Politics / Re: Why Tinubu Is Best For Nigeria by polinpo: 10:04am On Dec 02, 2021 |
baltty: Anybody who does not realize that all the heat TINUBU is getting is from the PDP, Bode George, Ambode, etc has not been following Lagos politics. These are the sworn enemies of Tinubu and these people will do whatever they can to pull him back.... . Our own is to be watching it all unfold. But let them leave us to think clearly oooo. Bode George the ex-convict should go and relax and allow us make our own decisions instead of pursuing and imposing his personal vendatta against Tinubu on all of us. For me oo, whoever it is that thinks he can rule us should come and try except PDP. PDP has been done and dusted a long time ago. No more going back to the era when DIEZANI and her colleagues were operating our national revenue and treasury like their private savings accounts. |
Sports / SADIO MANE : The Photo That Says It All ! by polinpo: 9:28am On Aug 07, 2020 |
The crazy story behind this photo. In 2011, Sadio Mané left his native country Senegal for the first time in his life and arrived in France to train with FC Metz - a ligue 1 soccer club that was at the time at the bottom of the ligue 1 table. He decided to send a photo of himself to his mother back home in Senegal but had no camera to do so and very little money. He then asked a journalist to take a photo of him. The journalist took the photo and asked him for his email address in order to send him the photo. But Mané did not have an email address either ... Before leaving, Sadio Mane asked the journalist, "this photo is free, right ?" 7 Likes 2 Shares

Baddy Oosha is based in Dubai. He is very wealthy and quite popular there. Nobody knows him or cares about him here in Nigeria where we have thousands of people many times wealthier than him. When most celebrities go to Dubai he usually spoils them silly with frivolities. This is why many of them rush to him... just for his money. In fact many celebrities go to Dubai hoping to paint the city red with Baddy's money, not their own money. Baddy is a street DJ turned money bag. I guess he used to DJ for Tuface during his Plantation Boyz days. Looks like he also worked with Tuface in the Studio and got to know many celebrities during this time. For me, dont give a shit ! 20 Likes |

I dont think it is a difficult task. At the NYSC HQ there is a special unit for such graduates. All you need to do is go to Abuja to see them. They will give you the necessary forms and requirements for you to either serve or be exempted from serving. stevalos555: |

When Adeosun snatched the top finance job at the expense of the one who showed her the way into the fold, I knew it would only be so long before KARMA catches up with her. And folks, here we are. She has finally had her day with Karma. From the foregoing, it looks more like she caught up with karma rather than karma catching up with her, because in her case, her desperate desire made her walk right into the waiting net ! 2 Likes |

Not true ! Billy Eko was second to Capt. Ore. Capt. Ore was Nigeria's finest. He was the captain of Nigeria's boeing 747 to New York. Capt. Billy Eko was merely his co-pilot. In fact, Billy Eko tried to implicate Capt. Ore in his hard drug runs by giving him one of his bags to hold and having Capt. Ore's finger print on the bag. but luckily, Ore was acquitted though he was later dismissed by the Nigerian Airways. Konquest: |

French court rejects Benzema's bid to drop sex tape case The court's ruling threatens to drag Djibril Cissé into the notorious legal dispute involving Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena. A French court on Friday rejected a request by the Real Madrid striker to drop the probe into alleged blackmail over a sex tape featuring France teammate Mathieu Valbuena. The court also recommended charging former Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé. "We are pretty astonished because the decision is to reject our requests for the investigation to be cancelled," said lawyer Serge Money, who represents another suspect. The case, which cost Benzema a place in France's Euro 2016 squad on home soil, is now expected to go to trial next year. The Versailles appeal court also asked the investigating magistrate to consider charging former Liverpool and Marseille striker Djibril Cissé. Investigators suspect 28-year-old Benzema of acting as an intermediary between the presumed blackmailers -- including one of his childhood friends -- and Lyon midfielder Valbuena. Benzema and three of the other suspects asked for the case against them to be dropped. They say police used "dishonest" methods by posing as a friend of Valbuena's in a telephone conversation with one of the accused. The prosecution meanwhile says Cissé helped to push along the deception by informing Valbuena that "rumours" were circulating about the existence of the sex tape. The 35-year-old was arrested as part of the investigation in 2015 but was released without charge. Cissé said in a TV interview at the time that he had only been arrested "so the investigators could hear my side of the story. I never swindled anyone -- Mathieu is a friend". Benzema has been usurped as France's star striker by Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, but national coach Didier Deschamps says he has not ruled out a return to the international fold for the Real forward. (AFP) http://www.france24.com/en/20161216-french-court-appeal-benzema-sex-tape-valbuena-cisse Deschamps in charge means no World Cup for me, says Benzema Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema admitted Sunday that he had no hope of playing at the World Cup next year as long as Didier Deschamps remains as France coach. "Of course I believe it (playing for France again), I still believe in it," the 29-year-old Benzema told Canal+. ADVERTISING inRead invented by Teads "But it's been over two and a half years, you can't be stupid. As long as Didier Deschamps is coach I will have no chance of returning to the French team." Benzema, who has scored 27 goals for France, last played for the national team in October 2015. But he has hardly been missed by Deschamps who guided France to the final of Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Benzema's international career hit the buffers when he became caught up in the now infamous 'sex tape' scandal in which he was accused of involvement in an attempt to blackmail fellow French star Mathieu Valbuena. "Of course, I want to play at the World Cup, I want to win something with my country," said Benzema who added that he has no relationship whatsoever with Deschamps. "It's deadlock. We talked on the phone before the Euros but there was no explanation. After that, he turned his back on me." https://www.timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/2017-11-14-deschamps-in-charge-means-no-world-cup-for-me-says-benzema/ |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mono-Question Tests ! Is This the New Aptitude Test Trend In Nigeria? by polinpo: 11:40pm On Feb 09, 2018 |
polinpo: Here is the answer to this question. The question is based on the Econometrics theory of Linear regression and its applicability to commercial considerations. The product cost = N30k Logistics to Mile-2 cost = N4k Total cost to Mile-2 = N34k What makes up the logistics costs = packaging charges, loading charges, transport, etc Amongst all of these variables, only one changed… transport. Why then would you incorrectly make a linear regression between the extra miles and the total cost of logistics ? Consequently, even if the buyer is now covering twice the distance from Badagry to Mile 2, the logistics cost will not be assumed to double along with it (inappropriate linear regression) as the other charges are paid just once and not twice and only the transport chunk will be doubled not the entire logistics cost. The answer, therefore, is unequivocally (c) Less than N38,000. This is because when you double the logistics cost due to the distance that was doubled, you must resist the temptation of making an inappropriate linear regression by providing for the drop in cost for the charges that will not be paid twice but once. This is where the “less” comes in. “Less” therefore stands for all the costs that are incurred once. Understood ? Does anyone wish to debunk this ? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Yes you’re right. There is more to the question than meets the eye. And no, your answer is not correct. N38,000 is certainly not the right answer. Give me a short while to eat and rest and when I return, I shall clearly explain to you why your answer is wrong and what your answer should have been. Afterwards, you’ll certainly agree with the sales director that a real sales manager ought to figure out the answer in seconds. If you’re not armed with the right theory, you can never ever answer this question right. |
