Then your clothes, your foreign rice for Nigerian local rice around the same price, and so many other things

It can't work, even if they will do that they can't try it with the average Nigerian who have less than idle $20,000 in their dorm accounts.
Probably targeted at those with huge accounts that are idle.
What is the percentage of bank customer with N500,000 and above in Nigeria? Just 2%.
Percentage of dorm account holders with $5000 and above should be less than 1%.
I was in the bank yesterday, someone came to withdraw just $50 from his dorm account. I don't think government will target such people an average Nigerian trying to survive in a hostile economic environment
My opinion though Thank you Sir. CBN has debunked the news. 1 Like |

It also depends on your average cost price, someone who average cost price is less than N20 is different from someone whose average cost price is N70.
I sold half of my holdings at a profit of over 200% based on my average cost price buy a FGN bond at 15.8% yield which will pay coupons in March and September for the next 11 years Hello Sir. What do you think about the Govt converting money in dom accounts to Naira? What are your thoughts? |

Career / Re: Should I Japa Or Stay In Nigeria? by Phraences: 5:03pm On Dec 18, 2023 |
Miracle112: Hello Nlanders.. please I need advice on whether to relocate abroad or stay and invest in Nigeria . I just graduated from the university and Iâll turn 28 in a few months time. I come from a very poor family, I sponsored myself through the university as matter of fact I am the first graduate in the family. I am here to seek advice from experts and enlightened nairalanders. I have over 50m in real estate and I intend to sell 50% of my properties to raise funds for an online marketplace i intend to launch in Nigeria but Iâm having a double mind as thereâs no 100% guarantee that the business will succeed⊠Since I just graduated from the university, should I rather use 25m to relocate abroad and further my studies or stay in Nigeria and invest the 25m ? I donât want to regret selling my properties to relocate abroad for studies.. I donât even know if 25m would be enough to further my studies in any first world countries since Iâll have no support from family.
So my people, should I japa for studies with 25m or stay an invest in my fatherland?
For those wondering how I made over 50m as a fresh graduate. I didnât make the money in 1 day or 1 month. I do land banking, crypto trading and farming.
Don't sell properties o. Do you need 25m to relocate? I would have said grow the 50m to 100m first and then japa but every day the value of the Naira erodes. |

Your eye see well my brother, it from frying pan to fire.
African politicians will always want to die in power and they never give youths a good atmosphere to govern, Only youth can do what George Weah did as JEG did for Buhari. But when Buhari came in with his change agenda what changed? But more worse. I tell people, George Weah may not do better but they will see heal with this Old baba that is living with health support, a case study of Jonathan and Buhari. All these old power drunk politicians will use propaganda to spoil youths in power to drop the helm of the nationâs. But if itâs those Old politicians they can never leave it easily, they will manipulate anything possible to remain in power.
For Africa to grow we still need to ensure that our leaders are youths not old cargoes, donât let us fall for Old politicians propaganda itâs not a way forward Exactly, if it was this old man in power he would never have conceded defeat. In fact, he would have made sure there was no free and fair election. George Weah might have been a bad president but he did a very good thing by conceding. A power drunk person would never have done that. 1 Like |

you can imagine nations using taxpayer money to build weapons of mass destruction instead of utilizing it for important things, most government will rather fund wars than help their poor citizens. it seems we humans were made to be stupid and insensitive I laugh when people say this. Don't you know that sometimes you don't go looking for war but war comes to you? Money for the military is in the budget and agriculture, electricity etc is also in the budget. Good explanation. I didn't vote Tinubu but i have noticed journalism this days is about sensationalism. Even if Obi had entered the opposition would have criticized every single spending and made it seem he was spending for his personal benefit. The only issue is that the budget as usual would have been inflated. People will make money from it etc instead of buying 2022 Toyota they will buy 2019 version and pocket the change.
The issue is Nigerians are suffering in economic hardship and all these billions billions being called here and there will just annoy the poor more because with all the perks going to this politicians they are still greedy for more.
Take a look at Wike? When is enough enough? On top all the money he already has he doesn't want to let go. 1 Like 1 Share |
