Your question has been answered. But I don't see why you deem it fit to particularly ask Atheists, what caused or how thunder and lightening came into existence.

That is a question for Physicists, Environmental/weather scientists or perhaps, geologists. Atheists, are not required to have answers to these things. We are not walking dictionaries. We only disbelieve in all gods, including yours. That's just it.

Most churches in other countries have been seen to be involved in one form of humanitarian activities or the other.

When it come to cajoling members into parting with their money, Nigerian church are known to excel in that.

Don't be a pessimist, let's commend the lagos state government. Cost of living is high in a cosmopolitan city like Lagos. With high purchasing power comes increased demand for goods and services which is a catalyst for industrial growth. Employment opportunities will ultimately increase and it is a win - win for workers, traders, and the government who will rake in more revenue from taxes.
