This job is just too demeaning! Bn waiting for this small boy for over 20 mins. He came out, asked me to open boot, then put his things and said I should give him another 5/10 mins that he's waiting for somebody. I just tried to tell him that I've been waiting for over 20 mins, Omo this boy said I should open boot, that he wants to cancel. I just weak!

Some jobs are like that, you just have to define yourself at some point in time. Next time don’t wait for the boy to ask for such, do em that favor by cancelling the moment he came out and start acting rude.

Same way someone will call customer care service and start placing curse on them or enter bank and start shouting at the teller folks. You meet different people everyday, obviously everyone is not normal.

Any driver that does this is a fool, why will you claim someone is a close associate when you randomly rendering service to the person all because of money...

I've done many offline where police will stop me and they will ask me themselves if I'm Uber cox sometimes, I dress like this guys too and I will just say yes it's Uber.

But, this my guy case, I was surprised too that they detained him when he told them he's just an Uber driver, but reason why he was detained was because they found gun on the guys and 2 of them ran away...

I naturally don’t like using police route, those guys are not professional to me. Tho they hardly disturb drivers, except in few cases and are hardly in same page with each other. Twice they caught guys and I have to follow them to the station. As what? They said witness. Omo! My time, my fuel, I felt that. Driving is spiritual, I don’t need anyone to ruin my day.

Bros, I don't want to know the kind of car he's driving, even if it's 1.6l engine, there's no way to get 80k with 20k fuel.

Pearl is probably exaggerating or he's just intentionally feeding us lies.

Bros, abeg, check price from Maryland bus stop to ajah under bridge on bolt app, look at the price and check how many litres you will use to cover that distance to get that price.

I just did here and Bolt charged 14200 from Maryland to ajah under bridge, and let's say you're using 5litre(not possible tho) to cover such distance.

If you divide 5litre from 22litre, you will get 4.4, which means you will do that Maryland to ajah 4.4 times.

So, multiply 14200 by 4.4times, you will get 62,576 and we can agree it's not possible to use 5litres of fuel from Maryland to ajah. Maybe if there's heavy surge, you can achieve 80k with 20k fuel but without surge, you can't achieve that.

I'm putting this into calculations cox I know it's not possible, but if pearl wants to prove me wrong, he should screenshot the whole trips details he did to get 80k with 20k fuel and I will do my calculations here and prove him wrong......

Screenshot below shows; 1st image, Maryland to ajah
2nd image ajah to Maryland...

I feel you boss, but I no just like to argue some argument because I no deh there. All man should just do what works for them.

I won’t like to doubt Pearl on the 20k fuel of a thing, because it is not my car. The only thing I’ll be curious about is does 13k fuel gross 70k before the increment. Because what we buy at 13k is what 20k can get today.

Note: Bolt increased their price, but seem reversed when una too get sense. Seems like drivers prefer app with small price.

Some people are now saying it's better they drive than take uber cos it's getting too expensive.
Some others are running to indrive for cheap rides and others are actually taking yellow cabs or public transportation.
Many people now treck from inside estate to d gate to enter keke or korokpe.
Others only go out when it is extremely necessary, all those careless long distance waka don reduce.
U should chat more with ur riders next time u carry them. These questions shouldn't be for me.

People thinking so are ignorant… I’ve heard lot of that till car maintenance set in. Remember some people buy cars out of ignorance and not likely the regularly Uber thing. When Kazeem show them shege, they look for alternatives. Some has even join the share ride of a thing, but there’s a way we human are built. There’s a reason increase in income still can’t overshadow expenditure. Unless the money is not just there.

About trips, we need to admit people are baffled with where the country is going, reason the town looks like ghost. Do you know all this down sizing Olosho price is still on the high side? How many beach trips do we get on weekends? Fine restaurants trips? Company events like the GTCO stuffs and Eco hotel events? All these things will happen when it will and drivers will have their day regardless of price. Preparation should just try and meet opportunities, then everyone will smile again.

Nigeria will be great again grin

I think I know a lot and give people the best advice, but sometimes I can be so carefree about things. 12 years ago, during Jonas time, we were complaining. 10 years from now, it’ll still be one junk analysis from media and people who feels thy know better to another. Add that to you life and think thro what you want to see under the sun. A friend of mine (in USA) and I were having brief of a property he sent to me around 10m and how he intend to buy and wants to know my view. To me, if the documents are ok and they won’t be issue… go ahead and their already a building on it, complete and resale maybe 3 years. That’s around sango. After few days… he called back and like see, I don’t have interest. After school, 3 years from now max, I’ll be able to save up to acquire something in the island. He already have a paly… I was just think how many ride I have to complete to acquire chioce property on the island. My point still remains same argument we go thro time to time. This country makes it hard for people that honestly want to be normal.

Na so Bro, I don meet Drivers wey dey use Jazz for this work

Soap for Riders favour dey: Riders will dash you money, tips and leave their change for you.

Do as I say dey : A trip of 5k, may be from jibowu to Ikeja, they will tell rider to pay them 10k, Rider will agree without argument.

Protection from Armed robbers dey: Armed robbers go enter your car, they will forget their mission till you drop them. And they won't harm you

No see me dey: you will break traffic law, enter 1 way, jump lane, lastma, police, road safety, vio won't able to arrest you. In fact they won't see you till you pass

Things dey occur bro

No vex oo boss… why dem no just go do money ritual? Instead of putting themselves thro all this stress.

Susantice:
I will respondto this soon as fuel hit 1700
Just be on alert

I still maintain my stand, regardless of how irresponsible this government has and will always be. Yes! Dangote may have air out like that, but the question is what is the reason why we can’t maintain subsidy? What is the government presently subsidizing for the people? Which country is not subsidizing one thing or the other for her citizens?

We can’t subsidize pms because some crooks and dubious people claims to bring products they don’t or refineries that doesn’t exist. Still black man keeling the next man and we always throw holy hands every Sunday’s and fast to carry mat along on Friday’s to pray. Yet! Nah our ways mad pass, no shame, tribalism don eat us reach bone. Now that we have Dangote refinery (crazy how he buys crude in naira and sells finished products to us in dollars 😂 the more you look I guess), there’s nothing wrong in the government liaising with him to come honest with the amount of products coming out of his refinery. In Dubai they have a tracker that indicates the amount of products and a drop can not be diverted without the authorities not knowing. Now, wit him we should be able to have totality of what we are using and how to go about subsiding it. Dangote telling government what to do in other to sell his products, while he was looking for a subsidized crude oil, is that not a bastard and a greedy man movement. The other day things was about to slip from him, the two friends were everywhere tweeting online and won’t let us rest, now they got what they want and they can advice the government. Typical of a black man, take the monkey of your as* and place it on whose ever, who cares?

This administration does not want to root deep into borrow money and wants to leave a legacy of paying back some debts. So, they turn to citizens and squeeze the h*ll out of their blood. When they tell an average Nigerian the government is about to borrow xy, you’ll hear stuffs like what’s my business? Nah the business we dey now. Nigerians are paying for every misdeed by the past leaders. It is just sucks that the past leaders are still the present ones realigning, while the mumu youths pick sides. Someone in his 30s and name can’t be tagged to anything tangible, we come online to back government for promising them laptop. Is that not a life time achievement of st*pidity? Blindly supporting same people that ruined the lives of the youths. Edo governor elect used to be a PDP member, now APC. Why should me that doesn’t have any card concern myself with if he’s PDP or APC? We have st*pid people in this country that can’t be redeemed.

Why I say pms should not get to 1700… in economics and physics, there’s elasticity. 70k minimum wage is already useless with the current situation (the better part of me feel NLC president is part of this administration). We can all see it, no such thing as do you know who I am again. Yes! Projection shows people will adjust with time, but not at a point where expenditure completely overshadows income with large percentage. No human on earth can adjust to such.

The hardship tifnubu created was just unnecessary, because subsidy was never removed.

Subsidy was removed, but not absolutely. If they didn’t subsidize to some extend, we would have been buying fuel for almost 1450. The issue here is devaluation of naira. Assuming a dollar is like 100 naira today, fuel won’t exceed 85 naira. As long as we’ve not find a solution to our economy crisis and lifestyles, our money will keep being useless. In our very own eyes Benin and Ghana money over took ours… I’m trying no to be negative about the country, but one the honesty note, but the leaders and the people they are leading are part of the problems. Edo election says it all… malice will always win.

The duration is estimated, it's not set in stone; you can pick a 1hr 22min trip and end up spending 30 minutes. There's an element of chance embedded in there and that's what those dudes picking such trips are using to make money.

To IFSHR don’t mind my robe is dusty, E don tey wey I wear em, but what can I do when the Duke of ehailing and the heir to the throne after Charly is worthy of prayers.

May the good God continue to brighten your path. Good things will work for your. You’ll not know sadness. Joy will abide in your home. Grace will follow you from place to place. Exceptional mercies. Victoria won’t stop calling your numbers. You shall ascend that throne. Go ahead and prosper more just as the book of Proverbs 4 : 18, I read and I quote. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. So shall your path and light continue to shine. Shalom
