Okon had briefed the press saying that the most important thing for the project was getting a preferred bidder. “We have done that. The bidders’ conference was held in May this year in Uyo. Now we are going to go into negotiations with them, and sign the necessary agreements which would be sent to the federal government for approval, and when that is done, I can assure you that the construction of the Port will now commence”. Every thinking brain would realise that if the Ibakka sea port, a roborst project capable of changing the entire economic face of the Oro-nation, region and Akwa-Ibom as a whole were a priority for the state government, It would have been given apt attention instead of running after white elephant projects merely meant for showmanship and hypnosis of gullible citizens and the people of the Oro nation in a bid for re-election. 1 Share

Udom Emmanuel should be getting an award for the number of projects he has started. He came in with grand plans of industrialising Akwa Ibom. His ideas are even good on paper, but unfortunately for him, he spent his entire life working in a bank, and dealing with abstract numbers. To get things done in Akwa Ibom state, you don’t need an expert in numbers, you need an expert in people management. Someone who knows how to navigate the intricacies of dealing with human beings, many of who have many diverse interests. Unfortunately, Udom is not that man. He appointed many tricky politicians to his cabinet, and they have been playing him up and down. He comes up with good ideas, and those ideas get messed up and all the money stolen. Because of that, Udom became paranoid and has refused to release money to many people. Which has lead to a breakdown of projects - leading to the dearth of new projects in the state. Udom is overwhelmed. It’s not easy being a governor, and a banker with no previous experience running large scale governance is not the best person for the job. That is why the person who worked to get him into office - Godswill Akpabio - has looked at him and decided that this man is not fit for office. The abandoned projects all over the state bear testatement to this - a pencil factory that does not make pencils, tomatoes that do not grow, and coconuts that do not exist. It is possible for people to apply for jobs they cannot handle. In that case, it’s best to resign and find something you are capable of doing. That time is now - Mr. Udom Emmanuel - it’s time to go back to the bank - and go back to a job you are capable of doing. 1 Like 1 Share

Why will I not support Obong Nsima Ekere when he has promised to pay all outstanding pensions, gratuities, Local Government workers’ salaries, primary school teacher’s entitlements and allowances owed by Governor Udom Emmanuel? Why should I not support Obong Nsima Ekere when he promised to give Akwa Ibom children over four hundred thousand direct and indirect jobs yearly? Why should I not support Obong Nsima Ekere when he has promised embark on massive public works to reflate the economy, create jobs and put money in the pocket of artisans, suppliers, and contractors. Why should I not support Obong Nsima Ekere when he has promised to flag off conditional cash transfers of N5,000 to the extreme poor, N5,000 to orphans, N100,000 per delivery for multiple birth mothers and N5,000 for the physically challenged, in addition to their participation in a skill acquisition programme. Why should I not support Obong Nsima Ekere when he has promised to train and empower transformative entrepreneurs? Have you ever cared to find out why Obong Victor said that "Governor Udom Emmanuel’s period as Governor remains a mystery"? Did you take time to read page 204 of the book entitled "It is well with my soul" written by Obong Victor Attah and published on his 80th Birthday? According to line 24 of the page, Obong Victor Attah affirms that “at the moment, it is almost impossible to find any major project attributed to Udom Emmanuel”. If this review came from an elder statement who has once governed Akwa Ibom State before, *What is your own position?* Do you think Obong Victor Attah was lying considering the fact the no significant project has been completed by Governor Udom Emmanuel despite the fact that in the history of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel is the only Governor that has collected the highest allocation from the Federal Government. Was the rice mill not a scam? Where is the 10 billion Naira ecumenical centre? Where is the 10 billion Naira Akwa Ibom Lodge in Lagos? Has the Eket Stadium been completed? Has the four point by Sheraton Hotel been completed? Has the Ikot Ekpene/Uyo road been completed? What of the Eket/Ibeno Road? Where did he keep our Mexican cows? Why has he refused to pay primary school retirees? Why is he trying to deceive the people of Akwa Ibom State by buying 3 airlines when he has pensioners to still settle? *JUDGE FOR YOURSELF* and tell me if Udom has not failed This is the right time to vote wisely Let your PVC speak for you on the 9th of March, 2019. Vote Obong Nsima Ekere for the future of Akwa Ibom State. We are more and we are ONE *#AkwaIbomDeservestheBest* 1 Share

It has been over 2 years since Akwa Savings and Loans closed down under the watch of Gov. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel. Over 200 parents/staff became jobless in a state Governed by a former bank director who claims he had over 25 years banking experience. They told us they inherited a debt of N1.5b naira but got an approval from the AKSHA on the 3rd of March, 2016 to secure a loan of N1.5b to pay the debt (See document attached). However, instead of repaying the debt (if any existed), Governor Udom, in collusion with his finance commissioner, fraudulently diverted the money from the Akwa Savings & Loans Ltd account no. 1006986768 to an account of which the finance commissioner was the sole signatory and operator. This action by Udom Emmanuel crippled the operations of the bank, sending 200 parents packing under the disguise of not being able to fund the bank till today. *Kindly reflect on these questions* 1. If debt was truly the problem, what happened to the N1.5b Udom claimed he borrowed to pay Akwa Savings and Loans? Did he not pay the debt after borrowing the money? (See the attached documents) 2. Akwa Ibom State in the last 3 years has received the highest allocation in Nigeria. What real projects have Udom carried out that warranted the borrowing of money to clear bills when he had things like the Paris club refund? 3. What happened to the N25.98b (1st tranche) of Paris club refund? Why didn’t Udom use some of the money to sustain or keep Akwa Savings and Loans alive? 4. What happened to the over N74b returned to Akwa Ibom State by the Federal Govt. out of N144b Senator Akpabio used to carry out federal projects when he was governor? What has Udom used the money for that Akwa Savings and Loans should close down? Could it be true that Gov. Udom purposefully closed down Akwa Savings and Loans in order to sell it to a Lagos consortium that belongs to him? Could it be true that Governor Udom Emmanuel rendered over 200 parents jobless because of a hidden agenda to buy the bank over? Akwa Ibom people think deep and JUDGE FOR YOURSELF Is this the kind of deception you need in the next 4 years? Let your PVC speak for you because *#YouDeservetheBest* VOTE Obong Nsima Ekere come March 9th 2019. My name is Tim Obot and I approve this message 1 Share
