Makinde didn't allow lock down in his state because he believed his state was not affected.

Unlike, Ogun state and Lagos state that had to use all their resources to prevent Covic-19 pandemic.

His effort didn't go unnoticed by WHO and other health organisation.

Remember, he never budgeted for Covic-19. But where did you think he got the funds for to achieve this? Think

As we comment here, Dapo is building 200 units of Houses in Abeokuta and he is replicating same in other major cities in Ogun state.
I will start following you on all Dapo's thread. We are on a long ride, both.

Gbagura:
You live in Lagos,i guess. You're lecturing someone that lives in ogun state and conversant with all that matters in the state. I ply the road regularly and therws nothing you can teach me on governace in this state. Dapo hasn't done anything. Even OGD got the ground running within his first year. Why is Dapo's different?

There's no point for Amosun doing what he felt doesn't make any sense. That road is too narrow for the kind of traffic passing there. There's virtually accident every now and then on that road. Don't even go there. Does that road make any sense to you? Would Amosun be doing such shoddy job currently as witnessed on that road? What stopped Dapo adding an extra lane on that road to curb unnecessary accident?

If you ply the road regularly, how come you think he left the road the same way?

That road was just two lanes but now 10 lanes. How does that look same to you?

You lied.

Why didn't Amosun expand the road since it was too narrow?

A road that leads to SS, SW, SE, Ajah, Lekki, Lekki refinery, the largest oil tank in Nigeria, etc doesn't make sense to you and Amosun, right? grin

Its features are a marvel: a dual-carriageway with 10 lanes, four lanes on each side with one pull-out section, and a 14-lane toll plaza for easy payment of tolls.

4 lanes on each side with one pull out section. Making 5 lanes each on both sides. Though the pull out section is not tarred. thanks

This is beautiful, all sw governor need to start working together in other achieve better and interstate infrastructure.
Do you know that, there is a link road between lagos and ondo, if constructed, it will not take up to an hour to commute?
That would be nice but it's going to be expensive because of the required bridges.

You have not given factual evidence to back up your claims else debunk it.

Well, you are just full of sentiments. That's all.

Let Gbagura be, from his name u should have known him as Amosu apologist, Gbagura is a clan within Abeokuta.

Good one. Long overdue. I thought the governor isn't doing well, as reported?
Common, that road used to be bad. Could remember, couple of years ago, when I used to ply the road, every weekend from Ajah to IB, it was not good.
He can do better , anyways.

The infrastructural deficit in the Nigeria is beyond imagination. Would never condemn anyone who rejoices over a news like this- I would rather join the train. We need to fix these deficits before we start talking about a 21st century Nigeria grin

Yes,more roads infrastructures to be completed!
Kudos to governor Abiodun of Ogun Stateon the current pace of infrastructures.
He should continue without looking back.
Please, note the following roads to be urgently completed:
•Itoke-Ibefun-Ijebu-Ode Road- is an eyesore and a death-trap.In fact, traveling to Ijebu Ode from say Lagos that used to be 45 minutes is now two-hours stressful!
•Omu-Eleni-Ejirin Road is terribly bad because of heavy-truck,mostly of Dangote and others, moving on the road on daily basis.

Thank you for this update wink

We hope to see these roads completed (with pictures and top quality).

Unlike Amosun, Abiodun is spreading development beyond Abeokuta and I applaud him for this.

God bless Ogun State.

God bless Yorubaland.

This has always been my reasoning.....SW governors would achieve more for their states and regions if they work together, individual growth won't do much, regional growth is the only way.

@aremuforlife and @BSdetector

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Our governors in the SW need to work together to bring the region forward.

Especially Ekiti, Ondo and Osun states. For instance, there is one airport in akure serving these three states, so they need
to work together to put it to optimal use (The airport should not be seen as “Ondo state airport”, but a regional one
serving the tri-state area).

Ado-ekiti to Akure is about an hour’s drive

Ilesa to Akure is less than 2 hour’s drive

So, what is keeping the Governors from working together?

Two heads is better than one.

God bless Yorubaland
