Why is he so reluctant to do SFA? I think this the period you need to sit him down to talk to discuss otherwise, you may likely not find the cause of the infertility.

I will find a way to talk to him...

Let both of you visit the gynea and let the doctor tell him to do an SFA. You can act like he's only just accompanying you to see the doctor.

Good day all. I was once a TTC mother but by God's grace I'm now seven months pregnant. For over 3 weeks now I have been seeing yellowish green thick discharge from my private part. It comes out frequently and plenty like every 10 minutes and I usually rush to the bathroom to wash it off to avoid smearing it all over my clothes or bed. After some days I became worried and decided to Google it. According to Google, I had trichonomiasis and the remedy is Metronidazole. I discussed it with my hubby and started taking it. I noticed that the discharge changed slightly from thick to light but still comes out more. After I finished the dose I bought and it still comes out, I complained to the matron of the hospital where I do my antenatal but she didn't say or do anything about it. Right now it comes out more frequently and always wetting my pants and clothes. Pls is there any suggestions on how I can treat it without affecting my baby??

[quote author=joliefille post=99848663]Good morning GTC mamas, it will happen for all of us sooner rather than later. I just have a small piece of advice. If you can afford it, try to do a hysteroscopy.
Doing a hysteroscopy was a huge landmark in my fertility journey, although a bit expensive for me (I had to use proceeds from ajo) I am happy I decided and insisted on it. It was not a doctor who recommended it. I found it in my personal research and started asking for where it can be done.
Please which hospital did you do the hysteroscopy?

Hmmm… I used clomid last year september(self medication thou), by october I started having pregnancy symptoms which I did pt at home it was -ve, on getting to the hospital I was scanned because I complain of pains in my tommy area. Behold, it was an 8cm cyst on my right ovary. The doctor was suggesting surgery which we declined because I had fibroid surgery in june i.e four month interval, so the doctor prescribed some drugs and the cyst left in 2weeks. By December the cyst came back but this time the doctor said I should go and take vit E for one month, someone introduced me to a supliment which I spent much but there’s no improvement. Am looking for a natural way ro get rid of this cyst, pls if anyone can help

What drugs were you given?

You have to attack PCOS from all corners. A combination of weightloss, diet change (eliminating sugar and carbs), inositol(supplement) and metformin (orthodox) should help.

Hello, congratulations on a successful surgery. try and rest very well, clean your surgery site well and regularly with methylated spirit. I remember after mine I did fertility massage using castor oil, hot water bottle. U can google about it and also check YouTube. I think it helped me not have adhesions.after myomectomy. I didn't use serraptesese other mothers with experience will also reply you. Wishing a BFP at first try.

Thanks for the swiss respond. For the massage, when should I start, is it when I no longer feel pain or after how many months post surgery?

Good Evening Mamas,

Trust we're all good.

I was placed on letrozole by my gyn during my cycle last month. We tracked some follicles as well.

My issue now is that I'm a regular 30 to 31 days 'cycler'. Today is day 35. No AF and it's a -ve.

I'm confused and concerned. Does letrozole delay period?

Has anyone experienced this?

Good day everyone, I have been having pains in my lower abdomen/belly and right side of my waist since last year. I finally did a pelvic scan last week and was diagnosed of PID which I have been treating but what worries me is what I read about PID affecting fertility. The result of the test I did states that

1. Fibroids: Nil
2. Endometrium: normal
3. Marginally bulky uterus
4. Ovaries are normal
5. Normal Adnexa

Diagnosis: POD Fluid collection - PID

Pls what are my chances of conceiving after I have treated this infection?

Hello @exclusiveoloori!
It depends on how severe the infection is.
If you have treated it before and it is still there, then you will have to tackle it on all sides.
That is the same thing I'm going through, my scan result shows PID and the hvs test showed ecoli which is an infection, after treating and repeating test, it showed resistant staphylococcus.
I will suggest you go to the hospital, if possible General hospital to see a gynaecologist who will note your symptoms, tell you to probably repeat the ultrasound scan and go for hvs.
Tell the doctor to give you the best quality antibiotics, because if you use anyhow antibiotics, the infection will be more difficult to treat. I have treated mine like 3 times, that's why I want to work with a gynaecologist.
Good luck and baby dust to you.
