Foreign Affairs / Re: Putin Says Attempts To 'cancel Russia' Are Futile by ponyonm: 10:33am On Aug 16, 2022 |
BentizilL: Leave them and their nonsense. People who are not objective in thoughts and swallow everything the west says as the truth. They are trying to suddenly twist things right before our very eyes. Before the invasion, Putin clearly stated that the west must provide a guarantee that Ukraine must not join NATO and must maintain neutral status but what was NATO's response? They said Ukraine had the right to join as a sovereign nation despite them knowing the implications of what they were dealing with. Now that the war is on, they are talking about finding a diplomatic solution to end it. Something that should have been decided even before the war broke out. Yet some people are calling it a senseless invasion. 8 Likes |

I don't think he intended to lie. It depends on what his source of data states. Sometimes when you check online for these things, you will find different sources claiming different figures. I have had such experiences in the past. |

⚡️⚡️⚡️ On July 13, Kalibr high-precision sea-based missiles hit the building of the garrison house of officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (the House of Officers) in the city of Vinnitsa, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, a meeting with foreign suppliers and the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in the building of the officers' house in Vinnitsa — negotiating military aircraft supply to Ukraine. The participants were destroyed. ASB 2 Likes |

Mrtaye: This was the line they used in ruining Libya. Today, there's a high level of terrorism in Africa cause of the fall of Ghaddafi. While I understand your concerns about freedom of speech, I'd also be careful cos that is basically what msm tells us and over time, we've come to understand most of these things are lies. 6 Likes |

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri: Hold Peter Obi Responsible If Anything Happens To Me by ponyonm: 6:41am On Jul 09, 2022 |
Reno is becoming something else. Nobody will hold Obi responsible for anything. Nigerians are tired of the current political ruling class and do not want to hear anything about them. This is why you have young men and women on social media ready to tear down anyone criticizing Obi. Reno should learn that now and know peace. |

As much as Bojo has been battling with domestic issues of him lacking credibility and all of that, we can not totally isolate his issues from the effects the war in Ukraine is having and the effects of the sanctions on Russia. I just feel like it's a combination of everything. If you ask me, I think he was using the Ukrainian war and his support for the Ukrainians as a way of trying to rally local support and that didn't work. Someone having a lot of domestic issues, should have focused more on trying to resolve them, rather than biting beyond his weight on the international front. The people of UK thinks Bojo lacks credibility and as such, can't even trust his judgment of the war in Ukraine and how they are being dragged into it. Lacking credibility has caused him more |

AlPeter: It took that long because there were lots of civilians in the steel plant and the Russians had to be careful not to wipe civilians away with the militants. The moment the civilians started leaving the steel plant, it didn't take long before the soldiers surrendered. Besides, war is about strategies to win and not speed to win. 1 Like 1 Share |
