As promised, here is my story:

- IELTS: LRSW 8 8.5 8.5 8 One attempt
- CRS: 413 ITA cut off: 413
- POF: I edited amount Post-ITA to exactly 12,300CAD and did not write LOE. Gift deed was 90% of POF from my uncle. I got the bank reference letter in CIC format from UBA, so I did not attach statements of accounts.
- NOC code: I edited the NOC code post ITA and did not write LOE.
- Employment: I used my NYSC experience from 7 years ago alone. Got a reference letter from ppa and that was all I attached. No complimentary cards or proof of payment. Presently unemployed as well.
- I submitted schedule A upfront as I had 3 US visa denials in the past.
- LOE: I attached LOE in individual placeholders as needed eg LOE for FBI PCC in Police reports, LOE for gift deed in POF etc. Non-specific ones were in LOE placeholder.

Can you have gaps in employment? YES. Can you apply while unemployed? YES. Can you edit NOC and POF post ITA? YES. Can you use a gift deed? YES. Can you use NYSC? YES pls! Was I determined? YES. Was I the most qualified? NO! The Lord looked upon me in His mercy and love and honoured me. I remain forever grateful.
My gratitude goes to Mummyjaygirls, Wura27, 40manlappy, LordSebastian, Cypha8, Temitope06, Java47 and numerous others. Thank you for replying my PMs, sending formats and answering my numerous questions on the forum. Nairaland family is the best!
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. I am glad I took that step.

Congratulations

Based on some analysis on immtracker and pple's input on Canadian visa forum. It takes about 6 weeks for ur file to get transferred. Mine too 7 weeks before it was transferred to LVO. I know of someone whose file took 3 months before transfer. So you are still on course. To when when your file has been transferred, your additional documents status will change to "we do not need additional documents"

Hello dtush, pls I need further clarification on the bold part. My additional documents changed to " we do not need additional documents" last week from "additional document submitted is being reviewed" does that mean my application has been transferred to LVO? I had ADR in September.

Good morning to u all, I have been a silent follower of this thread for a some months now and really want to appreciate all of you that have proffered solutions to other people and also to the MAJOR CONTRIBUTORS that are never tired of answering questions and giving suggestions on how to go about the process; KUDOS to you for the selflessness. This thread make me to believe so much that if our dear country NIGERIA is a given a chance, LOVE as shown to each other on this thread will solve all the problems the country is facing.

Please Sirs/MAs, I just to want to initiate the process from the scratch (i.e. from Int'l passports and rest) but I will require guidance from you all to put me through as I progress in the process. I have done a bit of research by visiting the CIC and other relevant websites for more information on the process but you guys first hand experience is much better. We shall get our Int'l passports (me and spouse) before the week runs out and that of our 2 kids later (i.e. after our English tests and ECA).

Canreach immigration have called me a couple of times but I believe with you guys here, there is no need for their services and there fees is too way high.

In conclusion, I need answers to the following questions from you guys for a start:
1-should I wait for IELTS result before paying for transcript and ECA, how long is the validity of assessment?
2-at what stage do is the kids Int'l passports' numbers are required?
3-at what stage do we need POF?
4-the grading system for points as I really don't understand how this is calculated too well. I wish to get points for spouse language and education.
5-Canreach suggested Nova Scotia for PNP, please is the province ok?
6-Lastly, for ECA; which option is the best- WES, IQSA and the rest?

Profile:
Age-35yrs
Degree-Bsc
Prof. cert- ICAN ACA
Work experience-10yrs
NOC-1111-Financial auditors & Accountant.
spouse Age-28yrs
Degree- BSc
NOC-1111-Financial auditors & Accountant.
work exp-4-5yrs.

I really appreciate your responses.

Using ur wife's details and just her qualifications only without evaluating your own certificates and both of you scoring these marks in IELTS ie LWSR 8777 ur CRS will be 423.

Hello everyone,

@40manlappy and other gurus in the house.

I just found out that my spouse too will have to submit reference letters from all the coys in his work history since it on EE profile.

My questions are

Can I delete it post-ITA from work history in the e-APR and put it in the personal history. I know the profile is locked post -ITA.

Also if he transfers money to account for the POF must he include his statement of account or write LOE.

Please which bank in Nigeria gives statement of account that meets the requirements of CIC. Currently, I only use my savings account with GTB and I have read it on this platform that they won't obey the request for a statement that fulfills the CIC requirements.

My reference letter also has a date error, instead of Jan 2006 to Dec 2007 they mistakenly put Jan 2006 to Dec 2006 but in the first paragraph the dates were stated correctly. Even though I have contacted HR, they are yet to reply. Can I submit it or I should wait for them to rectify it.

Thanks in advance to the gurus for answering my questions

Hi -

It is your home address only. I assume when you were away at Uni and for NYSC you had a primary address (i.e. home address) which you return(ed) to. Don't make things complicated - just stick to your home address.

Hope this helps...?

Yes..

Thank you.

Since you are the principal applicant, I want to believe your husband is listed as accompanying you. If that is the case, then it is very simple, let him simply transfer the fund you need to your account and you will write an LOE that he has transferred that amount for your immigration plan since he's also accompanying you. He won't have to show bank statement except you need to show the transaction receipt from his account to your account.

Try to also attach some document that shows where he's working and an hint about his financial capability.

I don't think your current status will affect you in any way since you already meet the requirement by being given ITA.

Good morning everyone, to all d gurus in d house pls I need your help. Its about POF. I have been a stay-at-home Mom (full time home wife) for 3 years.

I m the Principal Applicant because my CRS score is higher than my husband's. We got our ITA from the last draw.

My questions are

1. Must my husband submit his statements from all his accounts in different banks?

2. We plan to use Fixed Deposit and the money will be sourced from family and friends how can we go about it without using gift deed or LOE?

3. Can the FD be in my husband's name or it must be from my account?

4. My six month bank statement can never justify the Fund, but can my husband submit his Salary account and another account that has huge inflows every now and then and the money sourced will be in another account (3rd account) where the FD will be raised or transferred to my account to be raised?

P.S. the second account always has inflows because he's helping someone abroad on a project so the money don't stay for long in d account and d inflow has reduced now?

4. Can my current status of being a stay at home Mom affect our application?

5. I overstayed in the UK in 2014 by 2 days because I missed my flight. Do I have to declare this when applying and will it also affect our application?

Pls all d gurus in d house ur answers will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

His current visa is valid for the duration of his passport. For OWP, off the top of my head, it's proof of marriage, funds, medical and home ties I believe.

@jojcanada and anybody that can help pls I'm thinking of applying for PGD in Accounting in Canada, I have 2 kids that are below 2 years and I don't want to leave them in Nigeria. My hubby plan to stay in Nigeria and come visiting anytime. Is there a chance of being granted visa if I applied with my babies. I read from ur thread that ur husband has been granted visa after few days...can my hubby apply as my dependant when I get there even though he doesn't plan to stay or it must be visit visa. I m very much particular about my babies.
