It has to be on a letter head. After emailing them the waiver they are still gonna request for a copy from the school so it means you have to look for someone who will send to them with a working email. Teepearls: |

Hello Fams and gurus in the house , I'm planning to refire again after a one year break, I just want to ask a question from people who have similar experience, My brother is sponsoring me and he lives in Canada and I will be submitting a foreign statement. My question now is does he have to go to court to swear an affidavit of support? |

Good evening house, fellow PPR hopefuls we will get our golden mails this week in Jesus name! IRCC has somewhat changed their style o. Gone are those days when BVL and PPR drop in the midnight, 2 am, 3, 4,5am or when pple wake up to it. you'll wake up to use the bathroom at midnight, you go dey check mail I wish I could speak to a VO, just want to know why some applications take so long. I feel there should be a standard structure to treating and completing applications. No one should have to wait for so long especially for a temporary visa. I saw someone who applied since Oct, and was just refused last week or upper week, after 5 months... O wrong now. my 2 cents sha. In case a VO is here (I know they pop in from time to time) please look into this area to improve on. Well, that said, IRCC abeg remember me and send my PPR in Jesus name! 15 Likes |

lentomac: It all depends on your workplace and schedule. Daily work hours are flexible as long as you do not exceed 20 hours for a week. Gurus in the house can also help on this one. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ILoveDLord(m): 10:21pm On Mar 22, 2021 |
Hi. It depends on the employer and their work schedule available for you. For instance, you may sometimes only work 3 days in a week so for that week, you will have an average of 6 hours per day for each of the three days. The schedule may not be fixed. Sometimes you may work 6 days in a week, 3hrs on one day, another 5 hours, 6 hours , even 2 hours and then 3 hours. At the end of the week, you get a maximum of 20 hours. Some weeks you may not even work up to 20 hours, depending on the demand or what is available. Some weeks you might just work a total of 10hours. Also because the employers know that you are a student, they give you flexibility. So at the beginning of securing the job or even during the interview, they ask you to tell them what days and times you are available to work. This is from personal experience when I was still studying and working part time here in Canada. I believe others who are studying or studied would agree that that is how it is generally. Hope this helps lentomac: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello house please I have gotten admission to Seneca college I want to pay my deposit fees I don't know which method to use that will be economic and fast.and how do I go about it.thanks for your feedback

Chinatown2:there's no option that's economical and fast. Create a virtual dolllar card using barter by Flutterwave. Then you go ahead to pay using Wu global pay. 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ILoveDLord(m): 10:42pm On Mar 22, 2021 |
Western Union Global Pay may be the cheaper. It takes about 3 business days to process. You will need to fill the application on their site and download the payment invoice. You then take it to your bank with evidence of admission, international passport, your first degree/diploma. The bank will direct you on what to do. Credit Card/ Debit Card is faster., BUt there is service charge for credit cards. It is easier if you have someone in Canada do the payment on your behalf. If you have someone in Canada, they can even do it through internet/online banking without service charge. Depending on who you are dealing with, the exchange rate and trustworthiness are the concerns. You can also try using your GTB or other bank master/visa debit card. It may work. The CIBC option, I think is if you have a Canadian Bank account with CIBC.( CIBC is a Canadian Bank). Finally it is up to you to decide. All the best Chinatown2: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

@Residentourist Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. I guess my question would be how to fill the form - If I select that a family member would accompany me to Canada, then the options are: study or visit If I choose 'study', then it would request Application for Study Permit form (IMM1294) and Letter of Acceptance. Or do I choose 'visit', would they be allowed entry to Canada? and get an authorization/exemption letter? What other evidence do I need to provide with my application? Thanks! |

Baphil:@Baphil I really appreciate your response. Did the children and their mother apply at the same time as the principal applicant- their father/husband? What other documents did you include to support the kids' application? Thanks! |

Dear all, please permit me to ask this question. I have a 3rd class law degree and I have read it is almost impossible to get a masters admission into a school in Canada. I am thinking of doing a post graduate diploma instead in courses like political science or international relations. Do you think this is a wise choice? Any advice on schools with cheap tution I can look up? Kindly assist. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Residentourist: 12:54am On Mar 23, 2021 |
Rae3355: I guess that will be dependent on the age(s) of the child(ren). Remember that if you choose study you need to provide an admissoon letter from a DLI and in Canada elementary schools are assigned to you based on where you reside so you don't have control over the process. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Residentourist: 12:59am On Mar 23, 2021 |
Rae3355: I'm not an authority figure on the subject matter as I am currently awaiting a decision on my own study visa. Hopefully someone who has been successful in getting their visa as well as for their children would shed more light. All the best in your processing. It will end in Praise |
