This is no good news.
Gej (the supposedly corrupt president and
the cause of all problems in Nigeria) made it
N87 when the price of crude oil came down
to around $67 per barrel. Now crude oil is
around $35 per barrel and and pmb (the
apc's messiah, saint, saviour, 'god', etc) is
talking of N85 per lit of pms (if the info is
true) and some people are rejoicing.
I am sorry for this company. oh sorry,
country.

He brought it down to N87 whilst still paying huge subsidy that the real amount is shrouded in secrecy. That means the real price you were buying could be N120+. So if this government brings it down to N87 and don't pay any subsidy I think something has been achieved. Hope you understand.

Only when GEJ and the 40 thieves have returned all they stole and properly prosecuted.
Tomorrow, if this same Falana calls for the prosecution of GEJ for supervising the looting of our treasury I hope you will be here to drop this same comment?

When Ihedioha 1st told that lie he got a response from Okorocha.

N600m for Christmas
decoration: Okorocha
slams Ihedioha
By Ameh Comrade Godwin on December 4, 2015 @dailypostngr
Imo State Governor, Rochas Owelle Okorocha has replied former Deputy Speaker of the House of
Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, over his recent media attack on him.
Ihedioha had claimed that the governor was earmarking
N600 million for decorations for the yuletide season.
Speaking through a press statement signed by his Chief
Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, the governor said he
was shocked that Ihedioha decided to attack him in the
media without verification.

“On our part, we feel for Chief Ihedioha, that, a former
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and a
member of that House for 12 years, could rush to the media
to attack the governor over what he claimed to have read
about the governor earmarking N600million for decorations,
and not that the governor has spent the amount on the
issue, and he could not also disclose the source of the
report for it to be believed”, Onwuemeodo stated.

Onwuemeodo also challenged Chief Ihedioha and the PDP
to catalogue and publish their achievements for the 12
years they governed the state and let Governor Okorocha
publish his own achievements for the period he has held
sway.

“We also challenge Chief Ihedioha to tell Imo people why the
Owerri-Port Harcourt road, Aba-Owerri road, Umuahia-
Owerri road could not be finished when he was number
seven citizen in the country as the Deputy Speaker of House
of Representatives.

“Let him also publish the list of NDDC projects for the state
and the contractors,” Onwuemeodo said.

I thought I was going to read the actual amounts and the true picture of things. If someone alleges you used N600m in decorations in a state where people are suffering I think it should be of urgency for you to give a correct counter narrative absent of which you are fully culpable.
It's all over the media and till this morning no reasonable correct counter narrative. I will conclude Okorocha is a disappointment to Imolites.

They take a cue from the Anini government your brother led.
As at last year, east west road contract of 300+km has taken N726b and still remain largely uncompleted. In sane countries all involved should be in jail.

Have you ever asked to see similar documents in your state and other states? Just try your best and find out how much these same projects cost in the SS states. I have done for Delta state and I can tell you you will burst into tears when you see them. What was released for Fashola was just to embarrass him politically because government contract costs are very very exorbitant and generous across most of the states. What you see in that document is child's play compared to what it is in Delta state and of course there is no media attention to our government affairs here down south.

FACTS ONLY: Nigerians are the easiest people to scam on earth. Reasons why we have lots of churches/pastors with multiple jets and live like megastars yet very few honorable men. All one need to do in Nigeria to get sympathy of the people is just to wear a cassock with a bible and TELL the people you are man of God and that is it. Nigerians do not care about what you do but what you say, they like hearing sweet words.

GEJ have studied all these and decided to scam the people with these words and lots have fallen for him. Only some few lines that was definitely written by an aide maybe even without his knowledge has thrown lots of Nairalanders into a pensive mood like a guy who just met his crush of 10yrs.

For all of you information, GEJ is not as gentle and simple looking as Lawrence Anini of old. Lawrence was a very nice man. Scratch that.

That is not what I'm saying old man, what I. Saying is that the same project GEJ did that APC criticized and ridiculed is what they r posing with as if its them who did the project... Kapish??

GEJ and co vilify OBJ today because he withdrew his support for them. Meanwhile all the gas turbines and power plants GEJ and co have been claiming were procured and delivered by OBJ plus award and paid for all their installations. Kapish??

There's no government, no matter how bad they were like the overtly vilified Abacha's, that never did anything. What most criticism is all about is how much was spent vis a vis what was achieved. If you follow events in the HOR you would have watched former NRC chairmen being quizzed about trillions of Naira spent on our railway system in the last 5yrs. Don't be too quick into jumping in defence of mismanagers of our economy.

if these miscreants can treat a full convoy of the COAS like that imagine what they would have done to other helpless road users.

No Nigerian under whatever guise have the right to prevent others the use of public road without permission from the appropriate quarters but these miscreants actually turn themselves to the authority on the road and vowed to prevent others from using it .

I will love to be as calm as the military officers I saw on that video begging some ragtag extremists to allow the COAS to pass through a government road. I don't have such patience. If this happens anywhere in the US they will all be wiped and termed terrorists. Nonsense, just because they have Iran backing.

Firstly, I used the words 'according to what was reported' to start the whole thing.

To answer your question, if the army shot first, that alone is enough to provoke even the meek. Nobody love to lose a friend, family or comrade in cold blood. Now who says they exchanged fire? Did any soldier sustain bullet injury or die? That's to tell you that the gunshot came from the army end.

So far, there is yet proof to show that the army was shot at BEFORE the massacre. Like I said, the sect have never been linked with ANY violence.

Still, army shooting first is an unsubstantiated account. Lots of lies on this issue. Am trying to post the video here.

The problem we have in Nigeria is lack of proper investigative journalism which leads to lack of proper documentation of events and also leading to lots of facts distortion. In a single incident you hear up to 100 different accounts all unsubstantiated. From lots of firsthand information I got from people in Kaduna and Zaria, most of the deaths recorded by Shiites were products of clash with another rival sects which equally have casualties on the same night of the incident.

Until Nigerian media will shun brown envelopes and do proper investigation in the vicinity of incidents we will continue to be receiving junks as accounts of incidents and form our opinion around them.

Jonathan was not in charge of anything but our treasury. If you think Dasuki was distributing billions and leaving Jonathan out then you are a learner. If he looked the other way then he had mega chops elsewhere and felt those sums where too small for him. Jonathan's government was a "shine your eye" government where everybody was just helping him/herself in wherever capacity you they found themselves.
The magazine that described him as one of the richest rulers in Africa had their facts very correct, if that government is probed in totality, Abacha's would be a child's play.
