Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Affected by job withdrawal, how do yo cope? by pku(f): 1:17pm On Feb 21, 2012
A very touchy situation indeed. A friend called me late last month weeping profusely over the phone. She explained that she got a mail in her box
requesting them to meet on a weekend somewhere in V'I and she thought it was going to be a Training or briefing on the recent happenings in the
bank. Only for them to get there and the person who attended to them just ranted about nothing in particular only to be handed letters of disengagement.

This lady has put in over 13 yrs with this bank and this is killing her! Only God knows when they will be paid their entitlements at least this will enable her
find something to do on her own. She complained bitterly about idleness which she has never been used to for years.

Politics / Re: Jos Boils Again!. . .18 Confirmed Dead by pku(f): 12:04pm On Jan 12, 2011
No, not again! What is the permanent solution to this Jos crisis my people? How is it that several deaths and damages gone down, yet no one can arrest
this situation? This is just too sad!
Politics / Re: Falana Threatens To Sue Fg Over Schools’ Holiday Extension by pku(f): 2:07pm On Jan 10, 2011
It's quite sad that a country as big as Nigeria cannot effectively handle national matters like this without bringing condemnation
upon itself! For Heaven's sake, why would resumption of schools be postponed for one full month for elections sake? this isn't the
first time elections are being conducted. Any wonder schools results are getting poorer by the day when no attention is given to education.
Dumb country with even dumber leaders! mscheeeewwww!
Events / Re: How Can You Discribe This Year by pku(f): 11:38am On Dec 31, 2010
In the beginning the year started shakily- but in May God lifted me up with a sudden good job. My marriage too came alive after several struggles. My finances
improved, life returned to my home and am even looking greater. So many other testimonies to thank the Lord for; and hoping that 2011 will be a completion
of what God has started.

Family / Re: She Wants A Maid I Don't Like by pku(f): 10:26am On Dec 21, 2010
Ahh, nairalanders, una funny o! @ poster, the matter is a very simple one, but you're not handling it right.Your excuse for not wanting the maid is too lame.
Infidelity is a serious matter, talk less with maid. Tell your wife something better and get it done with immediately so she can start making fresh arrangements for
a replacement.

But I like your honesty, just try to back it up with choice words that will not raise any dust. It's not worth it at the end of the day.
Family / Re: Annoying Spousal Habits by pku(f): 12:41pm On Dec 16, 2010
1. It can be freaky sickly each time my huby uses the loo without flushing and this is done on a daily basis.
2. He is an extreme case of a disorganised soul- everything around him is SCATTERED!
3. He eats like a beast - soup stains evrywhere - very irritating!
4. Not a planner - just about everything is done by me or things will go wrong.
5. Responsibility is his enemy, hates it with a passion.
6. Likes to 'do' at the wrongest times, especially when I'm rushing for work.

So many my people, but me i no wan die early, have long moved to my own room - though he stil comes der wen am at work to scatter o, but i dont spare him with my tongue!

Health / Re: Nigerian Man Receives First Battery Operated Heart In The World by pku(f): 2:11pm On Oct 11, 2010
God! This kinda made me shed tears - tears of joy for the guy, his young family, the medical team, most of all -
God Almighty for knowledge and faithfulness.
Crime / Re: Policeman Impregnates Daughter 4 Times by pku(f): 11:16am On Oct 11, 2010
Oh my God! this is still happening in the year 2010? Only God in Heaven can adequately handle this idiot of a man. And to think that he's a Policeman!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: FCMB Again! Where Are Our Labour Laws? by pku(f): 7:39am On Jun 09, 2010
Poster, I feel you alright; I once worked for FCMB and was the most miserable for the 2yrs I was there. But last year, I made a decision to end it all. I resigned even without getting another job. But to God be the glory, today, I work for an organisation that is humane in ALL things and I am a happier person. Just work harder on your job search and know that God is not asleep, at His own time He will crown your effort with success. Don't give up please. It is well.

Big Man, for the response you ve given, God will surely bless you more. Majority of men do not reason that way. Even when they know the truth, will not admit it clearly the way you've done. I wish you could add more.

Guys, what say you?
Family / Re: Would You Marry Your Best Friend's Widow? by pku(f): 8:16am On May 28, 2010
What I feel is that noone ever plans to experience certain things in life; but somehow, fate or destiny forces one to be in a situation not planned for. I may not be able to do this, but I will not condemn anybody in that situation.

life itself is full of surprises!
Family / Re: Finding It Difficult Managing N80k Salary In Lagos With Family.what Shall I Do? by pku(f): 2:26pm On May 24, 2010
Soldee, this is truly a very good suggestion, I tell you if she is serious in no time, she will be laughing to the bank.
Family / Re: Finding It Difficult Managing N80k Salary In Lagos With Family.what Shall I Do? by pku(f): 1:50pm On May 24, 2010
Osiehumen, I totally agree with you. It's never too late.
God will be with the guy I pray that soon he will begin to soar.
It takes someone with a determination to succeed to open up the way the poster did.
Family / Re: Finding It Difficult Managing N80k Salary In Lagos With Family.what Shall I Do? by pku(f): 9:13am On May 24, 2010
All of you made very useful suggestions. What I've experienced is that no matter how much money one makes, nothing canbe achieved
without discipline and staying focused! Even the N80k the poster has can be put to good use, but his wife MUST do something to add to
his income, otherwise cost of living and caring for young children will not allow any savings.
Romance / Re: Call Girl Breaks Waist Running From Clients by pku(f): 4:38pm On May 21, 2010
I am not trying to be heartless by my response; but i feel that whatever the girl got serves her right. You can't eat your cake and have it. Every business has its own risk. This should better serve as a deterent to other greedy ladies in the trade.
