The intention of the Governor is admirable. His efforts highly commendable. Other Governors should emulate laudable projects like this.

However, a beautiful infrastructure is only one factor that will make his aim and objectives achievable. Good and workable medical policies, well trained and highly remunerated medical professionals, world class Standard Operating Proceedures etc are some of the measures he should put in place.

He that hates civil service with passion, will he be able to pay the doctors and other workers that will meet up the standard?
Better still, can he equip it with the state of the art facilities?
Will he allow himself, his children or wife to be treated there? If the answers to the questions above are all in affirmative then he is good to go.

Please remind the governor that heat wants to kill us in Afikpo. No electricity since he came to power in 2015. I wonder if it is a deliberate attempt to put Afikpo on a reverse gear in terms of development.

Before he came, Afikpo had five commercial banks. Now, only three remain and more will leave too. He has rendered the economy of Afikpo to near zero. Ebonyi state is not only Abakaliki and Uburu, his village.

The only new thing in Afikpo is the substandard concrete roads that are tearing tyres anyhow. Destroying road built by Julius Berger and reconstructing it with substandard concrete roads.

He needs to visit Rivers to see quality projects and not death trap substandard concrete roads, flyovers, buildings and disco lights.

its called "Ebonyi College Of Medicine " meaning its a facility that will train medical doctors and people in the medical field that means it must have professors and experts in the medical field.
