Osun Food Support Scheme

Over 270,000 households had benefited from the scheme since its commencement nine months ago, said no effort would be spared to add value to the initiative which has been widely accepted by the people.

“You will recall that nine months ago, our government did promise that on a monthly basis, 30,000 households will be fed and this is the ninth edition making 270,000 households that had benefited from the Scheme. And when we talk of household, it is not an individual that makes up an household, essentially, the husband, wife, children and dependants.

This is as he leads friends of the Osun incumbent governor to pick up the Osun 2022 Gubernatorial nomination form at the All Progressive Congress National Secretariat in Abuja.

The Senator while answering questions from journalists after the collection of form, also stated that having a party structure makes winning election easy and not by using just personality.

He added that the reason for supporting Governor Oyetola and taking the step to pick up the nomination form for him, arose from the impressive governor's strides and achievements in governance in the last three and half years in office.
