Update: Elijah Coker, CEO of Foxworth Global, Now Threatening Me on WhatsApp!

After seeing my Nairaland post exposing his fraudulent practices, Elijah Coker messaged me on WhatsApp, threatening me. He even said he would create his own Nairaland account to respond, but immediately after sending the threat, he blocked me again.

This behavior isn’t new. a former colleague from the Creative Department previously exposed him here Nairaland also, Elijah and HR, Adedoyin Odenuga, quickly paid him off to keep quiet. The guy had been asked to delete his post as part of the deal, and he refused to work for Elijah again despite being paid. Now, Elijah is trying similar tactics with me—he even asked about the market survey and the other project work I had done for the company, like pitching and interpreting content he provided, but still refuses to pay me and other staff.

Others affected by this are now considering posting their own experiences here on Nairaland. Please, no one should work for this man—he lacks any respect or compassion for his staff. I have attached screenshots below as proof.

I am writing this to bring to the public’s attention the dishonest and scamming practices of Elijah Coker, the owner of Foxworth Global Nig Ltd in Nigeria and Foxworth Global Holdings Ltd in Durango, Colorado, USA.

On September 17th, I, along with five other colleagues, was employed by Foxworth Global Nig Ltd. We were issued offer letters, onboarded virtually, and assigned various tasks. The company does not have a physical office in Nigeria, so we operated online. We worked diligently, expecting to be paid at the end of the month as per our employment agreement. However, when payday came, Elijah Coker, with the assistance of his HR, Adedoyin Odenuga, began giving excuses and false promises, refusing to pay our salaries.

This deceitful behavior didn’t stop there. A few weeks ago, the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), who had recruited us, was also dismissed because Elijah refused to pay him. Despite multiple assignments and long hours of work, no staff has been compensated to date. Elijah Coker has consistently lied, avoided responsibilities, and failed to honor his obligations to his employees.

At one point, Elijah falsely claimed the company was closing, only to later ask us to continue working with promises of payment that never materialized. Yesterday, after another round of empty promises, he announced the business closure again and claimed he would settle outstanding payments before the end of the year. Since then, he has blocked all staff members and deleted his social media accounts on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

We, the affected staff, are calling on the public, relevant authorities, and anyone who can assist in holding Elijah Coker accountable for his actions. We also warn others to avoid working for Foxworth Global Nig Ltd or Foxworth Global Holdings Ltd to prevent falling victim to this scam. No one should have to endure the stress of working without being compensated.
