oladele00:
Almost everyone on social media voiced former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun into resigning. Some even asked that the President remove her to prove that he's truly fighting corruption. When the brilliant woman saw that she truly erred by submitting a fake NYSC Exemption certificate, she did the honourable thing. She tendered her resignation letter and left. She RESIGNED!
By that time, those of you ethnic jingoists didn't see Kemi as a Southerner. You screamed at her, cyber bullied her and even hurled abuses at her. Now it is the turn of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, who admitted himself that he 'forgot' to declare his domiciliary accounts which was loaded with £23,409, €49,971 and $391,401, including 55 houses undeclared, and by so doing, he breached the Code of Conduct as a Public officer and was suppose to have resigned straightaway if he had any modicum of honour, integrity and shame as the custodian of the Nigerian Law, but he didn't. Instead, he was doing everything to stall his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. All those times, you didn't call for his resignation the same way you did with Kemi, you didn't bully him to resign the way you bullied Kemi, you were instead urging him to stay on, you were drumming support for him and some of you that were deceiving yourselves with your forming neutrality didn't say anything all this while too, you deliberately turned dumb. When it was first revealed a fortnight ago that the Chief Justice of Nigeria didn't declare his domiciliary accounts with dollars starched in it, all you were vituperating was that the President wanted to remove him because he's a southerner. You acted dumb on the offence he committed. Now that the CJN has been suspended, those of you fake neutralists are now crying foul. You're screaming that democracy is in danger. Can y'all see how nonsensically hypocritical you are? Your hypocrisy is legendary. Your hypocrisy stinks. You shouted and bullied Kemi Adeosun into resignation but aiding Onnoghen who can't explain how he got the foreign currencies starched in his domiciliary accounts which he didn't declare plus 55 houses. A whooping 55 houses.
Instead of the CJN to resign honourably and go clear himself, he was busy running from pillar to post buying injunctions to stop the case against him. Just a couple of days ago, another $630,000 and $800,000 was discovered in his separate domiciliary accounts again. Y'all pretended you didn't see the news, abi? Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.
Arrant nonsense.

PDP ARE SUPPORTER OF CORRUPTION

You honestly are missing the point.

We like to characterise people that criticize this government ad PDP.

We have a constitution that spells out devolution of power into 3 arms of government. No arm of government is subservient to the other. they both co-equals.

The moment we decide that we can jettison a rule of law to the whims and caprices of a single person then we have entered into anarchy.

A nation is great because the rules are followed and no one is bigger than the law, regardless of the title the person bares.

Politics / Re: Signature Forgery: Ann Nat. Sec Sues Fela Durotoye/emmanuel Dania by pgoks: 5:50pm On Oct 06, 2018
Wisesaying:
Following their realization that INEC did not recognize the kangaroo presidential primaries conducted by Emanuel Dania and his cohorts in AN1N, the FD team are panicking and devised a means to blackmail INEC and hoodwink the entire world by hurriedly putting together a certificate of return and presented to FD.

This is now in wide circulation since it was released. A quick review of the certificate shows that the signature of the ANN National Secretary, Alhaji Sahid Umar was forged. Following this, the National Secretary has initiated criminal proceedings to bring the perpetrators to book.

Recall that, in his many schemes to make himself the presidential candidate of ANN by all means, FD masterminded the Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) initiative. Our investigation then revealed that, working with some of his colleagues who knew they had no chance in the race, they convinced Kingsley Moghalu to participate in the process giving him guarantees that he will emerge victorious. We also learned that Oby Ezekwesili was hoodwinked to be an umpire to give legitimacy to the process.

The sub plot of the PACT arrangement was that, having emerged as the consensus candidate in a field of 17 aspirants from various parties, ANN will be left with no choice than to accept FD as its Presidential candidate. Of course we all know what became of PACT, any house built of spittle will not stand.

It is not enough to mouth or teach integrity but it should permeate every fabric of our being. FD and Emmanuel Dania's actions have shown that they are not worthy of leadership positions

I truly enjoyed the read. A point of note , is our our leaders never write books about their various times in the history of Nigeria.

Perhaps, former president Obasanjo is the only one that has written and published books that give is sneak preview into different times in our political history.

it would be nice for general Gowon to write, Tinubu etc. We need these various recounts to enrich our history and to endear our citizens to nationhood.
Politics / Re: Fela Durotoye Begs Nigerians To Donate Money For Presidential Nomination Form by pgoks: 7:52am On Sep 13, 2018
sellamarket:
A Presidential aspirant, Fela Durotoye has called on Nigerians to donate towards the purchase of a N3.5 million nomination form to enable him contest in the presidential primary election of the Alliance for a New Nigeria (ANN).

The leadership expert and business coach took to his Twitter account on Wednesday, to urge Nigerians to donate at least N1000 each to his campaign to enable him purchase the nomination form and cover other campaign cost.

He posted, “I need you to donate at least N1000 or whatever you can to purchase a nomination form (N3.5M) & to cover the cost of team travel across the nation in preparation for the Party primaries on September 29th, 2018.

“I know it’s a sacrifice, but like I’ve always said you’re the only cabal I have and will ever need.”

The aspirant further published the financial report of his campaign so far to prove that he’s running a transparent campaign that is accountable to donors and Nigerians.

Durotoye was one of the 18 presidential aspirants who formed Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) coalition in July 2018 and resolved to get behind one consensus candidate to contest against President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

Last month he was elected the consensus candidate even though it led to the exit of a few members of the coalition who expressed reservations about the electoral process.

We the people must now become the cabals. what we have had in our country is where a few godfathers drop all the monies for an election and then recoup the funds back when the stooge they sponsor gets in power.

so we see elected officials loyal to godfathers and not the people. they know who brought or bought them into power.

we must now reverse the sequence if we want development in our land. it's been said He who pays the piper calls the tune. Lets call the tune

This proves the government has no idea in creating wealth. What can N5,000 do?
