They said Ukraine had the right to join as a sovereign nation despite them knowing the implications of what they were dealing with. Now that the war is on, they are talking about finding a diplomatic solution to end it. Something that should have been decided even before the war broke out. Yet some people are calling it a senseless invasion.

As much as Bojo has been battling with domestic issues of him lacking credibility and all of that, we can not totally isolate his issues from the effects the war in Ukraine is having and the effects of the sanctions on Russia. I just feel like it's a combination of everything. It took that long because there were lots of civilians in the steel plant and the Russians had to be careful not to wipe civilians away with the militants. The moment the civilians started leaving the steel plant, it didn't take long before the soldiers surrendered. Besides, war is about strategies to win and not speed to win.
