Qrisn:Quite an unfortunate development. I'm sorry about this. Someone showed me this earlier and said a co-member of a telegram AOR group was asking for a way out. Great to see some of the gurus here have hit the nail on the head already; Mmamaroon at length and ednut in his usual straight-to-the-point way. You obviously earned two extra points from the selection of Masters in stead of the correct option of Bachelor. I'm sorry to say, realistically, there's no way out of it as IRCC rules are clear both on their site and in ITA letters. Please face this reality and try to move on and in doing so, I'll advise you successfully withdraw this application and create another. I think you can do this through your current profile. 470 is a fairly great score but if the PA is losing points soon while both of you still have points left to claim through IELTS, don't hesitate to prepare to write the exam again with a view to maxing it out. Phew! Situations like this isn't one anyone should end up with and asking the "why and if" questions now will only worsen it.. As one of my ogas said above, anyone just coming into this journey should pls ensure he/she uses the CRS tool well enough to be conversant with the possible CRS combinations applicable to you so that by the time of filling in their forms, a wrong CRS can be easily detected. 4 Likes |

Good day guys. Please who has idea about whether or not SNIP verify Tax CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE? My wife is PA and work with Federal university in Lagos but Her Personal income tax has not been remitted to Lagos state since 2011 by the cbn/federal government who pays her salary. Now LIRS doesn’t want to issue her Tax clearance certificate but her University issued her Tax clearance receipt will it suffice? Thank you |

Qrisn: I can imagine that you must be very disappointed but please calm down so that you don't take any rash decisions. The link you provided refers only to CITIZENSHIP applications, from what I read. When you are a bit more composed, go through this link to see what to do if you want to withdraw an immigration application. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=741&top=23 |

55emem55: #PersonalOpinion So long as your POF is intact and untouched, I don't think IRCC cares what you do with any excess money you have above and beyond that. It's your account....you can use it as you please for legitimate transactions PROVIDED the balance doesn't fall below the POF amount. |

Hello, Thank you for everything in this forum. I have a question pls. I applied for the federal skilled worker program and did a fixed deposit for 3 months. Now it has expired and the application is still on eligibilty stage. I refixed the pof (gift deed from my dad) for an extra 3 months again. Should I notify cic? or just leave the money in the account like that? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by yinksob002: 7:55pm On Mar 27, 2021 |
Tvickie:I do not think it poses any issue so long as the fund is still running at the same tenor and conditions as the initial booking. So, it's fine. |

Any tips for getting Ontario NOI ? If seems even if you fall within the score range and NOC, you are still not guaranteed a NOI. |

I wrote my IELTS today and I really need my listening to be up to 8. I made a few mistakes that could slide me to having 34 which is 7.5. I'm extremely confident of other parts. In fact, I'm not sure I will get any answers wrong in reading. But all this result with a 7.5 in listening will drop my CRS to about 430 from a possible 480... I'm so tensed. I can't even sleep well. I don't want to write this exam a second 2 Likes |

drlaykay: I’d advise you to take it easy. I had similar fear after I wrote mine and it was so bad that I was continued studying IELTS materials immediately after the test. I refused to voice my fear to anyone but simply prayed silently. Till date, I still marvel at how I maxed out and got an overall score of 8.0! So Bro, please relax.. 12 Likes |

I am in a dilemma right now .., I intend to migrate to Canada via the express entry but some things are bothering me. Background I am a Nigerian lawyer with over 3 years experience. I am currently 29 years old but will be 31 years by May 10 this year. I am yet to get married but will be married this year. What are my chances of the express entry? What can I do to boost my Score? What other means a person in my situation can obtain permanent residence ? Please help. |

Welcome to the Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program Thread - Part 10Good evening, pls I am new here. I am planning on joining the EE pool, I have already done my ECA and IELTS. I had a band 7.5 overall in IELTS, but my problem now is my work experience. I have worked in 3 different companies, while I have salary accounts for the 2 past jobs, I do not have a salary account for the last and most current job I had, which is the area I want to specialise in because it falls under NOC B. Pls is it possible to fill this work experience without them requesting I produce the salary account bank statement? |

Tvickie:What about going for a long date say 6months or 1year? Did you get a reasonable rate Atleast? That’s a different matter. But yeah, no need to inform IRCC just leave the money in the account. |

bemagnify:Just do yourself a favour and read page 1 of this thread.Come back with questions if any part is unclear. And you will be 30years old not 31 yeah? If you max your IELTS, get an IQAS evaluation and with 3years work experience you should be looking at 473 or thereabout |

Cutiemart:According to IRCC, to prove work experience you’ll need reference letters for the jobs you are claiming points. Salary account bank statement aren’t included and payslips are optional 1 Like |
