It was my first time driving out of town and I can confidently say driving through the scenic mountains of Arizona was the scariest moment of my trip. The bends, twists and turns was just ridiculous and it ran for more than 4 miles. These pictures didn't exactly do justice to the bends and scary roads that run through the mountains of Arizona.

Who’s going to pay for the house-help service?

If she was working or have a job, I can understand that.

Maybe you are requesting for a male house help and as a contractor who is always traveling he wouldn't allow that. Yell us the truth abeg. I don't think any man would stop a female house help and if you are concerned about your man fvking the female house help get an elderly female house help.

Xerona:
Hello Nairalanders, there is an issue at hand.
I have two kids and recently gave birth to the third few months ago. It's been really difficult for me since I practically do most of the house chores... my husband is hardly around because of work.

I came down with this strange disturbing headache that doesnt go away. So I went to see a doctor and she said the headache was as a result of postpartum stress and lack of sleep.

The truth is I'm awake most of the time because of the baby or when I'm attending to other household matter. I haven't had a good sleep in a long while. So when the doctor suggested I get a house help so I can find time and sleep when shes holding the baby. I knew she she was on point. But the problem is my husband, he wouldn't hear of it, he doesn't want us to get any househelp...

I even pleaded with him and made him see reasons why I needed help, but he refused... I'm beginning to think I ended up with the wrong person because I dont understand why anyone would deliberately want to subject their wife to this kind of torture.

My kids are age 5, 2 and 3 months... I go to the market, cook, clean, i even do school run too...He's a contractor and will be travelling back to work next week.. yet he doesn't want me to get help...
Properties / Re: Can 11 Million Naira Build This Kind House? by Perfectscribe(m): 6:59pm On Apr 22, 2023
I can tell you for free that 11 million naira CANNOT complete that building. If anybody tells you 2-8 million can build this type of house. The person is still leaving in 1985 when that type of money have value.

I checked the typed of roof used, I checked the physical structure, clearly 11 million will go a long way. Most times it is the type of materials and the type of finishing that takes the most part. I didn't see the interior so I cannot speak much but on the face level, 14 million will get you close.

How much does it cost to build this house in Nigeria?

Just imagine if Amechi had won the APC presidential primary... Lol, Wike was already prepared to scatter that one.

Wike should thread as he like, he is also likely to visit EFCC after his tenure. That one sure die because, Nigerians are interested to know how he got the $$ and the buses spent and used during PDP primaries.
We are watching and waiting.

alexistaiwo:
So on 6th of December, I set out to buy the infinix hot 4 at the price of #38,000. When I got to the 3c hub store, I was so awestruck by the sleek design of the w5 lite that I ended purchasing it for #40k. My friends were like what came over me since I am a vocal critic of techo always calling them substandard.
But they don't understand that change is constant . Techno all the way!!!!!!!

In my view, an Infinix 4 Lite is better..... AM looking at a 4000mah battery as against 3,000 and a superior picture quality at a lesser price for that matter. My view sha...
Phones / I Need Advice On What To Do...gionee M5 Mini, Techno L8 And Infinix Hot4 Phones by Perfectscribe(m): 12:05pm On Dec 06, 2016
I wish to get a new phone but am confused on what is my best option. What I prefer is a phone that will give me the best value for my money especially the battery life and solid screen(those that don't get crack easily). I noticed that the L8 has a battery capacity of 5050mah, is this not a marketing stunt? can a 4000mah battery last longer if they are both use for thesame purpose? please help me consider the screen durability also..... Thanks.... I look forward to your expert advise...

Selection of candidates for the 7th Batch Training of the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC)

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 21 September 2016: An AUC panel met to shortlist the candidates for the 7th Batch Training of the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps. The panel consisted of representatives of AUC departments and units. A total of 5600 applications were received from call for applications between the 2nd and 22nd of August 2016 and 100 candidates were selected from all 54 AU Members States representing the five regions of Africa; for the training which will take place in October 2016. To ensure transparency and accountability in the selection process, a panel comprised of representatives from AUC Departments and Units was instituted. The selection meeting took place from the 20 – 21st September at the AUC Headquarters.

His Excellency the Commissioner of HRST, Dr Martial De-Paul Ikounga met with the selection team to encourage them. In his brief address he called upon the members of the team to exercise a high level of transparency and integrity and wished them as they finalize the selection. Selected candidates will be notified in due course.

The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) is African Union’s Initiatives for youth capacity building, empowerment and meaningful participation through volunteer work at a continental level and by virtue contribute towards an integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa. The program is in line with the African Youth Charter and Assembly Decision by AU Heads of State and Government (Assembly/AU/Dec.274 (XVI) January 2010) “to launch and implement an African Union Youth Volunteer Corps”. AU-YVC was officially launched on the 3rd of December 2010 in Abuja, Nigeria.

AU-YVC recruits and works with young professionals age 18-35 from across the Continent and the Diaspora, to serve for a period of 12 months in their respective fields of expertise in an AU Member State other than their own. Priority areas of deployment of the AU-YVC include: Education; Entrepreneurship; Health; Institutional capacity building; Information and Communication Technology; Peace building and Post Conflict Reconstruction.

It is expected that shortlisting of successful candidate should have been done by now. We understand that the September is the expected date. Please who has been shortlisted or who has any NEWS for this batch?
Nairaland / General / What If Everything We've Read About Npower Is So True? by Perfectscribe(m): 2:21pm On Sep 21, 2016
smiley I am moved by the outcry of many applicants on the on-going Npower online test. While some are finding it difficult to login (invalid password, invalid login e.t.c) some have successfully completed the test. It was claimed on their website that the process will be fair and open to all. I believe those words are true, do you? For those that are having challenges with login, never give up, may the Lord bless your hustle.....
