Picture example of Embarrassing piecemeal Stuff

If the threat to Nigeria is as serious as many fear then perhaps the time has come we depart these piecemeal, third world, handouts from the West; these patchwork arms acquisitions and sitting-on-the-fence foreign policies ways of ours and plumb for acquiring an enabling ally such as China. What do we have to loose? What’s the point of being picked to death, over a long period, which is what our cautious and sensible foreign policy approach is achieving? I’m not sure there’s any need to continue with the perception of ourselves as beholding to any black cause due to our size. The black world seem somewhat selfish, backstabbing, and hostile to Nigeria itself and it is perhaps time we looked out for our own interest exclusively; the rest of Africa does same, limited by their capacity. I’m not an expert on defence, I don’t know about systems, but it does seem to me that certain nations like Egypt, Israel, North Korea, Brazil – to name but a few - have in place radar or something that monitor their entire airspace, also ground to air missiles, and other mature system that are part of the gains of aligning themselves with one of the world powers. Cuba, as part of the socialist block, was ready for Russia to station nuclear missiles on her soil.

The Arab world is afraid to provoke China regardless of Chinas clampdown on the Muslim Uighurs, but na Africa them won come flex for, from Mali all the Way to Mozambique.

That is what am saying. Last last rice na rice.

To be sincere I don't need to look for anything. For you to know many others know as well as issues with national assembly regarding procurement.

It not completely new or secret. Getting approval is one thing and getting the funds is another and that is where nothing can be hidden.

NAF Regiment is only present in MDGR Airbse for force protection. For ground combat duties, they're deployed to the NW against bandits, especially the current operation in Birnin Gwari. However, NAF does deploy a intelligence units along with NA troops on operations in Borno. These aren't Regiment or QRF, but rather serve as Air Combat Controllers. They relay coordinates of enemy forces and coordinate close air support missions while in constant communication with ISR and NAF combat jets. One of such officers was KIA in 2019 unfortunately.

NAF Regiment has no current mandate in Borno as far as I know apart from force protection duties in Maiduguri. If they're in Mongonu as you say, then they're probably also there to provide force protection to UN helicopter landing zones.
Yes there are NAF regiments deployed with NA in some locations in borno. However, their op under NA counterparts

Yes, I mentioned earlier, NAF doesn't commit its ground troops to the NE. NAF QRF once served alongside NA during the JTF days. After that, its rare seeing them anywhere apart from Maiduguri and Air Combat Controllers embedded with NA

Nobody does it for the sheer heck of it. It's doctrine and standard operating procedure.

If it's NAF doctrine to fly single, say so and we can have a debate about its efficacy.
If it's a question of resources, again say so, and that's another discussion.
If you don't know, no need to jump in defensively.
He is actually right.
Check previous operational video of NaF.
You will see they always fly in pairs

Those guys the police caught as ESN were the once who attacked soldiers when they where at orlu, someone captured it in a video. Where they engaged the security guys. One of the guys in the footage stood out, he was the one with the bullet proof vest claiming to be a ex- army personnel, he appeared in all three videos(the attack at orlu, the self indicting video and the police suspect display video)
First appearance was in the self indicting video, second was at the back of the highlander during orlu attack at 0.27 or 1.04

The funny thing is that entire area is crawling with police, dss, civil defense, army, prisons and even road safety.

How exactly did a bunch of miscreants possibly numbering less than 80 successfully carry out this attack unchallenged?
This is the height!

NPF is the major reason we are facing different security challenges round the country. Police that can't handle area boys without the Military help undecided

They should not turn my darling Imo state into what I’m currently witnessing with my eyes here in Borno.

Abeg I wan club for Xhrine with Cubana Chiefpriest and some sweet IMSU girls especially those posh girls living at Titanic hostel opposite IMSU gate.

Bokoharam came for the police/Army- They were cheered

Bokoharam came for Christians especially Igbo businessmen at Monday market- They were cheered.

Now the “cheerers” are living in tents Hungry.

War no Good

Their leadership killed them, looting their little allowance dry, allowing their subordinates to beg before they could feed, where is the minister of police affairs? State minister of police affairs?, where is minister of interior?, where is the most useless Police service commission?, where is IGP? and the government overlooked all the madness...My God, Nigeria has grown beyond having peace. let's face it, it would only get worse. I pray to be able to wake up to as much bad news without feeling hurts and pained.

The entire South East region is just slightly larger than half of Borno state, it will take two sides less than 3 months to turn the whole region into wastelands. Turning millions of people into IDPs with several thousands dead. Normal economic activities will stop and the ordinary people will only be concerned with how to survive and what to eat.
Death and destruction isn't what any reasonable person should hope for. The southeast elders should call their youths to order before it is too late and it is about to be too late.
By now, merchants of war would have been contacting some of the militants, offering them resources and hopes that they can win, they are only after their own profits and will move on to the next conflict as soon as this is over with.

The Nigerian military needs to... the Nigerian military needs to....

Where’s the police fgs? The Nigerian police force is dead, instead of addressing this we keep using the military to clean up.

Wahala dey for road

Same story.
tomorrow the governor would buy more Toyota hilux, armored vans, bullet proof vests and he’ll go on TV to showcase and say “we have improved security in the state.” Meanwhile the rot and incompetence has not been addressed.

Things are honestly not looking good.
