Not watching but from what I'm hearing, seems City are putting in maximum effort - as expected - while Barca have missed a number of chances, with Oshoala very involved.


Update: Barca grab a well deserved equalizer as Oshoala scores. Hammer blow for City, who now need to score FOUR goals. Simply not gonna happen.

It says a lot about the quality of competition in the female game

Chelsea women and Barcelona Feminines are through to the semis. Chelsea will likely face Bayern, who have all but wrapped up their own QF tie against Rosengard (they lead 3-0). Barca will play either Lyon or PSG (Lyon lead 1-0).

Very in point. We barely survived in that last game, our usually solid defence was very shaky. But we buckled up this time. They had over 20 shots in the first leg, but just 8 in today's game with the stakes even higher. That shews improvement.

Funny how we beat last seasons German champions, and will now face the likely champions for this season. I just hope we can go all the way. But it's only going to get more difficult from here on. We would have to play two of Lyon, Barca and Bayern to win the cup. E no go easy at all.


I'm tipping Oshoala and Kirby to make the top 5 for this season's Fifa/Ballon d'or awards. Or top 10 at the very least.

I remember my cousin used to play for Rivers Angels and was on the fringes of Falcons and even at the age of 13, we were a match for her and even better in our local monkey post.
