Most people say English isnt a measurement of intelligence, well that's their opinion. Personally, i equate people style of enunciation to match thier level of intelligence quotient, I never get it wrong when i put you in a category of IQ range using your communication skill.

Here is the logic.

The more you read or get exposed to more vocabulary, you learn more words to easily express yourself. Which is in great contrast to people who weren't exposed to too many vocabulary hence, it gets difficult to express themselves and this often leads to conflict, misjudgement or even trouble because you lack the capability to express yourself due to few words in your brain.

Sex-for-grade is technically a form of trade-by-barter.
I don't think trade-by-barter is prohibited by the Nigerian constitution.

Why will a female student go to a lecturer to plead for grades?
Pleading for grades puts you in the precarious position of having to pay for the grades.
And it will be unfair or rather extortive of a lecturer to demand cash from female students who barely have any.

Life is simple,
Schooling is simpler.
If you are good, you'd definitely get the grade you deserve.
A good student begs no one for grades.
Most of these accusations are blackmails from non-performers who actually threw themselves at these lecturers.

The students are the owners of their heads, but the man is the owner of the school. If the owners of the head don't agree with the owner of the school, then let them take their heads elsewhere.

While what the man did may be wrong, he still has the power to decide what happens in the university.
