Frankko2003: That’s where you login to apply for admission and check for an update, that’s also where you’ll download your admission letter and the likes. But I think you’ll be sent an email when you’ve been offered admission. Did you use your email to register? |

Good day everyone, I am new here and would like to make some enquiries. I am a pharmacist by profession and I got admission to the University of Alberta for Masters in Public Health:Occupational Health for Fall 2021 with no option to defer. I am about to start the Study permit application and want to know if it is feasible to get the permit on time before school resumes in September (I intend to go through the NSE route). I have about N2m saved in my account and my main sponsor is my mother. Although she doesn't have the money in her account, she is planning on applying for an N8m loan from her office cooperative to give to me to aid my application. In total I would have N10 million in my account. My tuition fee for a year is about N4.5 million and the $10k Cad for living expense is also about N3.5 million making N8m naira and I have N10m. My question is this; Is N10 million naira enough to show as proof of funds (considering it covers my 1 year tuition and living expense with some extra money left), or would I need an additional sponsor. Also, is it advisable for my mum to send the loan she gets to me stating clearly that it is for school or would it be seen a suspicious amount in my account. Would my mum also have to show her bank statement if all the money (N10m) is in my own account. I would really appreciate it if the gurus in the house cam advise me better. Thank you. 3 Likes |

Kimkalash:congratulations dear!!!! I really can’t wait to join you in Newfoundland! I got admission to study a PGD. I submitted my study application on 17th of March though through an agent, but surprisingly I’m yet to get a Letter of Instruction for biometrics and it’s over 15days and I’m yet to get it. Pls how long can d embassy sent Letter of Instruction for biometrics? Or could there be something wrong from my application? |

TennieYF: 10m is not a small money so long it covers your expenses for a year, and your mum can have the cooperative give a letter to support her claims on the loans to explain the source of the 8m, however you need to show you the vo how you intend to pay your subsequent fees for the second year. And you also have to show the vo that you and your sponsor are well established in Nigeria |

The money can be sent into your account directly from the cooperative if you don't want to show your mum's acc statement especially if the only reasonable fund in her account is the 8m,once the 8m enters your account, a letter from the cooperative should follow to show the source of the 8m,and explain the mode of payment for the subsequent year of studies |

Hello House, I have a question, How does MBS work? Do Visa Officers have access to "actual" bank balance anytime they log in? Or they only see what you submitted....thank you 1 Like |

Admin9: Honestly, its tiring. I keep wondering why it's so different with Nigerians, i think we're the only one being delayed laidis, Why is everything about us upside down? Too many questions in my head jare You guys really need to see the alarming rate at which indians are getting PPRs on daily basis, once review starts, within/before 7 days PPR don land. Most February applicants have gotten theirs and few March applicants too. Truth is, these people don't take nonsense, their morale is out of this world walahi. They make me laugh at some of the things they do, imagine planning to protest at Canadian High Commision's office on 7th April simply because of few January applicants that havnt received theirs. Abeg who knows the visa office that handles indians' application, maybe I could lucky if I channel my enquiry to them 3 Likes |

Hello guys!.... Based on my GCMS, the VO said I didn't demonstrate how established my family are and their source of income is not clear...How do I prove their source of income cos I am the one sponsoring myself and I have a business registered by CAC. Plus I also have a landed property which I inherited from my late dad that generates annual income through the rents. Can I use all these as the level of establishment they want me to demonstrate since I am the only one that is sponsoring myself throughout my stay. Please help me as appropriate guys. God bless you all. |

The fact is, the study permit issued at the port of entry usually has your DLI written on it. So if you need to change DLI after you have received your study permit, then you need to apply for any study permit for the new DLI. This may not necessarily affect your study visa. Note there is a difference between study visa and study permit. marcelonwa: 3 Likes |

Hi. I’m applying for a study permit and the money in my sponsors account (mother) started flowing in 3 weeks ago. Does it raise a red flag? How can I explain the inflow? Also, does my 6 months statement of account necessarily need to show my salary since I’m applying as an employee in an organization in Nigeria. |
