Politics / Timipre Sylva Planned Buhari’s Stoning In 2011 – Ex-aide by pegolala(m): 6:02pm On May 25, 2015
Former Special Adviser to erstwhile Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, Chief Richard Kpodo, has accused his former principal of sponsoring the stoning of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, in 2011.

Youths had hauled stones at Buhari at the Amarata field in Yenagoa, the state capital, when he (Buhari) came for the 2011 presidential campaign on the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change.

Kpodo, who was in charge of security under Sylva, alleged on Monday that the former governor hired the thugs that pelted Buhari with stones.

He claimed he could not stop Sylva from carrying out his plan because he only got to know about the stoning after the incident.

He said shortly after the incident, Sylva accused Buhari of entering the state without observing protocols, stressing that the ex-governor claimed that Buhari failed to inform him of his visit.

Kpodo said his grouse with Sylva was that he betrayed him despite supporting him against a sitting President (Goodluck Jonathan).

Accusing Sylva of double-facedness, Kpodo said the former governor lacked the moral rights to accuse Jonathan of betraying him since he (Sylva) was “a serial betrayer” of his supporters.

He said Sylva inherited an empty treasury from Jonathan but failed to disclose it to members of the public because he was playing “a good boy to the President”.

He said there was no reason for Sylva to be complaining when he failed to do the right thing at the right time.

Kpodo said, “Sylva said he is close to Buhari. Which Buhari is he close to; the one he sent people to stone in 2011? If he had died, would Sylva had said he is close to Buhari?

“Sylva masterminded the plan of stoning Buhari. I can mention names. Why we did not say anything then was because we took oath of office. Sylva has resorted to betray people like us who stood by him when he was fighting the President.

“We were the people who made publications against Mr. President. We came out again to fight for the new PDP. We were fighting the PDP and they declared us wanted. They wanted to assassinate us.

“They even went to my village to arrest my family, that I am trying to incite people against the government; a lot of criminal claims against me. Where was Sylva in all of these? When we succeeded and joined APC, he brought his stooges to destroy the party; he betrayed us.”

He alleged Sylva did not campaign for Buhari and the APC in the state, adding that the lack of visibility of the party in the state led to Buhari’s defeat in Bayelsa in the last general elections.

Efforts to get Sylva to react to the allegations by Kpodo were unsuccessful.

Calls to his mobile phone indicated that it was switched off while a text message to his mobile phone was not responded to as of press time.

Politics / NLC Threatens Nationwide Strike Over Fuel Scarcity by pegolala(m): 11:52am On May 25, 2015
The Deputy President of the Comrade Joe Ajaero-led faction of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Issa Aremu, that should the scarcity of fuel linger more than it is, labour would mobilise workers nationwide for an indefinite strike.

He described the nationwide fuel scarcity presently being experienced across the country as war against the citizens and a deliberate attempt to subject 170 million Nigerians to economic suicide.

According to Comrade Aremu, “Nigeria is the only country on earth which unacceptably and criminally denies its citizens basic sources of energy; fuel and electricity. He said it was time all Nigerians stop agonizing and rise in unison against this capitalistic tendencies of few people.

“After several weeks of deliberate deprivation of petroleum products by both the government and marketers alike with all the associated hardships, it is time all Nigerians stop agonizing and rise in unison against this (Nigeria’s) agony.

“With petroleum products’ prices as high as N350 per litre, (far above N87 per litre!) claims and counter-claims between Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and marketers over so-called N159bn subsidy payments and all state actors looking indifferent, Nigeria is the only country on earth which unacceptably and criminally denies its citizens basic sources of energy, fuel and electricity,” he said.

Aremu lamented that, “what is happening in Nigeria amounts to ‘economicide’ which is a conscious subjugation of 170 million people to economic suicide and economic ruination through unsustainable petroleum import-based racket that denies petroleum products needed for mass movement of goods and services, enriches few cabal, puts pressures on foreign exchange, fuels products hoarding and promotes sheer price robbery of the already impoverished citizens.

“This is an unofficial declaration of war against the citizens by combined forces of irresponsible ruling elite and business crooks. Economicide just like Genocide is a deliberate and indiscriminate policy against a group of people with the intent to destroy the entire group physically and economically,” he said.

In a statement titled; “Time To Rise Up Against On-going Agony Capitalism And Economicide”, he threatened that if the current scarcity and price robbery of Nigerians continue, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has no choice but to compel workers to stay at home, saying that workers will certainly not fuel themselves to work with their blood.

He said that there is a limit to slavery and state/marketers’ extortions.

“With an outgoing President and expected incoming President, five past Heads of State alive, 36 states Governors, and hundreds of Legislators and scores of Ministers, no country on earth parades the highest number of state actors. We also have high-sounding agencies such as NNPC, PPPRA among others. And yet there is no governance with respect to basic distribution of basic products like petroleum and kerosene. This agony of capitalism must be mass resisted by all Nigerians,” the union insisted.

Meanwhile, as fuel scarcity continues to bite harder, many black market operators have resorted to selling adulterated fuels to desperate buyers.

Despite that many of the operators are selling a litre between N200 to N400 per litre.

The menace of adulterated petrol products flooding the market, especially during the period of scarcity has lingered for several years now without any concrete solutions in sight. This adulterated fuel usually causes explosion that result in social and economic catastrophe.

Some residents who spoke to Daily Independent admitted that they know the danger inherent in patronising the black market operators but added that they have no choice.

According to Muyiwa Adesoye, a commercial motorcyclist, who said he bought five litres of fuel for N2,000 at Mushin area on Sunday: “I believe the fuel may be adulterated. Some of these guys mix it with water or kerosene. But I have no option than to buy since I have to work.”

Politics / Fani Kayode: I Can’t Be Cowed, Tells Nwc Of Pdp by pegolala(m): 10:58am On May 21, 2015
Mr Femi Fani-Kayode says he cannot be
intimidated by threat of the National
Working Committee (NWC) of the
Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) to
discipline him for calling for their sack.
Fani-Kayode, the Director of Media and
Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign
Organisation, stated this while speaking
to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday.
He spoke shortly after the resignation of
the National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji
Adamu Mu’azu.
According to him, I am vindicated by
Mu`azu`s resignation.
He, however, insisted on total
overhauling of the party with the
resignation of other members of the NWC
for the party to return to its former glory.
“I am glad that about seven hours after I
said somebody should resign, somebody
listened and stepped down. Every single
one of them should go’’, Fani-Kayode
said.
“I was a special adviser to President
Olusegun Obasanjo for three years under
PDP and I served as a Minister too.
“I served as Director, Media and Publicity
of PDP Presidential Campaign
Organisation. In a sane clime, party
members should be able to criticise their
colleagues when they go wrong.
“Did they ask for Gov. Ayo Fayose to be
disciplined, did they query Gov.
Babangida Aliyu and Gov. Sule Lamido?”
According to him, these persons have at
different occasions asked for the
resignation of the PDP NWC members but
they are not reprimanded. He wondered
why they want him reprimanded.
He said as a citizen, he had the right to
freely express himself, adding that he
would never be cowed or intimidated by
the threats from the NWC.
Prof. Wale Oladipo, National Secretary of
PDP, announced Mu`azu`s resignation to
newsmen the end of the 399th NWC
meeting.
Mr Olisa Metuh, National Publicity of the
PDP, also confirmed Mu`azu`s
resignation at a separate briefing.
“I can confirm that we have received the
resignation of the party’s national
chairman.
“The national chairman, who had health
challenge, stayed on for the party’s
primaries, the campaigns and the
elections after which he travelled abroad
for medical treatment.
“Mu`azu, after consultations with his
family members and on personal interest,
has decided to resign as national chairman
of PDP.
“This party commends him for the
sacrifice he made during the campaigns in
spite of his health. We commend him for
the love, dedication and commitment he
has for PDP”, Metuh said.
He said that the party wished Mu’azu well
and would not forget his services,
stressing that he would be celebrated
accordingly.
He, however, added that Uche Secondus,
the Deputy National Chairman of PDP,
would immediately step in as its Acting
National Chairman in accordance with its
Constitution.
He said the acting chairman would be in
the position pending when another
chairman would be elected from the
South-East. (NAN)

Politics / APC Sycophants Have No Idea Who Buhari Is, Says Bishop Isong by pegolala(m): 10:08am On May 19, 2015
As Nigeria continue to speak up on their expectations of the incoming administration to be headed by President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, a prominent clergy in the South-south region, Bishop Emma Isong, says he pities most of the sycophants in APC because they have no idea who Buhari is.

Bishop Isong who is the General Overseer of the Christian Central Chapel International with headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State, expressed confidence in the track record and electoral promises of Buhari to tackle corruption and get Nigeria back on track.

His words, “I think Nigerians should now sit up in the days of Buhari and get ready to queue up on line and get ready to declare their asset and also get ready to go to work on time; they should get ready to speak the truth and drop sentiment and the people I am pitting most are the sycophants of the APC because they have no idea who this Buhari is, they just wanted to win election. It is now after APC victory, they are going to discover who Buhari is.”

He said most APC leaders would be in for a shocker with President Buhari. “APC chieftains need to know that Buhari is an exceptional person. I am not saying that an angel has come but a very different politician. Don’t forget that Buhari is not a politician, I see him as a reformist; that broom logo of APC fits him, he is a sweeper and all those who are carrying that broom should also get ready because Buhari when sweeping would not want to check whose documents are on the floor; so people that carry broom should be ready for the broom now because the broom may even sweep their owners.

Those are the people I pity. I do not pity anybody than those that are thinking and assuming that Buhari has come and their story may soon change because I see a man who said and I quote him “I am not coming to just rule Nigeria but I want to come and change and fight corruption”

The Bishop whose several prophesies have often come to passed gave another saying “there is going to be a panic, first month from May 29 to June 29; there is going to be that panic I will even advise those who are rushing to go and get appointment from Buhari’s government to wait a little bit and let the yam get cold so that they can eat well because very likely those that rush for the next appointment may soon be committing political suicide. The first thief to go is the one police will catch”

As far back as pre-2011 election, Bishop Isong had prophesied that Goodluck in the name of President Jonathan will carry him throw in 2011 polls and what will remain after the Goodluck will be Jonathan and if you read the story of Jonathan in the Bible you will know what will happen in subsequent (2015) elections. Explaining further, recently, he said Jonathan in the Bible does not rule. In the Bible Jonathan always handover; he always concede power, he always congratulate David. Jonathan is the man that went to David and said, it is my right to be King of Isreal but my father also have me in mind but I have handed over to you because I have sense that God want to use you to do something.

Adding, “I don’t know if you can agree with me that I have made that statement some time ago when I said that the name Goodluck has finished and that Jonathan is the remaining name and that may not see him through in 2015 elections.

Politics / Venezuela Eyes $100 Oil Price: Nigeria Should Team Up. by pegolala(m): 11:27am On May 18, 2015
Venezuela is pushing for a new
agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC
nations to stabilize oil prices, President
Nicolas Maduro said, in the most serious
indication yet of a renewed drive to boost
prices back to $100 per barrel.
Cash-strapped Venezuela has been a
historic price hawk, and a severe
recession and product shortages have
heightened Maduro’s need for a market
recovery.
“We’re currently working on a deal that
hopefully can materialize in June
regarding an announcement between
OPEC and some of the most important
(oil) producers in the world to finish
stabilizing the market in the second half
of the year,” he said after a meeting with
Qatar’s emir.
It is unclear how successful these efforts
may be now, with global Brent prices
having rebounded by nearly 50 percent
from their January lows to more than $65
a barrel.
His comments come a month after
Russian officials said they had been in
“unprecedentedly” active consultation
with OPEC nations, although there has
been no tangible result from those
discussions.
Officials from Russia, the world’s second-
largest producer, have given no sign that
they are willing to cut.
“It’s in the best interest of Venezuela and
OPEC for the price of (oil) to stabilize at
100 (dollars) in the medium term,”
Maduro said.
That view is at odds with many others in
OPEC, with most saying they do not
expect to see such prices for years to
come. Some OPEC sources have
suggested the group’s core Gulf members
are hoping for crude to equalize at around
$70 a barrel, in line with what analysts
are currently projecting for 2016.
Maduro himself said in January prices
would not return to $100, and told
citizens, “God will provide.”
The Organization of the Petroleum
Exporting Countries meets on June 5 in
Vienna. The group in November shot
down calls by price hawks including
Venezuela for an output cut.

Politics / Pressure Mounts On Obama To Attend Buhari’s Inauguration In Person by pegolala(m): 10:57pm On May 17, 2015
As the May 29 inauguration of Nigeria’s President-elect and the Vice President-elect draws closer, pressure is mounting on the White House on who to represent the United States at the event.

While the immediate past U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Johnnie Carson, is asking President Barack Obama to send his deputy, Vice President Joe Biden, to lead the American delegation to the event, a pro-Africa U.S. lobby group in Washington DC and the Christian Association of Nigerian-Americans, CANAN are requesting President Obama to attend the event himself.

In a press statement over the weekend Mr. Carson, who had advised Obama as the most senior government official on Africa (after the Secretary of State) until late 2013, however, requested that the U.S. President visit Nigeria in July while heading out to East Africa as already announced.

The U.S. President is not ready yet to announce a delegation to the Nigeria’s presidential swearing-in ceremony on May 29. according to Natalie Wozniak, a White House spokesperson.

But such an announcement is expected in the forthcoming week based on traditional practices by the White House. There has been news reports and claims that Mr. Obama is planning to send a high-powered, presidential scale delegation possibly led by his wife, the VP or the U.S. Secretary of State.
Specifically regarding the Buhari-Osinbajo inauguration, Ambassador Carson noted that “President Obama should send a high level delegation to President Buhari’s inauguration in Abuja on May 29.

According to him, “this delegation should be led by Vice President Joe Biden, who engaged with both President Jonathan and with president-elect Buhari in the run-up to the presidential election.”

Continuing, the former U.S. official said if Mr. Biden “is unable to go, Secretary of State John Kerry, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson or Agriculture Secretary Thomas Vilsack should lead the delegation, which should include senior officials from several cabinets departments, including the Department of Defense.”

In a similar vein, CANAN and another leading U.S. group released separate statements outrightly asking the US President to be personally present at the May 29 event in Abuja.

The group-Constituency for Africa- is considered one of the leading organizations in the US “committed to educating and mobilizing the US public on matters pertaining to Africa.”

Its president, Melvin Foote, in the statement argued that “last month, Nigeria completed its election process in a peaceful and transparent manner. While the U.S. applauded this positive feat, our involvement cannot conclude just yet. In fact, in some ways, it is only just beginning — which is why I strongly urge President Barack Obama to attend the inauguration of President-Elect Mohammadu Buhari on May 29.”

He stated that “President Obama’s presence at this historic inauguration would send the right signal at the right time. This election was a landmark victory for democracy in Africa and for struggling people elsewhere around the world, and his participation would make a powerful statement of hope and renewal. Nigeria is in the balance. While it is dealing with a brutal terrorism campaign in the north, and multiple other development challenges elsewhere across the country — still it is the largest economy in a very important part of the world and – is poised to achieve much more in the years ahead.”

CANAN, in its own statement asked Mr. Obama to consider attending the Buhari-Osinbajo inauguration as a means of further spurring the democratic fervour and ferment which is currently at play in the country.

According to the National Secretariat of CANAN, “while with the help of the LORD, Nigerians take the lead in the credit for the successful elections, the role of the US President and government cannot be over-emphasized.

“We remember how President Barack Obama took time to personally record and send an official White House video message to Nigerians ahead of the presidential elections, saying all the right things.
By attending the inauguration personally, Obama will cap the whole affair graciously and end the controversial fallouts of the exclusion of Nigeria in his prior visits to Africa. CANAN wishes the President take a very deep reflection on this matter and add a great spur to the ferment of change that is ongoing in Nigeria by being personally present at the Buhari-Osinbajo inauguration on May 29. It will set a new tone not only in US-Nigeria relations, but in US relationship with Africa as a whole.”

In his statement urging Mr. Obama to visit Nigeria in July when he is scheduled to visit Kenya and Ethiopia, Mr, Carson said “it would be deeply troubling for many Nigerians to see Africa’s largest democracy snubbed at this important moment in its history.

Mr. Carson who advised Obama on Africa all through his first term in office and beyond conceded that “relations between Abuja and Washington have frayed over the past two years, largely over security issues and differences over the handling of Boko Haram.”

He suggested that by sending a high powered delegation to the presidential inauguration in Nigeria and then dropping by in Nigeria on his way to East Africa in July, President Obama can bring about a new beginning between Nigeria and the U.S. with the emergence of the Buhari-Osinbajo presidency.

Politics / Ekiti: Fayose Knows About Kidnap – APC Action Group by pegolala(m): 5:23pm On May 17, 2015
The Action Group of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
says it has no doubt that Governor Ayodele Fayose is the
principal sponsor of the renewed spate of kidnap in Ekiti
State in recent times.
The group said “the governor, who is both
the Chief Security Officer cannot deny his
knowledge of and involvement in the
kidnapping, which has again reared its
head in Ekiti State, even when it has
abated in other places, be it directly or
precariously”.
The group, through its spokesperson,
Segun Dipe, recalled how Governor
Fayose through his media goons had
earlier allegedly threatened to make the
state inaccessible for the APC Group of 19
lawmakers should they refuse to back
down from their plans to impeach him.
Dipe also recalled that the APC lawmakers
had equally raised the alarm over plot to
use a stop-and –search security operation
to arrest them and thus block them from
impeaching the governor.
They also alleged of attempts at
kidnapping their family members,
particularly their children.
Dipe recollected how the APC Action
Group had alarmed and condemned the
plan to kidnap the senator representing
Ekiti Central, Senator Babafemi Ojudu,
who was erroneously linked to the
impeachment plan and how the group
had called on the police and other
security agencies to investigate the
matter but nothing was done.
Dipe said Fayose knew where those being
kidnapped were kept.
“We were not crying wolf where there
was none when a Senator-Ojudu look-
alike was kidnapped by some roughnecks
only to be released later when they
discovered that he was not the actual
Senator Ojudu they were looking for.
“Today, no fewer than six people are in
the nest of the kidnappers as a result of
the kidnap operations carried out in the
various towns and villages within the
state in the last three weeks without any
known ransom demanded by the
kidnappers regarding any of the
kidnapped. This has raised fears that they
were either kidnapped for ritual purposes
or to put Ekiti in a state of fair, and this
has created sorrow and tears in the
different homes where their loved ones
are missing.
APC Action Group however asked the
police not to look far in its search for the
kidnappers and their sponsor, since
everyone, including the deaf and the blind
are aware that Governor Fayose is
camping some thugs he imported into the
state from various places, including Osun
and Niger Delta in the government house
and those ones are being unleashed on
real and perceived enemies of the
governor.
“We have a governor that is not afraid to
do any evil. We have a governor that is
impunity-personified. We have a governor
who rears thugs and has turned the state
to the nest of killers. We have a governor
who barricades all entry points into Ekiti
State at will. We have a governor who
beats up judges and sends the house of
assembly members packing from the
state, thus turning himself to a
paramount ruler. We have a governor
who governs by brawn and brute without
any respect for the constitution of the
land. We have a governor who will whip
up all forms of lies against those who call
him to order. And we have a governor
whose past points to the fact that he can
kidnap and kill. So what other proof does
the police or any security agency need to
look at his direction for the culprits.
“Kidnapping was strange to Ekiti until the
first term of the same Governor Fayose
between 2003 when he became governor
and 2006 when he ran away. Between
2006 and 2014, no case of kidnap was
reported in the state, only to resurface
again with this second coming of the
same Governor Fayose”, it stated.
Meanwhile, the APC Action Group has
made a clarion call to all well meaning
Ekiti sons and daughters, including lovers
of the state, to raise their voices in
condemnation of the nefarious activities
of the governor and his kidnapping team
to stop putting homes in sorrow and the
state in the news for all the negative
reasons.
Should Fayose fail to heed the sane call,
the APC Action Group said it would not
hesitate to lead other like-minds in a
protest match to meet Gov. Fayose in his
office and demand for the unconditional
release of the innocent souls he had been
kidnapping.

Politics / Nigerians Should Pity Me and Buhari, Not Congratulate Us:El- Rufai by pegolala(m): 5:10pm On May 17, 2015
Kaduna State Governor-elect, Malam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai has urged Nigerians to stop congratulating him and General Muhammadu Buhari but rather pray for them to succeed with the bankrupt economy they are inheriting.

El-Rufai said the President-elect and himself are inheriting governments that are in bad situation, adding that, it has become so bad ‎that the President Goodluck Jonathan led government had to obtain loan to pay salaries.

He spoke at two functions held at Arewa House in Kaduna Sunday. The events were: special reception for elected officials by Kaduna Peoples’ Association (KAPA) and Special prayer for them by APC Yoruba Political Forum.

El-Rufai told KAPA that, Kaduna State has incurred debt to the tune of over N90billion, an amount which he said may increase to N100billion before the May 29 handing over ceremony.

He therefore assured that his government will not share the public fund to any persons or group, no matter how highly placed they are.

Similarly at the Yoruba Political‎ Forum’s event, the Governor-elect who was showered with prayers for the success of his administration said the incoming government needed nothing better than prayers.
According to him, “when people call me to congratulate me or come to congratulate me and General Buhari, I always tell them, thank you, but what we need is your sympathy and prayers. This is because, myself and Generl Buhari are taking over bankrupt governments; it is so bad that, the Jonathan administration is finding it difficult to pay salaries, in fact, they had to obtain loan to pay salaries.

“In the case of Kaduna State, ‎the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s government has incurred debt to the tune of over N90 billion, and this may get to N100 billion before May 29. Therefore, what you have done is exactly what we need to succeed”, El-Rufai said.

He however charged other elected officials to be ready to work for the people who elected them and remove greed and selfishness in the discharge of their duties, adding that, if they fail to work for the people, they will chase them out the way they did to the PDP.

While assuring that his government will not segregate and discriminate among indegenes and settlers, El-Rufai noted that the Yoruba community has lived peacefully in Kaduna for over a century.
‎He said himself and General Buhari will forever remain grateful to the Yoruba community for the overwhelming support given to them during their elections, adding that, Yoruba people have become very powerful anchor of national unity.

In his remarks, the Convener of the Special Prayer, Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje said the prayer was informed by the high expectations of Nigerians on General Buhari and El-Rufai.

” People must respectively and collectively pray for the incoming administration for the overall interest of Nigerians, ” Alawuje said.

Education / We’ll Expose Saboteurs Behind Jonathan’s Defeat, Says Ekweremadu’s C’ttee by pegolala(m): 11:07am On May 16, 2015
THE post-election assessment committee
of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP
yesterday vowed that it would expose all
party members who played one role or
the other to sabotage the second term
ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan
as well as the interest of the party in
other elections irrespective of how high
the persons may be.
According to the Post- Election
Committee which has the Deputy Senate
President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu as
Chairman, it would collect memoranda
from all stakeholders in the party, just as
it promised to be fair to all.
Addressing Journalists, secretary of the
committee, Dr Walid Jubrin, who denied
that the committee did not enjoy the
blessings of the major stakeholders of the
party, stressed that that they got the
blessings of President Jonathan, the Vice
President, Namadi Sambo, Board of
Trustees Chairman, Tony Anenih and the
Senate President, David Mark.
The PDP, it will be recalled lost the
presidency during the March 28
Presidential election after sixteen years of
leadership to the Presidential candidate of
the All Progressives Congress, APC,
General Muhammadu Buhari, retd.
Following this set back, the National
Working Committee, NWC of the party
last week inaugurated the Ekweremadu
led 15-member Committee.
Besides ascertaining the immediate and
remote causes for the failure of the party
at the 2015 polls, other terms of
reference given to the committee, were
to “ascertain the degree of anti-party
activities, compromises and outright
sabotage that may have contributed to
the misfortunes of our party at the
elections.”
They were also mandated “To look at the
funding of the elections to determine
whether or not the funds meant for the
campaigns were adequate and whether
disbursements were properly done.”
But Jubrin who described the assignment
given to the committee as very important
said, “we will be very fair to all, we will
not leave any stone unturned, we will not
fear anybody. Anybody who is found
wanting we will say so and we will state
what we have found.”
He however appealed to aggrieved
members to be calm adding that it will be
unfair to preempt the outcome of the
committee’s report.
He further added that PDP was ready for
repairs adding “we have accepted we are
in the opposition and our opposition will
be fair and not crude with reasoning and
logic. It will be truitful for Nigerians. We
won’t abuse anybody”.
He noted that the three weeks time-
frame given to them by the party would
be extended if necessary.
