I dey tell u Andy. Komekn is a choir boy and a saint sef when it comes to Hafeful Nacho Criticisms compared to Curtis.

As in, Komekn has been here longer than the guy but not all of Komekn's posts revolve around pulling down Nacho or Osimhen or any other indigenous-born Naija lad. But this Curtis guy, Omo... Na him daily bread be that before his sabbatical and recent return.
6-7 pages of this entire thread has Curtis' name attached to Nacho Slander. That says a lot.

This is the crust of the matter. Nacho play better as a supporting striker than as a lone striker. I think he should always play in his preferred postion going forward but it depend on the coach though.

I personally feel the false nine position, just the way Firmino plays it is the best position for Iheanacho but you need insane side forwards like how Firmino works with Salah and Mane to pull it off.

Also, playing Nacho there would be experimental for now so the double striker system seems the best for him now.

He makes it look like my criticism is directed at one player alone. Why!, this is what I had to say, just a few days ago about Etebo, Aribo and the rest of our midfield bar Ndidi. I called them "bang average clowns...".

Now judge for yourself. Do I also hate Etebo and the rest?. Why did TheSupernerd and other Nacho fanatics not attack me for "insulting" those midfielders?. Why do they only realize how "hateful" I am whenever Nacho is involved, making it look like I am singling him out?. Hmmm. E be tins.
Bro... criticism is allowed but you went too far. You even abused the boy with his mouth. The fact that you even predicted doom about him was far too extreme.
Criticism is allowed but not to the extent which you took it concerning Nacho.

You have valid points though. There is a lot of self torture, bullying on social media, truth be told social media can cause depression, mental illness etc through bullying and even self torture which comes with comparing people to one's self. That is why I like nairaland because it is anonymous, you might even be yabbing your papa, mama, pikin, wife, friend, sibling etc without ever knowing grin cheesy . Nobody fit know say I dey my workshop with my saw and hammer now while some of my juniors are balling and showing off on LinkedIn, Facebook etc.

The biggest problem we're facing in Nigeria is not even cyber bulling. It's rather fake news.

Actually, we are saying basically the same thing. I acknowledged that I have been very aggressive in my previous criticisms directed at Iheanacho. The problem here is that you seem not to know the difference between blind hate and passionate criticism.

I don't know Iheanacho in real life. Never met him, never had any sort of interaction with him.....heck, I don't even know which Igbo state he hails from. For what reason can I possibly hold a personal grudge against someone I don't know and who's existence has no direct impact on my life?.

Yes, I criticized Iheanacho, verbally attacked him even, sometimes not very gently too. But what is wrong with that?. Am I not at liberty to do that under my constitutional rights to freedom of speech?. Do you know how many newspapers, magazines e.t.c print caricatures of public figures, some of them highly placed politicians everyday?. I remember the time when the epic "there is God oh" video by Dame Patience Jonathan went viral. Hundreds, if not thousands of cartoons, comedy skits e.t.c were made on the saga. The whole nation laughed at and mocked a sitting first Lady!. Would her husband have been justified then to round up every single satirist and comedian who commented on the issue and dump them in Kirikiri?. Certainly not!.

If we have the liberty to paint caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed (as some are doing) despite the fact that billions of Muslims consider him dearer to them than their own parents, if we can mock our political leaders at will on social media and label them tyrants if they dare repress our rights to do so, if the whole of Nigeria could laugh it's first lady to scorn on several occasions and get away with it, I ask you O TheSupernerd, who is Kelechi Iheanacho, a public figure, to be shielded from critique and caricature? Is he a god? Indeed millions of atheists globally mock God himself everyday on social media and get away with it. Even God is not spared!.

I criticized Iheanacho at a time when he was performing at a subpar level, a fact to which everyone can attest. Now he is doing well, and I have praised him. Is that what a blind prejudiced hater would do?. Must everybody toe your path of asslicking Iheanacho even when he is clearly doing badly?. I protest this attempt to browbeat me into docility. This is a free country, and as long as I remain within the ambit of the law, I write what I like.

Just reading through all the evidence SuperNerd has compiled on your attacks on Kelechi and to say the least they were poisonous! It is impossible to describe it any other way. Forget the lame excuse of passionate criticism, very funny! You clearly took delight in making bold predictions about his short, mid and long term future and they all spelt doom for the young man.

Imagine you hoped he would be sent to the U-23s where his game time wont still be guaranteed, so to you that too qualifies as passionate criticism? Na Wa for you sha.

You would have salvaged some respect if you owned up to kicking and spitting on a man when he was was down. Own it like that.

Since omeruo and Sadiq are missing the game due to covid concerns by their club, won't that also affect chukwueze or has a replacement been called for chukwueze

I think it depends on the club. If they value the player so much and cannot risk letting him go.

I also think that's the reason Olise wasn't invited. Not sure though.
